Seeking to reduce a negative impact of unfavourable weather conditions on road traffic, many countries introduce modern technologies allowing to objectively assessing meteorological conditions of roads. The world over, data from the automated meteorological stations of Road Weather Information System have been long ago used on a significantly larger scale than only for the organization of road maintenance works. International experience of introducing Road Traffic Information Systems in European Union and other countries of the world shows that Road Weather Information Systems give good results for increasing road safety, improving the level of road user information and solving the road construction issues. Road Weather Information System is a system of technologies and decision-making using historical and real-time data of roads and weather conditions. The collected and processed multi-year data from meteorological stations is a great assistance in designing or reconstructing road pavement structures. Road pavement structure is highly affected by a negative air temperature and frozen ground. The impact of negative temperature is expressed by the thickness of frost blanket course. The thickness of frost blanket course depends on a frost susceptibility of soil. To determine the thickness of frost blanket course it is necessary to assess the frost impact, therefore it was up to the purpose − climatic distribution of regions the territory of Lithuania according to the distribution of frost impact and the depth of frozen ground. Based on climatic maps compiled, a correction of the thickness of road pavement structure was suggested.

Inclement weather acutely affects road surface and driving conditions and can negatively impact traffic mobility and safety. Highway authorities have long been using road weather information systems (RWISs) to mitigate the risk of adverse weather on traffic. The data gathered, processed, and disseminated by such systems can improve both the safety of the traveling public as well as the effectiveness of winter road maintenance operations. As the road authorities continue to invest in expanding their existing RWIS networks, there is a growing need to determine the optimal deployment strategies for RWISs. To meet such demand, this study presents an innovative geostatistical approach to quantitatively analyze the spatiotemporal variations of the road weather and surface conditions. With help of constructed semivariograms, this study quantifies and examines both the spatial and temporal coverage of RWIS data. A case study of Alberta, which is one of the leaders in Canada in the use of RWISs, was conducted to indicate the reliability and applicability of the method proposed herein. The findings of this research offer insight for constructing a detailed spatiotemporal RWIS database to manage and deploy different types of RWISs, optimize winter road maintenance resources, and provide timely information on inclement road weather conditions for the traveling public.

Pertumbuhan akses informasi pada saat sekarang ini berjalan secara pesat. Masyarakat atau user untuk mendapatkan data atau informasi yang akurat, aktual, serta cepat dan mudah sekarang bukanlah hal sulit. Perkembangan internet pada saat ini semakin pesat dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari dunia pendidikan. Terdapatnya sistem informasi dan internet yang terus berkembang, maka diciptakan suatu cara penyampaian pendidikan secara elektronik dengan bantuan internet. Sistem informasi yang dimaksud pada saat sekarang lebih dikenal dengan istilah elektronik learning (e-learning). E-learning adalah suatu sistem informasi yang membantu pembelajaran manual menjadi pembelajaran secara elektronik. Pada dunia pendidikan untuk membantu dosen dan mahasiswa untuk memanajemen mata kuliah, saat sekarang ini terdapat Sistem Informasi Akademik yang lebih disingkat dengan SIA. SIA adalah suatu sistem informasi yang mengelola dan mengolah semua data-data akademik yang berada di bidang akademik. KRS online yang berada di SIA berhubungan erat dengan mata kuliah yang akan terisi pada e-learning. Dari pandangan kebutuhan tersebut, ada baiknya kedua sistem informasi tersebut digabungkan sehingga dengan user mengisi SIA, maka sistem e-learning yang berhubungan dengan mata kuliah yang diikuti akan terupdate dengan sendirinya dan perlu didesain sedemikian rupa agar kedua sistem informasi tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik dan dapat digunakan oleh para user. Pendekatan ergonomis yang diperlukan untuk sistem tersebut adalah Human Computer Interaction (HCI) sehingga sistem yang dikembangkan akan nyaman, mudah dan aman digunakan oleh user atau dengan kata lain adalah user friendly. Jurnal ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem integrasi SIA dengan e-learning sehingga dapat membantu dan mempermudah aktifitas pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi.   ABSTRACT Growth of access to information at the present time is running fast. Public or the user to obtain data or information that is accurate, current, and a quick and easy right now is not difficult. The development of the Internet in today's increasingly rapidly and can not be separated from the world of education. Presence information systems and the Internet continues to grow, then created a way of delivering education electronically with the help of internet. The information system is at present better known as electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning is an information system that helps instructional manual to electronic learning. In the world of education to enable faculty and students to manage course, nowadays there are more Academic Information System shortened by SIA. SIA is an information system that manages and processes all the data of academic residing in the academic field. KRS SIA online that are closely related to the subjects that will be filled in e-learning. From the view of these needs, it helps both information systems are combined so that the user fills in SIA, the e-learning systems relating to subjects who follow will update itself and needs to be designed so that both the information system can run well and can used by the user. Ergonomic approach is needed for these systems is the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) so that the developed system will be convenient, easy and safe to use by the user, or in      other words is user friendly. These journals are intended to develop a system AIS integration with e-learning in order to assist and facilitate the activities of learning in Higher Education.

This paper presents a summary of the international literature published on the benefits of aviation weather services. Aviation operations are highly sensitive to weather conditions. Information on weather conditions helps meteorologists, pilots, navigators, airline companies and businesses to ensure safe flights and save money by reducing some of the stringent requirements related to carrying extra fuel loads. The development of constantly updated flight plans with respect to available weather information regarding changing wind and general weather conditions can enable aircraft to use fuel more efficiently and navigate their planes in safer environments that avoid turbulence and make air flights comfortable to the travelling public. The summary literature presented in this paper illustrates the importance of the work of meteorologists in the production of relevant information and data that are accessible to pilots and navigators. The pooling of meteorological information, data and other resources by member countries of the World Meteorological Organisation represents a classic case of international cooperation that has ensured relatively safe and comfortable air flights across the world since the era of international air travel in the 20th Century speeding up the process of the more historically-recent globalisation.

Information systems play a very important role in the world of education to convey academic and non-academic information. At SMPN 2 Sedati, information is conveyed to parents about academic and non-academic achievements at the end of the semester. There is no information system that can provide development for students with mobile devices. The purpose of this research is to make a student monitoring information system to make it easier for teachers and bk in providing information on grades, presence, achievement, violations to parents of students efficiently and quickly. System testing is carried out by the blackbox method with 100% results without any errors, while user testing using the User Aceptance Testing method gets results for teachers and bk according to the material needed, for parents the application is very easy to use and the information obtained is very useful. It can be concluded that the application of the Android-Based Student Monitoring Information System is very useful and makes it easy for teachers and Bk to provide information to parents of students about the development of their children.

Abstract - Information technology was used in the world of education, needs to be done to eliminate the problem of distance, time, and place in the delivery of information. This study aims to identify and analyze the parents information system of the students based websites. The parents information system of the students is expected to provide accurate and reliable information for parents who had entrusted his son to the University of Muhammadiyah Magelang to go through the process of high-level formal education as a student. Parents are guardians of students in need of information on the progress of their children at any time in accordance with academic activities, even in relation to finance for regular payments each semester. The results of this research is a design model of parents information system of the students with integrated with KRS online system that is already running. Recently, the globalization of information system business has expanded all over the world. In order to enhance the service quality of the business, the authors examine adopting the “value in use” concept to a traditional organizational management system based on GDL. Now, they face the improvement problems, which are defined as transformation from GDL-oriented organizational management systems into service-dominant logic-oriented organizational management systems. In this chapter, the authors describe how to transform from the GDL-oriented system into the SDL-oriented management system by using the “value in use” concept, which is deeply related to service value creation.

Every educational institution annually graduates its alumni after undergoing a 3-year school period. From year to year, every new student acceptance will be the release of alumni to proceed to a higher level or jump to the world of work. Communication with alumni is not easy, usually, after graduating from school, alumni will be busy with their new activities. Until now, SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo has not utilized the use of information systems in the collection and search of alumni. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which is a systematic classical model to build software. The research was concluded that the information system that developed can be a solution to the problem of alumni data difficulties and save space in archive storage because alumni data is stored in the database.
