This paper firstly analyzes the problems that exist in the cold rolling of steel industry. Secondly, a new approach is proposed to temper and straighten the strip steel based on the temper leveling mill, shortly, TLM. The required high quality of the wave, surface and mechanical properties can be achieved only with TLM. TLM holds the functions of both temper machine and straightening mill and can produce good quality strip steel, no only the waviness, mechanical properties, but also the surface quality. The usage of TLM can lower the cost of the production of tempering, straightening and equipment investment. Finally, the experiments are done and verify the validity of the approach.

In order to guide atmosphere annealing process in industry, the effect of atmosphere and holding times on the surface quality and mechanical properties of the cold-rolling plate of Fe-42% Ni (4J42) was studied. It is found that in the laboratory, surface qualities of all the samples annealed at different annealing condition are all good enough. When the ratio of hydrogen and nitrogen is below 70%:30%, at different holding time, with increasing of H2 proportion, 4J42’s tensile strength and yield strength all increases, and the hardness declines. And except H2:N2=70%:30, when holding time is less than or equal to 1.2min, at different ratio of hydrogen and nitrogen, holding time will influence 4J42’s mechanical properties little. So combine requires in industry with the experiment results, it can be concluded that for 4J42 alloy, annealing at atmosphere of hydrogen nitrogen ratio is less than 70%:30% for about 1.2min is appropriate to atmosphere annealing process in industry.

It is well know that Ni-5at.% W(Ni5W) and Ni-9.3at.% W(Ni9W) alloy substrates are two kinds of promising materials to be employed in coated conductors. The Ni5W substrate is very easy to produce cube texture, while the Ni9W alloy has a lower magnetic property and higher strength. However, the pure cube texture are not capable to be obtained in Ni9W alloy. In this work, the preparation and texture development in both Ni5W and Ni9W alloy substrates have been reported. Highly biaxial textured Ni5W substrate was fabricated by cold rolling, followed by three different annealing routes. The texture analysis indicated that a sharp cube texture was formed after annealing at a wide temperature range of 800-1100°C in as rolled Ni5W substrate. The high quality of cube orientation was obtained after a two step annealing (TSA) with farthing twin boundaries analyzed by EBSD. Furthermore, in order to obtain a pure cube texture in Ni9W alloy substrate, a typical rolling process was performed and the deformation texture was optimized in these substrates. The designed deformation texture components were obtained in Ni9W alloy when pre-heating the ingot at 250 °C before performing a cold rolling, which shows a possibility to form cube texture in Ni9W alloy substrate after annealing.

Services in the field of radiology which are health support services also need to maintain and improve the quality of their services. Radiology is one of the supporting units of health services in establishing the diagnosis of a disease and also needs to maintain and improve the quality of services appropriately and safely, both for patients (users), radiographers (officers) and the community or the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the quality of radiology services at the Center for Community Lung Health (BBKPM) Makassar. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population is all patients in the radiology installation of the Center for Community Lung Health (BBKPM) with a sample of 158 people. The results showed that the quality of radiology services in terms of timeliness was categorized as very high, namely 91.86%. The cost of Thorax photo examination services is relatively cheap and affordable and the service waiting time reaches a fairly high-quality value of 86.79%. The information aspect reached a high-quality value, namely 85.97%. The technical executor of the Thorax photo examination is carried out by a radiographer and the executor of the diagnostic results is a radiologist (radiology specialist) who has achieved a fairly high-quality score of 97.15%. Aspects of Human Relations have reached a fairly high-quality score of 87.00%. Environmental Aspects achieved a quality value of 97.57%. It is recommended that the Makassar BBKPM management provide a complaint box (suggestion box) in the radiology room to evaluate services.

Diagnostics in the practice of a dentist is the key to quality treatment. However, depending on the quality of services provided, the cost of diagnostic methods is set. For a dentist working in a private office, the key to successful diagnostic measures at a high quality level is a priority. However, these methods are expensive for the patient. The purpose of this study is to study the impact of financial incentives on the quality of early diagnosis in the practice of a dentist who provides quality treatment. In the study, we studied clinical cases with full and partial study in terms of diagnostic and neglect x-ray diagnosis from the doctor and from the patient due to a misunderstanding of the importance and necessity of this manipulation. In statistical data analysis, the resulting regression models use a binary variable as a dependent variable on the level of financial costs. Thus, in the course of our research, we found that the number of x-rays significantly increases when dentists receive a fee for services, rather than a salary, and when patients are exempt from paying for additional diagnostic methods. Our results show that financial incentives significantly influence additional high-quality and complete examination of patients.

One of the most urgent areas of Russian health care is the organization of medical care in the new socio-economic conditions, aimed at providing affordable high-quality and safe medical care to the population, therefore, a new approach to the formation of control over both the quality of medical care and its safety is of particular interest. At all stages of the treatment and diagnostic process, serious mistakes can be made that can have a negative impact on the life and health of patients. The article discusses the methodological aspects of assessing the quality of medical care at all stages of the treatment and diagnostic process. Requirements for the formation of an expert opinion, which is prepared based on the results of the examination of the quality of medical care, have been formulated. In order to effectively manage the quality of medical care, the author proposes the creation of a digital “smart” system for monitoring defects in medical care.

Over the past several years the capabilities of personal computers have advanced at a staggering rate. At the same time, the cost of the hardware has dropped to such a degree that one wonders whether such inexpensive hardware can perform adequately. The purpose of this discussion is to look at the minimum hardware necessary to do quality stereo imaging on CRT display devices and to discuss several important evaluation criteria in producing these stereo images. The most important criteria for producing high quality stereo pairs lies in the quality of the digitization of the image. Most TV rate imaging systems even after multiple frames are averaged are quite distorted and lack sufficient image detail. Slow scan imaging systems such as the one developed in this laboratory which use a gated integrator and can digitize at over one thousand pixels square with 256 gray levels produce images which are extremely close to photographic quality.

A large testing programme of a strip steel HSLA grade, microalloyed by vanadium, titanium and niobium, was conducted. The experiment was based on combination of cold rolling, recrystallization annealing, mechanical testing, metallographic examinations and TEM analysis. Flat samples with thickness 3.9 mm were rolled in several passes with the total height reduction 5 to 75 %. Afterwards the laboratory mill products were annealed in the vacuum furnace with the protective gas atmosphere consisting of N2+H2. The annealed samples underwent the mechanical testing. The gained results – hardness, yield stress, tensile strength and their ratio, as well as elongation, were summarized in graph in dependence on relative height reduction before annealing. It was confirmed that by a suitable combination of size of previous cold deformation and parameters of the following recrystallization annealing it is possible to influence a complex of mechanical properties of particular strips. Particular trends of strength and plastic properties correspond to each other and they may be utilized for optimization of terms of heat treatment of the investigated HSLA steel in a cold rolling mill. These trends are caused by structure-forming processes (recrystallization, grain coarsening, changes of the state of precipitates) which were documented by micrographs.

While collaborative business modeling (CBM) constitutes a promising new approach for opening up a company’s innovation process, existing literature lacks empirical evidence of the effects related to this approach. Drawing on related literature on the quality of creative output, this paper proposes that in the context of a CBM initiative, the integration of customers will improve the quality of the generated output. As indicated by the results of our empirical evaluation, customers are indeed capable of developing high quality business models and are able to outperform company experts when it comes to the task of developing new business models.
