This paper introduces the TPMS installation method and system composition, and on this foundation, a kind of scheme of the TPMS emitter based on the SP37 chip is proposed. Monitor use the microprocessor and TDA5230 chip to realize the wireless data receiving, and this paper details the key technology in the hardware and software design. The actual test results show that, sensitivity of the wireless data receiving of the system not less than -105dBm, and the system works stability when speed of car is 80 ~100 km/h.

In this study, we describe the development of a plug-in type of switchgear that can control bidirectional power flow. This switchgear system can connect distributed generations such as photovoltaic and wind turbine generation, and AC and DC loads. The proposed switchgear system consists of an inverter for connecting distributed generations and DC load, a static transfer switch (STS) that can control and interrupt the bidirectional power flow, and an intelligent electronic device (IED) that can control each facility using a communication system. Since the topology inside the switchgear is composed of DC bus, it can be operated as a plug-in type of system that can be used by simply connecting the converters of various distributed generations to the inverter in the developed switchgear system. In this study, we describe the overall structure of the proposed switchgear system and the operation of the components. In addition, prototypes of each facility are developed and the results of building a small testbed are presented. Finally, we verify the operation of the inverter by performing an experiment on the testbed and show that throughout a test sequence the proposed switchgear system works normally. The contributions of this study are the development of a plug-in type of switchgear for AC/DC and the actual test results presented through prototype development and testbed configuration.

Nutmeg is a source of income for some people in South Aceh, and some types of nutmeg, like mace nutmeg, are of better quality. Mace nutmeg is also an agricultural community with great economic value and benefits for humans, as it can be processed into spices and herbs. A range of products includes nutmeg oil and medicines. The harvesting and drying of mace nutmeg, which is still considered a problem by nutmeg growers, cannot be isolated from the processing of the basic ingredients. The natural process of drying mace nutmeg involves the use of sunshine, which necessitates a considerable drying time. Therefore nutmeg farmers frequently complain of erratic weather, especially during the wet season. The constant rain can cause the mace to rot, causing the nutmeg farming community's revenue to become unstable. Methods and steps of research work starting from the study of literature, determination of design specifications, hardware design, software design, toolmaking, tool testing.Good results were reached with the dryness of the mace nutmeg, which can be adjusted, and without putting into account the weather in the drying process, which is usually done with the heat of the sun, per the results of the testing of the designed tools. The average dryness of mace nutmeg is at a temperature of 45 percent with a time of 4 hours and a capacity of 100 grams; according to the test results of the automatic mace drying machine, it produces 50 grams of dry mace.

Desulfurization ash and fly ash are solid wastes discharged from boilers of power plants. Their utilization rate is low, especially desulfurization ash, most of which is stored. In order to realize their resource utilization, they are used to modify loess in this paper. Nine group compaction tests and 32 group direct shear tests are done in order to explore the influence law of desulfurization ash and fly ash on the strength of the loess. Meanwhile, FLAC3D software is used to numerically simulate the direct shear test, and the simulation results and the test results are compared and analyzed. The results show that, with the increase of desulfurization ash’s amount, the shear strength of the modified loess increases first and then decreases. The loess modified by the fly ash has the same law with that of the desulfurization ash. The best mass ratio of modified loess is 80:20. When the mass ratio is 80:20, the shear strength of loess modified by the desulfurization ash is 12.74% higher than that of the pure loess on average and the shear strength of loess modified by fly ash is 3.59% higher than that of the pure loess on average. The effect of the desulfurization ash on modifying the loess is better than that of the fly ash. When the mass ratio is 80:20, the shear strength of loess modified by the desulfurization ash is 9.15% higher than that of the fly ash on average. Comparing the results of the simulation calculation with the actual test results, the increase rate of the shear stress of the FLAC3D simulation is larger than that of the actual test, and the simulated shear strength is about 8.21% higher than the test shear strength.

CFD technique is often employed to simulate and optimize air duct design, but the corresponding experiment validation in metro vehicle is rare. By taking an independent metro vehicle duct as research object in this paper, supply air through air duct is simulated and compared with the actual test results from the angle of supply air velocity at each outlet and supply air volume through several outlets of air duct. The results show that the relative deviation of simulation and test value of air velocity at most of the outlets are within or near ±20%, which is acceptable for the engineering applications. Moreover, the ratio of supply air volume through several outlets to the corresponding total supply air volume through main air duct or flat duct in the case of simulation is consistent with that in the case of experiment. It can be concluded that numerical simulation method is effective and reliable in air duct optimization design of metro vehicle.

Narrowband powerline communication has the great potential market application like Auto-Meter-Reading (AMR). This paper focuses on the design and implementation of narrowband powerline communication module with the OFDM technology. Firstly, it introduces the OFDM solution for low voltage powerline communication module design, then it describes the implementation of the sync module, Viterbi code translation module and FFT module based on FPGA platform in details. Finally, it provides the actual test results for the communication module. It shows, the communication data rate of the narrowband powerline communication is greatly improved with OFDM technology.

Elements of marine freight container strength which form an integral part of on-deck container lashing systems are evaluated. Actual test results for these strength elements are presented and compared with current international standards. Proposed strength criteria are established for both containers and securing hardware that offer optimum balance between the two. Forces and motions affecting stowed containers are discussed, and a procedure to analyze container lashing systems is presented. A brief comparison between typical lashing configurations is also included.

Wind turbines typically run in harsh environments region, but the general requirements in the case of work unattended. Therefore, the brake system is a key component to protect the safe operation of wind turbines. When the wind turbine over speed occurs, overload or other abnormal conditions, the brake system needs to start immediately, so that the whole unit into the shutdown state to ensure crew safety. This article describes the role of wind turbine brake system, composition, operation principle, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the most commonly used active and passive spindle brake doubly-fed wind turbine. Completion of a wind turbine import passive brake design, manufacturing localization, combined with wind turbine machine operating parameters, developed analytical test program brakes and the test results, and for the test questions are designed to improve.

As things are now, pupils lack mastery of the elements of algebra. The extent to which this is the case can be understood and appreciated best by the consideration of actual test results. The tasks shown in Table I. were the first twenty-eight of forty making a test for which from 90 to 100 minutes was allowed and which could be done by first rate algebraists in twenty-five minutes without errors save an occasional lapse.2 Few or no complaints were made about insufficient time, and almost all the pupils attempted all of these twenty-eight tasks, and others beyond them. The schools were either private schools with excellent facilities, or public high schools in cities which rank much above the average of the country in their provision for education. In both eases the pupils would, beyond question, be superior to the average of second-year high-school pupils in general intellect and capacity for mathematics. All the pupils had studied algebra for at least one year. Most of them were continuing their study of it at the time the test was given (in October and November and December, 1921).
