An integrating, coordinating and optimization for experts’ evaluate opinion method according to naval ship evaluation case study is researched. Ship projects evaluation index system is proposed pointing at large surface naval ship, meanwhile the weights of index of experts’ opinion and ship projects are identified. After combining the actual demand of evaluation with the algorithm, a sequence deviation estimating method is formed for estimating the difference between individual and group opinions. Thus a naval ship evaluation platform is proposed which could integrate, coordinate and optimize expert's opinion effectively. Calculation shows this new method system, which mixed the numerical computing and computer iteration technology together, could meet the actual demand of naval ship evaluation commendably. Not only can it retain each expert's original preference, but also consistent the consulting result rapidly. Thus the new method has great applicability in naval ship evaluating progress, with the ability of solving conflict among the expert group.

When developing a user-oriented product, it is crucial to consider users’ affective needs. Various semantic differential (SD) methods have been used to identify affect regarding materials, and this is the most important property in products. This study aims to determine which of the three conventional SD methods (absolute evaluation 1 [AE 1], absolute evaluation 2 [AE 2], or relative evaluation [RE]) is most effective for affective evaluation. Affective evaluation was performed for vehicle instrument panels by each of these three SD methods. Two quantitative analysis methods (correlation analysis and repeated-measures ANOVA) were used to examine the performance (sample distinguishability) of each evaluation method, and it was found that both AE 2 and RE produced better results than AE 1. The correlation coefficients and p-values in correlation analysis were slightly better for RE than for AE 2. In conclusion, an affective evaluation produced better results when pairwise samples (especially one sample pair) were presented, indicating that maintaining distinct samples is very important. The clearer the difference in comparison targets is, the more accurate the evaluation results.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, social education has shifted from face to face to online in order to avoid large gatherings and crowds for blocking the transmission of the virus. To analyze the impact of virus on user experience and deeply retrieve users’ requirements, this paper constructs a reasonable evaluation index system through obtaining user reviews about seven major online education platforms before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, and by combining the emotional analysis, hot mining technology, as well as relevant literature. At the same time, the variation coefficient method is chosen to weigh each index based on the difference of index values. Furthermore, this paper adopts the comprehensive evaluation method to analyze user experience before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, and finally finds out the change of users’ concerns regarding the online education platform. In terms of access speed, reliability, timely transmission technology of video information, course management, communication and interaction, and learning and technical support, this paper explores the supporting abilities and response levels of online education platforms during COVID-19, and puts forward corresponding measures to improve how these platforms function.

As we all know, the degree of farmland immersion is affected by many factors such as soil moisture content, natural pore ratio, saturation, soil lithology and so on. However, the conventional submergence assessment method only uses the relative relationship between the depth of phreatic water and the rising height of capillary water to judge the degree of submergence, which is obviously unreasonable. Therefore, in this paper, a method of farmland immersion evaluation based on trigonometric whiteness weight function grey clustering is proposed. The physical properties of soil, surface soil lithology of vadose zone and groundwater level elevation are included in the evaluation index system, and the degree of submergence is classified, and then the weight function is constructed to determine the degree of submergence hazard of each observation point in the immersion area. Case study shows that the method is reasonable and feasible for farmland immersion evaluation.

Abstract Every port in Indonesia must have a Port Master Plan that contains an integrated port development plan. This study discusses one important aspect in the preparation of the Port Master Plan, namely the projected movement of goods and passengers, which can be used as a reference in determining the need for facilities at each stage of port development. The case study was conducted at a port located in a district in Maluku Province and aims to evaluate the analysis of projected demand for goods and passengers occurring at the port. The projection method used is time series and econometric projection. The projection results are then compared with the existing data in 2018. The results of this study show that the econometric projection gives adequate results in predicting loading and unloading activities as well as the number of passenger arrival and departure in 2018. This is indicated by the difference in the percentage of projection results towards the existing data, which is smaller than 10%. Whereas for loading and unloading activities, time series projections with logarithmic trends give better results than econometric projections. Keywords: port, port master plan, port development, unloading activities  Abstrak Setiap pelabuhan di Indonesia harus memiliki sebuah Rencana Induk Pelabuhan yang memuat rencana pengem-bangan pelabuhan secara terpadu. Kata-kata kunci: pelabuhan, rencana induk pelabuhan, pengembangan pelauhan, aktivitas bongkar barang

Japanese traditional cuisine “Washoku” was registered as one of the intangible cultural heritages in December 2013. “Washoku” contains and requires large amount of sugar, therefore, sugar is an important seasoning in taste. Japanese have been using many kinds of sugar such as Granulated sugar, White soft sugar, Brown soft sugar, White crystal sugar and Light brown crystal sugar according to application, for both home cooking and processed foods. Mitsui Sugar is focusing on the difference in taste of sugars to develop new attractive sugar products. With a sensory evaluation method, trained panelists could recognize the difference between these sugars though it is quite difficult to explain. Therefore one attempte624-627d to detect the taste difference in these sugars by using a taste sensing system. The system comes with a human taste model membrane and can analyze the density and balance of several tastes such as sweetness, bitterness, umami** and saltiness. The accuracy of the sensing system was evaluated by comparing the results against the sensory evaluation method by trained panelists. The sensing system was able to detect the difference in taste of Japanese sugars, and the results from the sensing system seemed to match with the ones from the sensory evaluation method. The results were plotted on a taste map. This map will be helpful not only in showing the difference between the sugars, but also in explaining the characteristics of the new products.

This paper elaborates on the key solutions offered by De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) to optimize the efficiency of cane sugar producing and processing facilities. In order to meet customer needs, DSEC offers proprietary predictive models built using the latest versions of specialized software. These models allow factory managers to envision the whole picture of increased operational and capital efficiency before it becomes reality. An integrated energy model and the CAPEX/OPEX evaluation method are discussed as ways to estimate and optimize costs, both for new greenfield projects and revamping of existing factories. The models demonstrate that factory capacities can be successfully increased using equipment that is already available. Special attention is paid to crystallization and centrifugation process simulations and the potential improvement of the global energy balance. One case study shows the transformation of a beet sugar factory into a refinery to process raw cane sugar after beet crop season and the second case shows the integration of a refinery into a cane sugar factory. The primary focus of the article is optimization of the technological process through predictive modelling. DSEC’s suggested solutions, which lead to great improvements in a plant’s efficiency and its ability to obtain very low energy consumption, are discussed.
