A safety network system is designed based on PROFIBUS-DP field bus, according to actual servicing work situation and control requirements for electric locomotive servicing work. The system realizes communication between first class master station and third equipment through using PROFIBUS-DP bus protocol. It also realizes interactive operation between slave station and non-contact IC card, meanwhile, slave station and MCU system. In addition, this article has analyzed the multi-task scheduling mechanism and data communication security on monitoring network system in detail as well. Results show that the system has higher application value through entire debugging and testing on network control system.

The design uses 32 ARM processor S3C44B0X and Spartan™ -3E500 FPGA chip produced by Xinlinx company for setting up the hardware platform, and integrates the camera, GPS module, MiniGUI interface module. And realized bus vehicle mounted multimedia transmission control network control based on MOST. All of these are in the purpose of achieving a Predigest Project of vehicle-bone multimedia transmission and control network based on FPGA. The experiment indicated that, the transmission and control network system constructed by S3C44B0X and Spartan - 3E500 FPGA is low cast, simple and reliable.

The home network is one of the emerging areas from the last century. However, the growth of the home network market is stationary at present. This paper describes the limitations of the home network system and the requirements for overcoming the current limitations. Also described is a new home network service system known as COWS and its easy installation and scalable operation. COWS consists of power consumption monitor and control devices along with a service server that is a complementary combination of Open Service Gateway initiative (OSGi) and web services. A home network system has a dynamic, heterogeneous, distributed, and scalable topology. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has been proposed as a solution that satisfies the requirement of a home network, and OSGi and web services are two successful SOA-based frameworks. An included service server has a flexible architecture that consists of a core and extendable service packages. A power consumption monitor and control function provides useful context information for activity-based context-aware services and optimizes the power consumption. The system can be installed easily into existing and new houses to solve the current barrier of the popularization of home network services.

In order to solve data lack of underground water research and monitoring situation, a wide range underground water lever dynamic information monitoring network system was designed. Remote monitoring terminal based on the techniques of embedded and wireless transmission monitored the change of underground water level; Monitoring analysis center based on the JAVA technology of B/S architecture was designed to inquiry the real-time data,set parameter and analyze data, etc. An approximate water level point was obtained by adopting the modified small period prediction model and the weight distribution method. This enhances reliability of monitored data. By utilizing the technology of GPRS wireless data transmission and Ethernet technology, a remote and real-time data transmission channel was build. Large area application in Shanxi Province shows that the system has the stable performance and the reasonable structure. System can provide long-term reliable data for underground water research.

A SSNS (simple sensor network sniffer) is used to analyze and evaluate the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) effectively. SSNS is designed to monitor IEEE 802.15.4 protocol frame, which based on the Ethernet. Unlike the existed monitoring system, our design is much simpler and needs less resource. It is analyzed in this paper that the monitor network framework, time synchronization, and analysis program design. The results show that SSNS works stably, and can real-time display the frame monitored and reflect the dynamic change of WSN.

In recent years, CPM - Continuous Passive Motion has been proved to be one of the most effective therapeutic methods for patients who have problems with motion such as spinal cord injury, ankle and knee injury, parkinson and so on. Many commercial CPM devices are found in market but all of them use motors as the main actuators. The lack of human compliance of electric actuators, which are commonly used in these machines, makes them potentially harmful to patients. An interesting alternative, to electric actuators for medical purposes, particularly promising for rehabilitation, is a pneumatic artificial muscle (PAM) actuator because of its high power/weight ratio and compliance properties. However, the highly nonlinear and hysteresis of PAM make it the challenging for design and control. In this study, a PID compensation using neural network control is studied to improve the control performance of the novel model of Knee CPM device.
