The overall commitment of hydropower plants (HPP) in providing the interest for power is 1106 TWh. The issue with hydropower lies with the way that its proficiency relies upon numerous indicators which are elements of climatic, pressure driven and financial markets. Every one of these indicators again rely on pressure driven misfortune forced because of the time being used, change in energy requirements, locational interference and quality of the machine installed. As there are numerous indicators having diverse levels of impact on the execution productivity of HPP, a few indicators are exaggerated and some others stay under appraised which brings about incorrect basic leadership. The present study proposes another cross breed show in view of the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Also in the present investigation rank of each indicator determine by Statistical Process Control (SPC). The needs are dictated by hybrid technique in particular SPC-DEMATEL-AHP. As per the outcomes, effectiveness of turbine is the most noteworthy for impacting general productivity of HPP.

The quality of human life is linked to the exploitation of mining resources. The Exploitability Index (EI) assesses the actual possibilities to enable a mine according to several factors. The environment is one of the most constraining ones, but its analysis is made in a shallow way. This research is focused on its determination, according to a new preliminary methodology that sets the main components of the environmental impact related to the development of an exploitation of industrial minerals and its weighting according to the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It is applied to the case of the ophitic outcrops in Cantabria (Spain). Twelve components are proposed and weighted with the AHP and an algorithm that allows for assigning a normalized value for the environmental factor to each deposit. Geographic Information Systems (GISs) are applied, allowing us to map a large number of components of the environmental factors. This provides a much more accurate estimation of the environmental factor, with respect to reality, and improves the traditional methodology in a substantial way. It can be established as a methodology for mining spaces planning, but it is suitable for other contexts, and it raises developing the environmental analysis before selecting the outcrop to be exploited.

The yarn quality depends on many parameters: characteristics parameters, mechanical and physical properties. Making the hypothesis that the quality of the yarn is a multicriteria problem, in this paper, we propose a new method to determine the Quality Yarn Index QYI based on Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP and Fuzzy theory. A questionnaire was designed for experts of each field (weaving and knitting) to evaluate the relative importance for each property to determine coefficients of the AHP matrix. Results revealed that matrix coefficients changed with yarn application (weft or warp weaving and knitting) The QYI can be used in any application, where a rapid decision is needed, to evaluate the global quality of yarn and to make a comparison between different yarn qualities

This study aims to analyze for factors that cause delays in the absorption of the Bogor City Government's expenditure budget so that a strategy can be formulated to improve the performance of this budget absorption. Searching for variables forming the causal factors is done by direct observation and library data search. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is used to look for underlying factors extracted from the factors forming variables. The search for alternative strategies to improve performance of budget absorption was carried out using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The EFA analysis found five main factors causing delays in the absorption of budget expenditure, namely factor in budget planning activities, factor in government regulation and bureaucracy, factor of work conditions, factor influencing financial activities and disbursement of the Government budget, and human resources of the state civil apparatus (ASN). AHP analysis shows that of the five leading sectors of the Regional Apparatus that play a role as key leaders in improving the performance of budget absorption is Sekretariat Daerah. The main obstacle in improving budget absorption is internal and external intervention. The main strategy to correct delays in spending is to improve quality of budget planning and procurement of service goods.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to find out a scientific method to evaluate quality of complex products, whose quality is different from general products. Design/methodology/approach – Based on interval grey number theory, reliability analysis method and stochastic network theory, authors have established grey success tree analysis-graph evaluation and review technique (GSTA-GERT) model in this paper. Findings – Comparing complex products and general products, authors have found that complex products have two characters, i.e. quality of manufacture and quality of service. Furthermore, this paper has proved the GSTA-GERT model is a scientific and reasonable approach to estimate quality of complex products from the sight of manufacture-service network. Originality/value – This paper has established GSTA-GERT model, which surmounts the defect of traditional estimation method, such as lacking logic analysis in the method of analytic hierarchy process.

A number of factors must be considered when selecting a convention site. Typically, most selections are based on the decision makers’ knowledge and experience, which may lead to biased decisions based on the decision makers’ subjective judgment. This study establishes decision-making evaluation factors and attributes for convention site selection based on a literature review. After surveying experts’ opinions using questionnaires, we employed the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to analyze the weighting of the factors and attributes. The results show that of the five evaluation factors, site environment is the most important, followed by meeting and accommodation facilities, local support, extraconference opportunities, and costs. Additionally, the five most important attributes among the 20 evaluation attributes are the suitability of convention facilities, suitability and quality of local infrastructure, climate, city image, and political conflict or terrorist threats.

Environmental burdens are currently a significant determinant ofenvironmental quality. The occurrence of montane environmental burdens affects the environmental quality at the local, regional and supraregional levels, mostly to a negative extent. Environmental pollution, due to montane environmental burdens is accompanied by a reduction in environmental quality in all spheres of anthropogenic existence. It is for this reason that the presented article studies the occurrence of montane environmental burdens and their impact on environmental quality in individual regions of the Slovak Republic. In the analyses Analytic Hierarchy Process a multi-criteria decision-making method based on values of the weights in terms of the principles of the Saaty matrix – a quantification of synergistic interactions of indicators. The study concentrates on selected comparative years 2008, 2012, 2017 and 2021 and includes a matrix of their elimination. The results present a categorization of montane environmental loads in the Slovak Republic into categories of the environmental load (from very low to very high) on the environmental quality. In the summary matrix of a comprehensive assessment of montane environmental loads, negative indicators (55.65%) prevails over positive ones (44.35%) with a total scoring ratio of 0.80, i.e. III. category, the average impact on environmental quality.

Assuming that regulatory obstacles such as capital controls, breach of contract, and other market imperfections are still predominant even in today’s increasingly integrated financial markets, this study demonstrates application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to effectively assess country-specific risks to cross-border investments. The AHP is an expert-driven system that has been applied to numerous fields but has yet to be applied to the assessment and management of country-risk exposure. This study shows that it is also capable of selecting an optimal host country (OHC) for a foreign investment, herein a national market where country-specific risks are least likely to adversely affect its return.

Many companies recently have been choosing information technology (IT) outsourcing in response to complicated information systems and various internal requirements. In order to monitor and maintain a high quality of IT outsourcing vendors’ services, it is necessary to develop a system to evaluate IT outsourcing customer satisfaction. The system can be used as a tool for choosing IT outsourcing providers. Through the literature reviews and expert interviews, we propose the evaluation system of the IT outsourcing customer satisfaction. Using AHP (analytic hierarchy process) technique, attributes associated with customer satisfaction in IT outsourcing environments are then rated in terms of their importance. The customer satisfaction evaluation system is applied to IT outsourcing service receivers in Korea to demonstrate its practical implications.
