In order to help the transportation enterprises strengthen their competitiveness, this study proposed a digital photo frame which based on the ARM9 family processor chip S3C2440, Linux operating system and Qt/Embedded, trying to make it different from the traditional frames in terms of function, capacity and operability. It focuses on the hardware circuit and the pivotal part of software which can successfully realize playing many formats of photos like magic lantern by the touch screen and audio files. The result of the experiment shows that the digital photo frame designed in the thesis works steadily, and it is easy to operate as well as it has strong expansibility. By adding some applications to the digital photo frame, it can complete many other functions.

Currently integrated network controller could implement data transmission through Internet. But commonly they have higher power consumption, fewer channels which could not be changed and less TCP/IP connection. A remote data acquisition technology based on embedded real-time operating system RT-Thread is presented in this paper. Server and client were constructed respectively according to TCP/IP protocol stack provided by operating system itself. Hardware circuit was centered with large capacity enhanced MCU named STM32F103ZET6. Ethernet interface chip DM9000AEP and network connection HR911105A were applied in our system. Socket API interface functions provided by RT-Thread were utilized in client and server software programs. Experimental results show that this system needs less hardware sources to implement more TCP/IP connections during remote data acquisition process.

This article presents a remote image monitoring System based on TD_SCDMA technology. This system takes Samsung’s S3C2440 as the processor and the LCD touch screen as the interface. It runs the Linux operating system and captures image information through the front camera. After dealing with image compression by the video capture and compression card, the SIM4100 module carries on the real-time transmission via 3G network, so as to achieve the purpose of remote image monitoring.

Wireless sensor networks can real-time sense, acquire and process the environmental information. Based on the research of the sensor node in grain storage temperature monitoring, the hardware circuit of the node is designed. And according to the feature of DS18B20 , multi-point temperature acquisition of grain storage is designed too. What’s more, based on the TinyOS operating system ,we design the temperature acquisition system for the grain storage monitoring.

To improve the level of informatization and digitization of catering industry, an embedded service terminal based on a combination of ARM, 802.11b WLAN wireless communication technology and touch screen technology is proposed. The terminal includes three parts, order system server, order system terminal and a part to display operating room .Mini2440 development board of the Friendly arm company is used as underlying hardware for the client. Plat of software is embedded Linux operating system. At the same time, USB wireless network card is connected to order system server. It provides a comprehensive solution for the catering industry’s fully digitization. Experiments show that system runs stably, has friendly interface.

The slowscan and TV signal of the Philips SEM 505 and the signal of a TV camera attached to a Leitz fluorescent microscope, were digitized by the data acquisition processor of a Masscomp 5520S computer, which is based on a 16.7 MHz 68020 CPU with 10 Mb RAM memory, a graphics processor with two frame buffers for images with 8 bit / 256 grey values, a high definition (HD) monitor (910 × 1150), two hard disks (70 and 663 Mb) and a 60 Mb tape drive. The system is equipped with Imaging Technology video digitizing boards: analog I/O, an ALU, and two memory mapped frame buffers for TV images of the IP 512 series. The Masscomp computer has an ethernet connection to other computers, such as a Vax PDP 11/785, and a Sun 368i with a 327 Mb hard disk and a SCSI interface to an Exabyte 2.3 Gb helical scan tape drive. The operating system for these computers is based on different versions of Unix, such as RTU 4.1 (including NFS) on the acquisition computer, bsd 4.3 for the Vax, and Sun OS 4.0.1 for the Sun (with NFS).
