This chapter investigates how the three referent groups (peers, parent, media) of subjective norms (SN) influence the intention of millennials to adopt e-wallets. This study is supported by the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and stimulus-organism-response (SOR) framework. A total of 215 usable responses were obtained and analyzed using SPSS 25 and SmartPLS 3.2.6. The data is collected using a self-administered survey (Lancaster Qualtrics) and distributed randomly using the snowball sampling technique. The results indicate that the decomposition of SN has a significant relationship towards the intention of millennials to adopt e-wallets. This chapter also provides useful insights on what are the other factors that would build the intention of millennials towards the usage of e-wallets. Moreover, TPB along with the SOR framework supports the findings and provides better credibility to this study. This chapter concludes that brands should leverage more capital on media advertisements rather than peer referrals if they want to capture a larger market.

Surgery is the follow-up actions of diagnosis. The biggest revenue in Clinics comes from surgery. The number of patients suffering cataract who do not undergo cataract surgery affects the revenue of Clinics. The problem in this study was high number of cataract patients who did not undergo cataract surgery with an average of 50.7% per month. This study aimed to clarify the influence Theory of Planned Behavior in generating intention to undergo cataract surgery among patients. Population under study was patients eligible for cataract surgery. Sampling was done using accidental sampling technique with a number of 67 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and analysis was done using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that variable attitude had a dominant influence on the intention to undergo cataract surgery, with value of β =0,379. The second variable was the perceived behavioral control with value of β=0,258, and the third variable was subjective norms with value of β=0,246. Therefore, it can be inferred that variable of attitudes toward behavior is factor with dominant influence on the intention to undergo cataract surgery. Finally it is expected that Mojoagung Eye Clinic to improve attitudes, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms of patients. Keywords: intention, Theory of Planned Behavior

The present study was carried out with the objective to assess Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC) of Assam Agricultural University (AAU) on personal and economic empowerment of farmers in Jorhat district of Assam. A random, purposive cum snowball sampling technique was followed to conduct the study. 8 villages of Jorhat district which are located within the radius of 50 kilometre from ATIC were selected on random basis. From the 8 villages, 120 respondents were selected purposively by using snowball sampling technique. The collected data were systematically arranged, classified, tabulated and analyzed with the help of different statistical techniques and tests namely frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, weighted mean score, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, test of significance of correlation coefficient and chi-square test. The findings of the study revealed that 17.50 per cent respondents had low, 60.83 per cent respondents had medium and 21.67 per cent respondents had high level of overall personal and economic empowerment. The study indicated that age had negative and significant relationship, whereas operational land holding and annual family income of the respondents had positive and significant relationship with personal and economic empowerment of the respondents. It was found from the study that caste, education, occupation and social participation of the respondents had significant association with personal and economic empowerment of the respondents. From the study it can be concluded and recommended that various extension strategies like market led extension, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) led extension and agrepreneurship led extension should be implemented in integrated approach to enhance the empowerment of farmers.

Several researches have been carried out to predict the intention to pay zakat using the factors introduced by the Theory of Planned Behavior – developed by Ajzen & Fishbein (1980). Meanwhile, an addition of predicting past behavior factor on the intention to pay zakat has not been found in previous researches. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and past behavior towards the intention of traders in the Lhokseumawe city to pay zakat commercial. The revised Theory of Planned Behavior was used in the research. This study aims to predict the intention of zakat payers. A total of 2,432 traders as the population of the research was identified and 150 of them were chosen as respondents determined using the purposive sampling technique. Using multiple linear regression models, it has found that the subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and past behavior partially have positive and significant influence towards the intention to pay zakat commercial. It also finds that past behavior variable has the most dominant impact towards the intention of zakat payers, while attitude has the least impact towards the intention. Finally, there is a simultaneously positive and significant influence towards the intention to pay zakat commercial.

The present study investigated the knowledge-sharing behavior of library and information management researchers, using the lens of the theory of planned behavior. The study is quantitative and adopted a survey questionnaire as a data collection technique. The snowball sampling technique was considered suitable to recruit respondents to the study. Data were analyzed with the help of SPSS (20.0) and the ADANCO (2.0.1). The research findings confirm that subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have a significant impact on intentions to share knowledge, whereas knowledge sharing intentions have a statistically significant positive impact on knowledge sharing behavior through SNS among postgraduate students. Attitude towards knowledge sharing directly triggers knowledge sharing practices through social media networking sites. Intentions to share knowledge do not mediate the relationship of attitude and knowledge sharing behavior. The theory of planned behavior has widely been used to measure knowledge-sharing behavior in different sectors. However, the relationship between attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, intentions to share knowledge within the domain of social media is explored first time in this study, particularly in the context of the library and information science post-graduate students.

Internet is a contemporary solution to keep people connected to the outside world. A lot of experience will be gained from something you never knew before. Everyone is entitled to the right science because the demand for science is long live education, the other term is life for science. Through the internet a person's ability to reach distant places in just a few seconds, so fast as to make the world already in the grip. The presence of the Internet creates its own contradictions, on one hand its presence produces many positive sides, one of the benefits is there is an opportunity to access new knowledge and can work to be meaningful to fellow human beings around the world. But on the other hand the internet also has a negative impact, because it damages morale and development in children in particular. The Internet provides a free opportunity to explore with privacy, raising the question of whether the exploration is on the right track or on a deviant course. This study used descriptive qualitative method with phenomenalogy analysis involving several family members. Data collection through snowball sampling technique to get saturated data. The result of the research in this journal is that the internet in its use can be controlled through parent's mentoring, special approach with certain tricks and steps, and educators and parents also need to know internet usage, so that children activities can be controlled well
