In order to simulate students’ enthusiasm in English listening and to improve teachers’ teaching efficiency, application of computer multimedia technology in English listening teaching has been wildly used. The purpose of this paper is to study the practical application of multimedia technology in English listening teaching. This study also also aims to improve the cognition of multimedia-assisted technology by exploring actual teaching cases. It will eliminate existing misunderstanding of assisting English listening teaching and improve the teach-ing effect of English listening. In this study we first elaborated the theoretical ba-sis of computer-assisted English listening teaching, and then clarified the teaching requirements of multimedia-assisted English listening teaching through question-naires. Finally, the effect of computer-assisted multimedia was evaluated through teaching comparative experiments. This study has important guiding significance in promoting diversified development of college English listening teaching and in developing students’ English listening ability and improving teachers’ teaching skills.

With the development of information technology, multimedia technology has been widely used in various disciplines, and has achieved very good results in actual teaching, effectively improving the quality of teaching. The application of multimedia teaching in college physical education is a typical example. Teachers can present the demonstration and imitation of physical education by means of multimedia display, which can effectively improve the efficiency and enthusiasm of students in learning. This article focuses on the application of multimedia network teaching platform and physical education, aiming to better improve the quality of physical education in colleges and universities and improve students’ sports ability.

Based on the demand of modern teaching, this paper researches the application of and problems faced by Mongolian information processing and computer multimedia technology in computer-assisted instruction. It also sets the teaching software content and learning goal and further designs the teaching software according to the English learning features and characteristics of choosing the medium of information of Mongolian college students. This software is suitable for use in learning and teaching bilingualism second language to Mongolian students, and teachers and can realize the independent code of bilingual characters, Mongolian input and output, Mongolian character handling and bilingual inter-translation functions. Manufacture and development of bilingual teaching software facilitates the enthusiasm of Mongolian college students to learn English, improve the language learning environment and plays a positive facilitation role in multilanguage integration and cultural development of the Mongolian area.

In order to adapt to the needs of the rapid development of social networks, how to effectively improve college students’ English comprehensive application ability, and rapidly improve listening and speaking skills has become an important research goal of college English teaching. This paper describes the main problems to be solved, and makes full use of the network and multimedia technology to build an open, interactive network English teaching platform. with the continuous development of mobile communication technology, learners can easily take advantage of the fragmentary time to learn through smartphone and tablet PC due to their portability. We applied the mobile multimedia technology to the multimedia teaching of the ideological and political course, designed a mobile multimedia teaching platform for the ideological and political course, put forward the application of mobile technology to the ideological and political education for the first time. In addition, based on the frame of Ruby on Rails, we used HTML5 technology to enrich the functionality of the education platform, and adopted the online examination technology in the online examination section of the mobile teaching platform in order to help students evaluate their learning better and improve their learning efficiency. The teaching practice test showed that the excellent rate in the experimental group is improved obviously, reaching 10%; the good rate in the experimental group increases by 25% compared with that in the control group, and the number of people at medium and passing stages declines obviously: the medium rate decreases by 30%. These findings indicate the mobile teaching platform for the ideological and political course could improve students' learning scores significantly, which has a broad application prospect.

Through the analysis and research of the multimedia teaching platform system based on computer Internet technology, this paper proposes constructing a network multimedia teaching platform system based on streaming transmission to realize the sharing of excellent teaching resources in colleges and universities and the development of education and teaching. The design and development of each module of the teaching platform are completed, and the realization technology of each module function is explained. We completed the design and implementation of some auxiliary functions of the teaching platform, including the system usage help module, resource search module, and online on-demand playback functions. After the experiment, we compare the changes of students’ English anxiety before and after the experiment and conduct interviews with them. The results show that the application of the Internet-based scaffolding teaching model in college English reading teaching can alleviate students’ English learning anxiety. Through interviews to understand students’ feedback and evaluation of the new teaching model, it was found that most students hold positive evaluations of the Internet-based scaffolding teaching model, believing that the new teaching model can stimulate students’ English learning enthusiasm and increase confidence in English learning.

As an outcome of the further development of modern simulation technology, virtual technology has been widely used under the support of computer technology and multimedia technology and provides more interactivity and perceptibility. However, in the past, the design of virtual teaching system was mainly based on theoretical analysis, resulting in low practicability. The appearance of WebGL standard simplifies the procedure of developing web-specific rendering plug-ins, contributing to more seamless 3D scenes and models. This study constructed the theory from several aspects including multimedia teaching effect under cognitive theory, WebGL architecture, design of virtual teaching curriculum based on WebGL, and built a WebGL-based virtual teaching platform for mole design through designing the overall framework and constructing the three-dimensional teaching environment. Practice has proved that the platform makes it convenient for users to create teaching scenarios and engage in interactions, and strengthens students’ understanding of theoretical knowledge and skill practice.

With the advance of technological development, many emerging technologies have been successfully applied in the teaching field, resulting in significant improvements in teaching effects. However, applying these technologies to sports specialty teaching is difficult because of certain limitations of the specialty. Few trials have been made to reform teaching methods. This study analyzes innovative studies on existing sports teaching, points out shortcomings, and attempts to introduce touch screen multimedia technology in the sports specialty. This study also discusses the theoretical basis and supporting technology to construct touch screen multimedia teaching system, as well as the design and implementation of this system. The author applies this system in Sports Physiology teaching and designs a control experiment. Results show that the practical teaching effect of touch screen computer-assisted sports is superior to the traditional teaching method, and this technology offers a new teaching mode for sports teaching.

The rapid development of mobile multimedia technology provides broader space for improvement of distance teaching system. It is very difficult for the previous multimedia technology to meet people’s requirements for informatization and intelligentization of multimedia teaching. The appearance of Flash technology offers the new thought for multimedia teaching. Flash not just supports image, voice and video, but also owns thorough object-oriented program design and can achieve interaction among multimedia of different types. In this paper, based on functional framework and distance question answering sub-system, multimedia teaching platform for Gymnastics based on Flash was constructed. Besides, the course Gymnastics was taken for example to carry out effect test, in the hope of offering data support for improvement and promotion of multimedia teaching platform and exploiting future potential development direction of network teaching.

Directing at the characteristics of the basic chemistry, the paper discusses the characteristics of the “Inorganic chemistry”, “organic chemistry”, “physical chemistry” and “analytical chemistry”, and points out that application of multimedia in the basic chemistry is in line with student’s learning and cognitive rules. And multimedia teaching can greatly improve the teaching efficiency, extend the class size and optimize the teaching effect, which is an important way to teaching reform of course in the Information Age. Then it analyzes the unique role played in teaching by media. While, if multimedia technology is not rationally used in this field, the results will be counterproductive. We try to display the advantages of multi-media teaching and strive to overcome its fault in the teaching process. We also do some discussion on the effects of improving the teaching continuously.
