Factors Influencing Tourists’ Motivational Determinants for Promotion of Tourism Destination

The concept of rural tourism has become one of the vital issues of economic and social benefits to society. This present study identifies different motivational factors that may directly or indirectly influence the tourists’ motivation. The primary objectives of this study include the growth, development, and emergence of rural tourism potentials at Kamarpukur as well as to analyze the tourists’ flow pattern and also examine the existing and future requirements in the motivational point of view. For fulfillment of the basic objective, data for the study were collected through field survey. The sample size was restricted to 200 respondents. Information gathered about tourists’ motivational factors include culture, tourism amenities, destination, and religion. The collected data have been analyzed using different statistical methods like percentage and Chi-square. The major findings of this study show, in the present scenario of above factors, how to attract more tourists for repeat visits and promote infrastructural requirement for better tourism service to increase the level of tourists’ motivation as well. In the policy implication point of view, this study is relevant for balancing the demand and supply of tourism motivational requirement indicators, which can offer better service excellence in the study area.

This study identifies the problems and prospects of rural tourism in the state of West Bengal. The primary objectives of this study include an exploration of the development and emergence of rural tourism in the state of West Bengal, analysis of the tourism gap at Bishnupur, examination of the existing as well as future requirement of tourism infrastructure of Bishnupur, and the promotion and marketing of Bishnupur as an important rural tourism destination in Indian Scenario. For the fulfillment of the basic objectives, data for the study were collected through field survey. Information about the profile of tourism industry includes hotels, guest houses, number of rooms, number of persons employed, etc., as well as the profile of the tourists. The collected data has been analyzed using different statistical methods, Wilcoxon Pair Ranked Model used for Gap analysis. This study indicates how to develop and upgrade the rural tourism destinations by proper utilization of tourism infrastructural amenities in the area as well as active participation by public private initiatives and local resource utilization. This study is relevant for balancing the demand and supply of tourism infrastructural requirement indicators, which can offer service excellence.

Marketing plays a vital role to develop the tourism and encourage the tourists to visit the destination and involve the people to enhance their socio economic condition as well. The purpose of this study is to explore three research questions about marketing strategies, about marketing tools and integrated promotional strategies in general and in this particular destination. This study aims to analyze with the help of a questionnaire of 150 respondents. This present study concentrates on impact of 7Ps on Tourists satisfaction. Collected data has analyzed by regression model. There is a great scope of tourism because every village has unique art, culture, folklore, heritage, and lifestyle and so on. Due to lack of proper marketing practices, tourism has facing different problems to pursue parallel with the main stream entrepreneurs. This study is relevant for balancing the demand and supply of tourism motivational requirement indicators which can offer better tourism service excellence in Bishnupur. It will also play a vital role in terms of the policy implication and to analyze the impact for attaining sustainable tourism development in Bishnupur.

In an increasingly competitive market for tourism service providers, it is possible to improve or preserve positions by providing a special, high-experience content assortment. Uniqueness should also be emphasized in order to increase the attractiveness of rural tourism in Hungary.  From a professional point of view, the necessity of supplying basic service items (ubiquity) and the special elements (uniqueness) are unquestionable in national rural tourism, but their actual optimal proportion is undetermined. The aim of the research is to investigate the uniqueness of rural tourism products, to identify which ones are the general and the specific elements of supply. The questions of the exploratory research will be answered by analysing a database of registered service providers of FATOSZ (Hungarian National Association of Rural and Agrotourism) based on a set of criteria designed to measure uniqueness. Data from the primary observation were analysed using descriptive statistical methods and contextual analysis. The main findings of the research were related to the experience content, which are closely related to the accommodation, environment and tourists’ activity during the stay.

Abstract Background The present study aimed to investigate the patients’ perception of the dental practice during the COVID-19 outbreak, and whether the pandemic will affect the attendance of orthodontic patients at the dental practice. An online questionnaire, including the Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4), was submitted to Italian dental patients with items about their perceived risks when going to the dentist, concerns about continuing orthodontic treatment, and the onset of temporomandibular disorders (TMD). Data were analyzed with a chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. The level of significance was set at P < 0.05. Results A total of 1566 subjects completed the survey, including 486 who were under orthodontic treatment or who had a child in orthodontic treatment. A total of 866 participants (55.3%) thought the risk of contracting the COVID-19 infection was higher in a dental practice; this perception was associated with gender (women more than man), age (over 60 years old) and high levels of distress (P<0.001). However, 894 patients (57.1%) felt comfortable going back to the dentist. Most of the orthodontic patients (84%) would continue their treatment. After the lockdown, there was a slight increase in the frequency of TMD pain (356 versus 334). Conclusions Most of the participants believed that the dental practice is a place at greater risk of contracting COVID-19, even if they continue to go to the dentist. Gender, age, and the level of distress were associated with the increase in the fear of going to the dentist due to COVID-19. Because of the pandemic, 16% of patients undergoing orthodontic treatment would not return to the dental practice to continue their orthodontic treatment after the lockdown. The prevalence of TMD pain in the population increased due to the pandemic.

This article undertakes the research problem of the assessment of the significance of poverty as a social challenge for local self-government units, and the differences in the assessment of the incidence of this phenomenon depending on the type of municipality. The authors also analyse the relationships between the ageing of the population and the assessment of the extent of poverty by municipalities. It must be pointed out that the undertaken problem has not been a subject of in-depth analysis thus far. Hence, this article fills the identified research gap in this field. The empirical part is based on the results of our own research, conducted using the Computer-Assisted Web Interview (CAWI) method on a sample of 144 municipalities of the Małopolskie Voivodship (Poland). In order to verify whether there is a relationship between the researched qualitative variables, the chi-square test of independence was used. In order to determine the relationships occurring between the categories of variables characterising the scale of the incidence of poverty and the remaining variables, a correspondence analysis was conducted. The research enabled us to find the issue of poverty to be one of the most important social problems from the point of view of municipalities. It is also worth noting that the degree of ageing in the population has an impact on the assessment of poverty among the elderly.
