The status of the energy structure, the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth, the relationship between energy consumption and ecological environment in Inner Mongolia were analyzed. The study of energy structure in Inner Mongolia found out that coal accounts for a larger proportion of the energy structure in Inner Mongolia and Inner Mongolia's energy structure is unsafe. The main problem of energy security in Inner Mongolia is the large number of exploitation and use of coal and other fossil energy, it will pose a huge threat to ecological environment. The correlation analysis of the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth found out that there is a high positive correlation between economic growth and energy consumption, the formulation and implementation of energy policies in Inner Mongolia will have a greater impact on economic growth. This unreasonable energy structure has brought great pressure on energy security, economic development and environmental governance. Paper also gives some advices and proposals on optimizing energy structure and ensuring energy security.

Environmental issues have become an important problem must be faced, which can not be avoided during economic development. To improve the living and ecological environment, environmental monitoring plays an important role in maintaining rapid and sustained economic development. It can response to the phenomenon and trends of environmental management accurately and comprehensively, and provides the basis of pollution control and environmental planning. This paper briefly described the definition and importance of environmental monitoring, then analyzed the status quo of the environmental monitoring, and pointed some of the deficiencies in the presence of current environmental monitoring. Finally, this paper proposed some suggestions during environmental monitoring to provide reference for environment monitoring in China.

Tourist capacity and environmental capacity are significant considerations in the eco-tourism planning of wetland park for its sustainable development. Guaranteeing the quality of tourism resources and the conditions of ecological environment can obtain the best economic interest. This paper divided the study area into five areas according to the needs of the status quo and characteristics of planning and management. According to the actual situation of the wetland park, the land use index is estimated. And then the paper predicted the tourist environmental capacity of Futuan Estuary National Wetland Park based on the land usage index and square meter which will facilitate to take corresponding measures in the range of capacity and avoid overload of tourism environment.

China has one of the most serious air quality conditions in the world, with the main energy consumption and air pollution emissions coming from its industrial sector. Since 2010, the Chinese government has strengthened the governance requirements for industrial sector emissions. This study uses emission treatment as a new input on the basis of past literature, and employs the dynamic SBM model to evaluate the energy and emission-reduction efficiencies of the country’s industrial sector from 2011 to 2015. The study finds that the improvement in industrial sector efficiency is not only due to the optimization of the energy consumption structure and reduction of energy intensity, but also from investing inemission treatment methods that help cut emissions as an undesirable output. The end result is a positive effect on the improvement and sustainability of energy and emission-reduction efficiencies.

The Post War era has seen UK agriculture experience mixed fortunes. Following the scarred memories of food shortages farming experienced one of its regular cyclical booms in the sixties and seventies with guaranteed prices that pushed forward production to improve the level of self sufficiency demanded by the politicians. In continental Europe this encouragement was provided by the emerging Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) which Britain joined in 1973. The CAP promoted greater food production by different methods based on intervention buying at guaranteed prices when there were surpluses only to release the products back on the market at times of shortage. This system worked effectively while the periods of excess were smaller than the periods of surplus. The eighties saw the reversal of this pattern and the establishment of unacceptably high levels of intervention stocks of all major commodities. The system became unworkable and although the French and Germans fought to retain the status quo, the old CAP had become not only indefensible but critically not in the best interests of either consumer or farmer.

Modern urban water conservancy construction is supposed to keep "people and water in harmony" as the goal; the urban water conservancy project functions in flood control, drainage as its basics , meantime, it should also play social roles of ecological environment, landscape in the project. This article takes Heigangkou Reservoir ecological environment construction in Kaifeng as an example, briefly introducing the plane of its ecological management of the status quo, the revetment type design, and putting forwards some new ecological revetment structure materials and technologies.

According to the status of the energy consumption of central heating in north China, The energy consumption survey selected 20 heating stations in the north of China. The survey included heating area, fuel usage, heating type, energy consumption, and etc. The analysis of the survey result shows that the central heating has many problems, building energy consumption is larger, and there is a large potential for emission reduction in the north of China.

Attempts to adequately design an optimum HVAC airside system that furnishes comfort and air quality in the air-conditioned spaces with efficient energy consumption represent a great challenge. This paper presents a recent status quo of HVAC airside design for the air-conditioned spaces under holistic approach. The present review summarizes the current status, future requirements, and expectations. It has been found that, the experimental investigations should be considered in the new trend of energy investigations, not to merely to validate the numerical tools, but also to provide a complete database of the airflow characteristics in the air-conditioned spaces. Based on this analysis and the vast progress of computers and associated software, the artificial intelligent technique is sought as a prominent competitor candidate to the experimental and numerical techniques. Finally, the researches that relate between the different designs of the HVAC systems and energy consumption should concern with the optimization of airside design as the expected target to enhance the indoor environment. The present paper reviews the status quo and critically analyses the appropriate approaches to sustainability.

Over the past few years, China’s marine economy has been vigorously booming, while strong measures have been equally undertaken to ensure superior quality of the marine environment. However, the country is still suffering illegal fishing problems, which hinder the marine ecological environment and fishery resources from reaching sustainable development both internally and globally. To this end, the Chinese government has ratified a series of legal documents to provide the basis for judicial departments to hold individuals and groups responsible for practicing illegal fishing at sea. Although the measures have indeed performed well in some instances, a number of legal obstacles remain to be fixed. In this article, to realize the status quo of the control of maritime illegal fishing in China, all the criminal judgments relevant to illegal fishing at sea from 2014 were collected and analyzed not only qualitatively but also quantitatively, through which the existing problems of accountability for illegal fishing at sea in China were summarized. In addition, a number of related studies were examined and in-depth interviews were organized to clarify the main reasons for these problems and propose some necessary solutions. It is believed that our findings would not only help to improve the control of maritime illegal fishing and boost the marine ecological environment protection in China, but also to establish a possible reference for other countries in the world.
