Enterprise 4.0 is already referred to as the next stage of the evolution of global business and the global economy. This wave is achieved by technology enablers often referred as digital transformation (DT). Social media represent a subset of these technologies which contribute to organizational transformation. However, the adoption of social media does not imply such a transformation; changes in the organization's culture and behavior are also needed. While the technology enablers allow the production, sharing, and management of information and knowledge within the organization they also require the updating of the supporting information systems (IS). Thus, using technologies in organizations requires an exercise in understanding how to demonstrate their usefulness in relation to the creation, access, and sharing of contents and IS improvements in a safe way. To this end, this chapter envisages a new context of labor faced within DT of organizations, largely boosted by the organizational adoption of social media, and which the authors propose to be implemented through the m_CSDIT framework.

The article analyzes the contradictory impact of digitalization on the development of the economy and society. It is argued that the process of digital transformation of business has led to the emergence of new threats, which include the following types of risks: the risk of violating the confidentiality of information, cybersecurity of information systems, the risk of losing control over information flows; the risk of damage to reputation and brand by social media; the risk of a "gap" in HR potential associated with limited staff competencies (or lack thereof) in the field of digitalization.

The Digital Transformation phenomenon always tends to be complicated, ambiguous, challenging, and non-routine managerial tasks for organizations. The success rate of such digital transformation is very low due to rapid changes in technologies. Digital transformation through these technologies demands a fundamental change in organization processes, technology and behavior of the people. This broad change results in different socio-technical issues and challenges. The primary objective of the study is to discover issues, challenges and impact/benefits during digital transformation, investigated by various researchers. For this purpose, a systematic literature review (SLR) as prescribed by Levy and Ellis (2005) helped in identifying the challenges of digital transformation. The articles published from 2008 to 2018 were selected and analyzed. The findings of this research reflect the importance of developing an effective digital transformation strategy in organizations. The proactive strategy regarding people, process, technology, and most importantly their alignment in the organization is found critical in executing such transformation initiative in the organization. The planned efforts regarding knowledge management also played an important role in executing and sustaining such transformation initiatives in the organizations. Moreover, value creation, operational efficiency, competitive advantage, customer relationship, and new business model emerged as a vital motivational factor and outcome for digital transformation. Keywords: Digital transformation, digital transformation issues and challenges, systematic literature review, digital transformation benefits/impact.

Information Systems are the core of every business and cut across almost all aspects of organizational life. The adoption of technology enablers, by itself, does not guarantee such an organizational transformation. The new technology enablers allow the production, sharing and management of information and knowledge within the organization between peers and other stakeholders, and they also allow the improvement of organizational processes, requiring the updating of the supporting IS. Taking advantage of these technologies for organizations within the context of digital transformation requires a comprehension exercise in how to demonstrate their usefulness with regard to the creation, access and sharing of contents and IS improvements in a safe way. To this end, this chapter provides a comprehensive view of a new context of labour faced by the DT of organizations, which we term Enterprise 4.0 and which we propose to be implemented through the m_CSDIT framework, so as to improve the organizational well-being considering the collective intelligence and agility dimensions.

In the last 10 years we have seen enormous and dramatic changes in the way we view and use Information. These changes have had far reaching effects, including, but certainly not limited to, the creation of a complex and vibrant global economy, and a sea change in the way we live, work and play. Profitability and survival are increasingly contingent upon an ability to successfully operate in this global arena. Technology has played a pivotal role in the creation of this global economy and will be a crucial determinant of success for organizations that operate within it. These organizations must and will demand a comprehensive array of attributes and skills from their personnel. Information Systems (IS) professionals particularly will be called upon to provide their clients with relevant and timely information, which is a major component of the concept of an “Informing Science" as presented.

New and emerging information systems are significantly transforming organizations through new business models, opportunities, products, and services. This chapter highlights the new and emerging information systems (IS), their usage, and how they drive organizational transformation. The DeLone and McLean Model of IS Success was used as a theoretical lens to discuss existing literature on organizational transformation arising from new and emerging IS. While some organizations succumb to the introduction of the new and emerging IS with its disruptive nature, others tend to manage the changes introduced through new business models, appropriate infrastructure, skills, knowledge, enhanced data security, and effective communication. The chapter contributes to the scholarship and practice of digital transformation of organizations in developing economies.

The digital transformation of society is leading to the creation of a large number of distributed automated information systems in various areas of modern life. The need to meet security and reliability requirements prompts the creation of tools for their automated testing. Fuzzing within the security development lifecycle (SDL) is a strictly required tool for solving this problem. Tools for fuzzing binary-only applications are in demand too. These kind of fuzzing tools provide the search for critical defects in already functioning systems. It is especially acute when researching the security of proprietary systems operating using closed protocols. In the course of the research, it was found out that for fuzzing network applications in the absence of source codes, the use of universal fuzzers is complicated by many factors. These circumstances are pushing for the creation of an easy-to-use tool for network applications fuzzing. The paper discusses the features of fuzzing of this kind of programs and suggests possible solutions to the identified tasks.

The ability of the global economy to compete and evolve in the 21st century increasingly depends on the innovative and efficient use of information and communication technologies (ICT). Over the last decade, digitalization has improved decision-making in the global business ecosystem in a variety of contexts, and recent advances in technology transformed the business models in a way that reshapes the economic actor’s interaction with business activities. The emergent conversion of the traditional economy is changing as automation tools, process standardization, and reuse of goods along with cloud computing technology shape the global economy towards digitalization, arising the concern to ensure the development of ICT proficiency in all sectors of the economy in order to create economic balance, avoiding a potential crisis based on the innovation deficit. The speed of digital transformation in the business environment will directly affect the models of economic growth and social development in the future. The present technological revolution is a valid indicator of the civilization progress of the 21st century and the digital transformation requires an improved association of organizational e-leadership skills, innovation, and business development based on business intelligence concepts. Therefore, the reduction of e-leadership skills can be a competitive disadvantage for the industry and a constraint on potential growth. From these considerations, the aim of the paper is to examine the diffusion of business intelligence elements in the global economy, providing examples of business models that have emerged as a result of digitalization improvement, and contributes to an overview of the main features of the digital economy that have emerged in these business models. Using a methodology based on the systematic review of the literature and global analysis regarding the topic, the paper presents a framework of the role that digitalization performs in the global economy transition from analog to digital configuration.

Information systems and technologies (IST) are the essence of up-to date organizations, and changes in this field are occurring at an uncontrollable pace, interrupting traditional business models and forcing organisations to implement new models of business. Social media represent a subset of these technologies which contribute to organizational transformation. However, by itself, the adoption of social media does not imply such a transformation; changes in the organization's culture and behaviour are also needed. The use of IST in an appropriate and integrated way with the organization's processes will depend on an individual and collective effort. For organizations to take advantages of these technologies within the context of Social Business, a comprehension exercise is required in how to demonstrate their usefulness. To this end, this paper will provide a comprehensive view of a new context of labour faced by traditional organizations i.e. social business supported by mobile IST – mobile_Create, Share, Document and Training (m_CSDT) – in order to improve the well-being of these organizations through the collective intelligence and agility dimensions.

The creation of information models requires the use of known methods and the development of new methods of formalizing the pre-design research process. The modeling process consists of four stages: data collection on the object of management - pre-project research; creation of a graphical model of business processes taking place in the enterprise; development of a formal model of business processes; business research by optimizing the formal model. To support the creation of workflow management services and systems, the complex offers methodologies, standards and specialized software that make up the developer's tools. This can be ensured only by modern automated methods based on information systems. It is important that the information collected is structured to meet the needs of potential users and stored in a form that allows the use of modern access technologies. Before discussing the effectiveness of FIM, it should be noted that the basic concept of information itself is still not the same. In a pragmatic way, it is a set of messages in the form of an important document for the system. Information can be evaluated not only by volume, but also by various parameters, the most important of which are: timeliness, relevance, value, aging, accuracy, etc. in addition, the information may be clear, probable and accurate. The methods of its reception and processing are different in each case.

The article is devoted to the study of ways to research performance study as a cultural phenomenon. The growing interest in the phenomenon of performance art is due to the lack of a dividing line with our life, the creation of a special reality, the ability to cause strong emotional states and mutual empathy. The difficulty of study is also in trouble archiving it, shaky kind of narrative which escapes the perception of the unprepared viewer, the migration of the exhibition halls and in the social media sphere, followed by the creation of new genres. This analyzes the ways of understanding the cultural phenomenon of performance art. The features of being are determined, patterns and a variety of its manifestations in modern culture are revealed.
