While Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) often face the constraints of financial and IT resources, the emergent social media could be a cost effective tool for SMEs to leverage for their competitive advantages. Yet, it remains unclear on whether and how SMEs are able to reap both tangible and intangible benefits by adopting and using social media. This study seeks to look into these questions by empirically examining the adoption and use of Facebook in SMEs. The authors' findings suggest that the adopting SMEs begin to see the positive effect on their sales revenue growth after a couple of years of persistent use and engaging activities. Also, the interactions measured by posting activities from both a firm and its customers have predictive effects on the building of an engaging online community in terms of size. These offer important implications for formulating and implementing effective social media strategies in SMEs.

One of the impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic is the limited interaction of the community in various activities, including business activities, causing Indonesia to experience a 0.1% decline in economic growth in 2020, and more than 50% of Small and Medium Enterprises have become victims. However, the limited interaction in business activities is not a major problem for the millennial generation. They have sufficient skills and knowledge in utilizing technology to carry out their business activities. The method used today is marketing through digital content which is known as digital content marketing. Many business people have started to switch to modern marketing based on digital technology because it is considered more effective and can be done in various situations and conditions, including during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the role of digital content marketing towards the efforts made by millennial entrepreneurs in Kupang City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative in order to obtain data and facts related to the research problem directly. Through the results and discussion, it was concluded that digital content marketing plays an important role in creating cost-effective promotions, increasing sales, communication media and effective and up to date marketing information. Digital content marketing plays a role in building brand awareness and consumer loyalty, being a means of developing creativity and knowledge of business actors in utilizing technology for business, and creating competitive advantages for millennial entrepreneurs in Kupang City. One of the efforts to improve the competitive advantage in rapid technological developments, especially in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), is to maximize the potential of human resources. However, at this time human resources MSMEs’owners are not acceptable in digital competence and low ability to improve entrepreneurial orientation. The role of human resources consisting of digital competence and entrepreneurial orientation leads to the competitive advantages of micro, small and medium enterprises. The study used a quantitative approach, using multiple regression analyses to analyze a questionnaire sample of 180 micros, small, and medium enterprises manufacture of food products in Bandung City. Results showed digital competence and entrepreneurial orientation have positive effect on competitive advantage. Salah satu usaha untuk dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing ditengah perkembangan teknologi yang pesat khususnya pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) adalah dengan memaksimalkan potensi dari sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya. Namun begitu saat ini sumber daya manusia atau pelaku usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah kurang akseptabel dalam penguasaan kompetensi digital serta rendahnya kemampuan dalam meningkatkan sikap orientasi kewirausahaannya. Peranan sumber daya manusia yang terdiri dari kompetensi digital dan orientasi kewirausahaan ini mengarah kepada keunggulan bersaing usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menganalisis sampel kuisioner sebanyak 180 pelaku UMKM industri pengolahan makanan di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kompetensi digital dan orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan bersaing.

The study examines the determinant factors that influence financial inclusion among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Ethiopia. The study uses an explanatory research design and a mixed research approach with both primary and secondary sources of data. More specifically, the study adopts a multiple linear regression model. The finding of the study reveals that; supply-side factors, demand-side factors, market opportunity, and collateral requirements have a positive effect on the firm’s access to finance. On the other hand, institutional framework factors, and the costs of borrowing negatively affect the firm’s access to finance. This study suggests concerned bodies sustain rapid and inclusive economic growth and hence eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, the policymakers must build an efficient, strong, and well-functioning financial market system that provides affordable and sustainable financial service to SMEs.

Research related to the effect of product turnover on the performance of companies in the industrial sector is still needed to do research and study in depth. This is needed because the developed sector, especially related to product rotation, has an important role in advancing the sustainability of the company. The research methodology in this research is descriptive quantitative using simple linear regression analysis and using SPSS v 23 and Amos v 23 software as a calculation tool through a measurement model using simple Linear Regression at 87 MSMEs in Sukabumi City. The results of this study indicate a positive effect of product turnover on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Controlling the investment activities of company representatives helps to avoid inefficient investment activities. Shareholders will face with risks if manager’s decisions which not bring benefits to shareholders (according to agency theory). Studying the influence of corporate governance on investment has an important role in controlling investment activities of enterprises. Therefore, the authors analyze the impact of corporate governance on investment of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam from 2014 to 2018. With data collected from 480 small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. The results show that state-owned enterprises tend to invest less than non-state enterprises. Companies with manager is board chair and manager hold shares will make investing more. Revenue growth and financial leverage have a positive impact on investment. From the results of this study, the authors also make some recommendations to help control investment activities in the enterprise through corporate governance characteristics.

The perpetrators of MSMEs generally do not use the standards applicable in the preparation of financial statements. MSME financial statements often use cash basis taken from daily cash mutation sources. The Indonesian Institute of Accountants seeks to contribute to overcome the constraints of MSMEs in the preparation of financial statements by issuing the Financial Accounting Standards of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (SAK EMKM) and effective from 1 January 2018. SAK EMKM is simple to be implemented easily by MSMEs. The Financial Statements according to SAK EMKM are prepared on the accrual basis. The research took 50. MSMEs in Surabaya using convenience sampling method. The data used are primary data obtained through questionnaires. This study aims to finding out the hypothesis that the perception of MSMEs in Surabaya against the application of EMKM IFRS had an effect on the application of EMKM IFRSs, testing the education level hypothesis of MSMEs in Surabaya had an effect on the application of EMKM IFRSs, and tested the hypothesis of SAK EMKM dissemination in Surabaya. application of SAK EMKM. The results showed that partially the perception of MSMEs entrepreneurs has a positive effect on implementation SAK EMKM while the level of education and sozialization has a negative effect.

As a powerful driver, small and medium enterprises (SME) has a huge contribution to the German economy. The shortage of skilled workers underlines an emerging and resilient German economy. However, the future prospects of SME depend on creative employees as key actors. Nevertheless, demographic change is perceptible so that the labour integration of resident immigrants becomes more important. But several studies investigated inequalities especially discrimination in the labour market intensifying brain drain. Social discrimination has great impact on the capabilities of people, particularly in labour. Disadvantages are exposed to a lack of opportunities with the result of a capability gap. Diversity management offers competitive advantages but is mostly a management tool of bigger enterprise performances. This paper will present a process of enabling and empowering management process of capabilities. It is presented by the example of the solution cycle which will be called a participatory process design contributing to the lack in the classic management of diversity.

Salah satu bisnis bidang kuliner yang bisa dijalankan adalah bisnis katering. Selain itu  dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi dan pemanfaatan teknologi bisnis di media online merupakan opsi yang menguntungkan bagi usaha kecil dan menengah. bisnis online memiliki lahan pasar yang cukup besar, diperkirakan angka pengguna internet di Indonesia lebih dari 88 juta orang. Katering misalnya, bisnis penyedia makanan yang awalnya jarang melakukan promosi, sekarang banyak ditemukan iklan katering di social media instagram. Namun kenyataanya masih banyak usaha katering yang belum menggunakan teknologi sebagai usaha promo katering yang mumpuni. Ini dapat dilihat dari usaha katering yang dijalankan oleh posdaya mandiri bekasi. Bisnis katering ini masih menggunakan promo secara manual untuk mengenalkan usaha katering mereka. Alhasil usaha katering yang dijalankan oleh posdaya mandiri bekasi tidak berjalan dengan maksimal. Solusinya kami tawarkan untuk menjawab permasalah di atas yaitu meningkatkan pelatihan dan praktek Pengelolaan Bisnis Katering Manual Menjadi Bisnis Katering Online. Mitra bisa memanfaatkan media online sebagai tempat untuk promosi katering serta penyebaran informasi secara luas dan gratis. Selain itu Pengembangan Menu Katering. Pengembangan katering selain masakan katering biasa, dibuat katering khusus balita dengan mengusung “real food” bahan alami untuk dibuat makanan dengan kemasan yang bagus dan nilai gizi yang tinggi, Karena sasaran pasar ini banyak tetapi belum ada usaha seperti ini. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki kontribusi atas Pendapatan Domestik Bruto (PDB) rata-rata sebesar 60% sehingga kelangsungan usahanya perlu dipertahankan dengan mengenali faktor-faktornya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal usaha, kualitas produk, dan jaringan wirausaha terhadap kelangsungan usaha UMKM Madu Sari Lanceng. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dan menggunakan analisis statistik. Pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner kepada 22 pelaku UMKM Madu Sari Lanceng di Nglipar, Gunungkidul. Hasil analisis memberikan gambaran:  a) Modal Usaha dan Jaringan Wirausaha tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kelangsungan Usaha; b). Kualitas Produk berpengaruh positif terhadap kelangsungan usaha. Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a contribution to the average Gross Domestic Income (GDP) of 60% so that their business continuity needs to be maintained by recognizing the factors. This research aims to analyze the influence of business capital, product quality, and entrepreneurial networks on the business continuity of Madu Sari Lanceng MSMEs. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, and uses statistical analysis. Data collection in the form of questionnaires to 22 MSME madu sari lanceng actors in Nglipar, Gunungkidul. The results of the analysis provide an overview: a) Business Capital and Entrepreneurial Network have no effect on Business Continuity; b). Product Quality has a positive effect on business continuity
