Since Depending on technological advances, development of social media and mobile applications today reshape communication, education and teaching system. The extent to which social media and mobile applications which are especially used by new generation youth frequently will be beneficial in student-teacher and student-student communication is becoming more and more important. This research is based on the opinions of students on the usage of social media and mobile applications in education which take considerable time of teachers and students, social networks and mobile applications were used with the purpose of communication in science and communication technologies for 12 weeks. Thirty-five teacher candidates attended the study. At the end of the application interviews were held with 20 students and according to the findings obtained, an effort was paid to determine the impact of social media and mobile applications in student-teacher and student-student communication. Discussions and recommendations on obtained findings were presented.

With an emphasis on self-study and the connections between the personal and the professional domain, the authors reflect upon their teaching practice on a postgraduate theatre-based course using the research methodology of a/r/tography. The aim was to develop understanding of teacher/student roles and how these can affect learning. Through researcher reflexivity, focus groups and questionnaires, data were captured from students/participants responding to a video of the researcher’s solo performance work. The research presents itself through three a/r/tographic renderings. First, the experience of seeing tutors in unfamiliar roles is considered. Second, the impact of witnessing tutors taking risks as a performer and being vulnerable is discussed and, lastly, the work illuminates new ways of opening up as teachers. The authors explore how the student’s/participant’s perception of them as tutors seemed to change after witnessing them as artists and how this impacted upon student’s learning for their own assessed performance pieces.

The capabilities, tools and websites we associate with new information communication technologies and social media are now ubiquitous. Moreover tools that were designed to facilitate innocuous conversation and social interaction have had unforeseen political impacts. Nowhere was this more visible than during the 2011 uprisings across the Arab World. From Tunis to Cairo, and Tripoli to Damascus protest movements against authoritarian rule openly utilized social networking and file sharing tools to publicize and organize demonstrations and to catalogue human rights abuses. The Arab Spring, or Jasmine Revolution, was an event that was both witnessed and played out in real time online. This article explores the impacts and effects of these technologies on regimes in East Asia, in particular exploring the extent to which they proffer new capabilities upon activists and reformers in the region's semi-democratic and authoritarian regimes. Drawing on data on Internet and smartphone use, as well as case studies that explore the role of these technologies on the 2008 and 2011 general elections in Malaysia and Singapore respectively, this article suggests that the Internet and social networking platforms do present unique opportunities for activists, citizens and social movements.

COVID-19 virus, still relatively unknown to the general public, has taken over the world. The period of the coronavirus epidemic has affected all segments of life, including the education system. The traditional way of teaching (face to face) has been replaced by online teaching and a virtual environment through the mediation of information and communication technologies. The aim of this research is to gain insight into parents ’perceptions of teacher-student communication during online teaching in the time of corona crisis. Fifteen parents of lower primary school students participated in the research. A semi-structured interview was used for data collection purposes. Participants’ statements indicate that during online teaching students most often communicated with their teachers via e-mail, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Classroom, and Teams. As one of the biggest advantages of communication during online teaching, participants stated the improvement of their children's digital competencies and introduction to various communication tools, while they said that the biggest disadvantage were technical difficulties. In order to improve communication between teachers and students during online classes, participants suggested that teachers use videoconferencing more often in their teaching and organize various discussions in virtual classrooms and online forums.

<p>The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) integration in the teaching and learning practices of educational systems. The study is carried out by reviewing various literatures and studies on the ideas of ICT and its usage in teaching and learning practices. The study reveals that ICT is vital to transform the teaching and learning process and has a great importance for both teachers and students. It also looks at the definitions of ICT as given by different scholars. Lack of well-equipped ICT tools, beliefs and commitments of teachers as well as students on Technology-based Teaching and Learning practices are the main challenges of ICT implementation in education successfully.</p>

Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa de dissertação, na qual se buscou desenvolver uma ferramenta de visualização de Dados Abertos (Open Data) para uso no processo de ensino e aprendizagem em uma turma do terceiro ano do Ensino Médio na disciplina de Geografia. Teve como objetivo principal verificar como essa ferramenta influenciaria nesse processo. Para atingir o objetivo do trabalho, foi realizada uma pesquisa preponderantemente qualitativa com natureza descritiva, com referencial teórico baseado na aprendizagem significativa e no uso das tecnologias da informação e comunicação no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Foi realizada uma entrevista inicial junto ao professor da disciplina e a aplicação de questionários ao professor e aos alunos do terceiro ano, após o uso da aplicação de visualização de dados abertos e, por fim, foi proposto um teste avaliativo entre turmas que usaram o aplicativo e turmas que não o usaram. Na análise dos resultados, concluiu-se que a ferramenta trouxe vários aspectos positivos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, como uma atenção maior por parte dos alunos em relação ao conteúdo, uma motivação a mais no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, tendo apresentado aspectos relacionados à aprendizagem significativa e mostrado que os alunos que fizeram o uso da aplicação tiveram um melhor desempenho em relação aos que não fizeram o uso da tecnologia no conteúdo proposto na disciplina.Palavras-Chave: Educação. Ensino e AprendizagemAbstractThis article presents a research dissertation, which aimed to develop a visualization tool of Open Data (Open Data) for use in the process of teaching and learning in a class of third year of high school in geography discipline. Aimed to assess how these influence tool in this process. To achieve the goal of the work, mainly qualitative research was conducted with descriptive, and the theoretical framework based on meaningful learning and the use of information and communication technologies in teaching and learning. An initial interview was conducted with the subject teacher and the application of questionnaires to teachers and students of the third year after the use of open data visualization application and, finally, an evaluation test between groups who used the application was proposed and classes than used. In analyzing the results, it was concluded that the tool has brought many positive aspects in the process of teaching and learning, such as greater attention from students regarding the content, one more motivation in the process of teaching and learning, presenting aspects the significant learning and shown that students who have made the use of the application performed better than those who did not make the use of technology in the proposed content of the discipline.Keywords: Education. The development of communication technology has developed rapidly  because of this many business owners have to adapt in the current technological advances, with the majority of people are accustomed to using social media which has caused a massive shift in introducing products to people who previously focused on using offline media such as newspaper advertisements, banner ads, and others can now be replaced with the use of social media such as Instagram, Whatsapp, and others. Coupled with a new problem, namely the Covid-19 Pandemic which greatly affects offline stores. The author believes that through this problem there is an opportunity to get used to and turn to the use of social media as a means of introducing products and selling. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of social media and product diversification had an impact on increasing MSME sales in the Sidoarjo area. The data were obtained by conducting a survey of 100 respondents where the population was businessmen of MSME food and beverage in Sidoarjo by using purposive sampling and distributing questionnaires to people who have characteristics that match the criteria sought. The statistical software used in this study is SPSS version 23 of the results of the study. This states that the use of social media and product diversification has a significant effect on increasing the sales of MSME food and beverages in Sidoarjo. This article is meant to work on teacher-learner relationship and the outcomes of the student-knowledge. The aim is to determine the impact of the teacher-learner relationship on the good atmosphere on creating a good learning environment in the learning process. The assumption is that teacher’s positive attitude toward learners always favours a good learning atmosphere environment. Our methodology will be based on semi directive interviews, questionnairs and inquiries on the class beginning atmosphere, classroom chronicles and evaluations meant to teachers and students in some middle schools and high schools schools in Côte d’Ivoire. The results tell us that emotion in teacher-student relationship plays various roles in the reasoning-learning process, for « they are the heart of human beings mental life ».

Abstract Short life cycle products are frequently replaced and discarded, even though they are resource-intensive products. Technological advances and rapid changes in demand have led manufacturers to develop their innovative next-generation products quickly, which not only enables multiple generations to coexist in the market but also speeds up the technological obsolescence of products. Diversity of collected end-of-life (EoL) and rapid technological obsolescence make the effective recovery of EoL products difficult. The low utilization rate of EoL products causes serious environmental problems such as e-waste and waste of natural resources. To deal with the conflict between the technical evolution of products and the promotion of social benefits in solving environmental problems, this paper focuses on the impact of generational commonality effects on the overall production process including manufacturing and remanufacturing. Generational commonality leads to an increase in the efficiency of manufacturing due to reducing related costs. Additionally, from the remanufacturing perspective, the interchangeability between generations can help collect the EoL products needed for remanufacturing. On the other hand, it causes a weakening of the level of performance and technology evolution between generations that significantly affect the demand for short life cycle products. Therefore, this study identifies these trade-offs of generational commonality levels in both manufacturing and remanufacturing based on a quantitative approach. This study finds how different pricing strategies, production plans, and recovery costs are based on the designs of a new generation with a different degree of generational commonality.

The media serve as the channels used to deliver information or research data for any purpose. With media and technology combined, if today a person is sitting in one corner of the world, he or she can send knowledge and words to an unimaginable number of people without fear of being interrupted or argued with. This paper explores the impact of media technology in our lives. The advent of the social media is playing a role in all facets of our lives. Its overriding existence with free search engines has changed the trends in education, economics, politics, and our day-to-day routine. Here we highlight how the quest of technology in the form of social media has been an important aspect of getting this world expressed in terms of bytes. The social media include web-based technology that has changed communication into a more interactive dialogue. The social media have completely transformed the way we connect or reconnect with old friends and acquaintances, entertain ourselves, pursue our hobbies, shop, relax, and look for jobs. The social media are the primary communication medium today for a new generation of digitally aware consumers.

Modern technologies allow for quick processing of digital images. In the era of the Internet, there are many mobile applications supporting the digital processing of photos used on social media. The algorithms of many popular social networks focus on many factors, however, the photography that is placed on a given portal is of great importance. Social media allows you to reach many sources and people. With the help of a good photo, we can get high post reach that contain additional information. The use of mobile applications helps to achieve very good results. This paper presents the results obtained in the process of comparing posts using digital photo processing with those in which the photos were used without processing in a graphics program.
