Porous structure of the super absorbent polymer (SAP) was synthesized through inverse suspension method by adding acrylic acid (AA) and acrylic amide (AM) as monomer,N,N'-Methylene-bis-acrylamide (MBA) as cross-linking agent, the mixed solution of methanol and ethanol as pore-foaming agent. The factors that influenced the bibulous performance of the super absorbent polymer were studied including the dosage of cross-linking agent, the dosage of pore-foaming agent, monomer ratio, revolving speed. The Internal structure and surface morphology of SAP was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It indicated that when the monomer ratio wasm(AM):m(AA)=1:2; the weight rate of cross-linking agent and pore-foaming agent were 0.06%(compared with the quality of the monomer) and 9%, the product attained the best water absorbency of 2909 g/g in distilled water, the saline absorbency was 124.5 g/g; the water absorption rate was 10. Meanwhile, SEM showed that the structure of the copolymer was full of holes.

A super-absorbent polymer (SAP) is synthesized with polystyrene foam (PSF) and sodium acrylate through inverse emulsion polymerization. The influence of experiment conditions such as solvent of PS, composition of comonomers, initiator and cross-linking agent on the absorption capacity of the resins are discussed. The maximum water absorption rate of the prepared SAP is about 1600g/g.

Super Absorbent Polymer is a new type of functional polymer material developing at a high speed since the late 70’s. It can absorb water quickly . After absorbing water it becomes a kind of achromatic hydromel, and the absorbed should be: water is hard to remove even under pressure. As a result, it is usually referred as high-absorbent polymer, super absorbent polymer retention or super absorbent polymer unnecessary . This study is concerned methods of preparation and application areas of water absorbency, the influence of the initiating agent and cross-linking agent amount on the water absorbency. When the initiating agent, cross-linking agent ratio were respectively 0. 4% and 0. 2%, the water absorbency was highest. The reversibility of PH is also discussed, as well as the best methods of preparing high-water-absorbent resin cut this.

For the purpose of recycling of cotton waste cuttings and exploring the prospect of preparation for super absorbent polymer (SAP), the high viscosity carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) was made from cotton waste first and then the SAP was synthesized by grafting acrylic acid (AA) onto the CMC with the potassium persulfate being as initiator, N, N'-methylene bis acrylamide as crosslinker. The impact of polymerization temperature, time, initiator dosage, AA concentration, crosslinker dosage, and neutralization degree on water absorbency of SAP was studied. The optimum conditions are mass ratio of AA and CMC 7.11 g/g, initiator dosage 0.03 g/g CMC, crosslinker dosage 0.2 g/100g AA, neutralization degree 80% and polymerization time 1.5 h at 70°C of the polymerization temperature. The water retention of the polymer is good and the water absorbency reaches up to 702.5 g/g.

Super absorbent polymer (SAP) and fluff pulp were used as absorbing materials, and the different SAP mass ratio and fluff pulp were applied to paper diaper absorption core layer. Then, the influence of different SAP/fluff pulp in composite core layer on the paper diapers normal saline absorption rate and topsheet run-off were studied. Results showed that SAP has a significant effect on normal saline absorbency respect to fluff pulp. When the normal saline volume increased, the paper diapers absorption rate about normal saline decreased, while the topsheet run-off increased. When the SAP mass ratio to fluff pulp was 0.5:0.5, the liquid absorbency rate was 35.23 g/g, the paper diaper average absorption rate was 3.96 mL/s, and the biggest topsheet run-off was 13.25 g.

Lightweight aggregates glazed hollow bead, cement, foaming agent, foam stabilizer and waterproofing agents as the main raw material, produce foamed thermal insulation materials by vibration shaping. By adding emulsified stearic acid and methyl stearate alcohol organosilicon waterproofing agent, the effects of two types of waterproofing agent on quality of water absorption of foamed thermal insulation materials were studied, and the related mechanisms were discussed. Results show that the waterproofing effect of organosilicon waterproofing agents is superior to emulsified stearic acid, when the content of emulsified stearic acid and organosilicon waterproofing agent are 7% and 4% respectively, 2h,24h water absorption rate of samples are 18.34%, 45.45% and 14.45%, 32.83%.

Quality control is an effort to increase customer satisfaction and minimize damage. Super Absorbent Polymer which is a product as a raw material for making baby diapers / elderly and sanitary napkins. In Super Absorbent Polymer, defects usually found in the colour contamination that there is a dark colour on the product, print labels mistakes and packaging defects. This study aims to determine the value of DPMO and sigma level, identify the efforts which is taken to reduce disability, identify the types of disability, and find the main factors causing disability. Six Sigma method is used to analyze data with define, measure, analyze, improve and control. The quantitative data obtained by direct observation of quality problems. By using the method of six sigma can be seen that the quality of the resulting product is quite good that is 3.07 sigma with a damage rate of 58,624 for a million production (DPMO). The three highest defect product causes are color contamination of 93.34%, misprint of 3.55%, and packaging damage as much as 3.11%. The main factor causing defects is the engine factor for the type of colour contamination defect,. The type of improper defects in the packaging labels and main factor for the packaging defects is the human factor.kecacatan rusaknya kemasan faktor utama ialah faktor manusia.

With information processing devices such as radio telescopes, microscopes or hi-fi systems, the quality of the output often is limited by distortion or noise introduced at the input stage of the device. This analogy can be extended usefully to specimen preparation for the electron microscope; fixation, which initiates the processing sequence, is the single most important step and, unfortunately, is the least well understood. Although there is an abundance of fixation mixtures recommended in the light microscopy literature, osmium tetroxide and glutaraldehyde are favored for electron microscopy. These fixatives react vigorously with proteins at the molecular level. There is clear evidence for the cross-linking of proteins both by osmium tetroxide and glutaraldehyde and cross-linking may be a necessary if not sufficient condition to define fixatives as a class.
