Mesoporous cobalt doped aluminium oxide (Co/MAl2O3/RL) was synthesized using rubber latex as biotemplate by hydrothermal method. The synthesized mesoporous aluminium oxide samples were characterized by a combination of various physicochemical techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2adsorption/desorption and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). Espciallly, Co/MAl2O3/RL exhibited a high efficiency of acetaldehyde adsorption from mixed gaseous mixture.

S-doped Bi2MoO6 nanosheets were successfully synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), elemental mapping spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectra (PL), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and UV-visible diffused reflectance spectra (UV-vis DRS). The photo-electrochemical performance of the samples was investigated via an electrochemical workstation. The S-doped Bi2MoO6 nanosheets exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. The photo-degradation rate of Rhodamine B (RhB) by S-doped Bi2MoO6 (1 wt%) reached 97% after 60 min, which was higher than that of the pure Bi2MoO6 and other S-doped products. The degradation rate of the recovered S-doped Bi2MoO6 (1 wt%) was still nearly 90% in the third cycle, indicating an excellent stability of the catalyst. The radical-capture experiments confirmed that superoxide radicals (·O2−) and holes (h+) were the main active substances in the photocatalytic degradation of RhB by S-doped Bi2MoO6.

A series of Bi4O5Br2 photocatalysts were prepared via an innovation method of synthesis with ionic liquids (ILs). The crystal structures were investigated by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). The Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) images illustrated the unique structure of prepared photocatalysts. The photocatalysts were also characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra (UV-vis/DRS) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). The role of ILs in synthesis of Bi4O5Br2 on morphology and photocatalytic properties were investigated. Rhodamine B, 5-fluorouracil and chromium (VI) were used as the model micropollutants to evaluated adsorption capacity, photooxidation and photoreduction ability of prepared Bi4O5Br2 under artificial solar light. This work provided a new thought for enhanced photocatalytic activity of bismuth oxybromide photocatalysts.

Polyaniline (PANI) is synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization method. The, characterization were made using XRD (X-ray diffraction), FT-IR (Fourier transform spectroscopy), UV -vis (ultra-violet visible spectrophotometer) technique which confirms the synthesis of the Polyaniline. The surface morphology of Polyaniline was studied with scanning electron microscope (SEM).

Triethynylborazine-polyhydromethylsiloxane copolymers (TEB-PHMSs) were prepared through hydrosilylation reaction between -C≡CH attached to boron and ≡Si-H. The structures of TEB-PHMSs were characterized by Fourier transform Infrared (FT-IR) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Their cure behavior were examined by Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) and FT-IR, and then thermostability and ceramization of cured TEB-PHMS were investigated by Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), pyrolysis-GC-MS, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results indicated that TEB-PHMSs could be cured and converted into an outstanding thermostable SiBCN ceramics.

In this paper, regeneration of reed leaf fibers that have been degummed pretreatment in high temperature and pressure dissolved in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ionic liquids was studied. The samples containing 5% or 10%(wt/wt)reed leaf fibers in the ionic liquids, at 90°C for 7h.The dissolution process was viewed by polarizing microscope. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction were used to visualize the crystalline of reed leaf fiber transformed completely from cellulose I to cellulose Ⅱ after regenerated directly from 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride solution.

Zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) is synthesized quickly at room temperature in methanol with the support of ultrasound. Porous ZnO is also prepared via the thermal treatment of ZIF-8. The photocatalytic activities of the obtained materials are demonstrated via methylene blue (MB) decomposition under UV radiation. The obtained materials are characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DR-UV-Vis), and photoluminescence spectra. The results indicate that ZIF-8 and the materials obtained from ZIF-8 by heating in the air have photocatalytic activity under UV irradiation. The ZnO sample obtained by ZIF-8 calcination at 660°C for 5 h has the highest photocatalytic activity. However, the MB degradation photocatalytic efficiency of the ZnO samples is even lower than that of the ZIF-8 samples, indicating that ZIF-8 is an effective photocatalyst in the treatment of environmental pollution.

Telah dilakukan sintesis fotokatalis N/TiO2 bermofologi nanotube dengan metode anodisasi  menggunakan ammonium nitrat (NH4NO3) sebagai sumber dopan pada berbagai variasi konsentrasi (0,5M , 1M, 2M), dilanjutkan dengan kalisinasi pada suhu 4500C selama 2 jam untuk mendapatkan fasa kristal anatase. Karakterisasi dilakukan menggunakan Scanning Electron Miscroscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), dan DRS (Diffused Reflectant Spectrometry) UV-Vis. Pengujian Linear Sweep Voltametri dan Multi Pulse Anperiometri pada fotokatalis­ N/TiO2 telah berhasil diterapkan untuk degradasi senyawa Rhodamin B menggunakan sinar UV maupun sinar tampak. Aplikasi dari uji fotoelektrokatalisis menggunakan sinar tampak untuk N/TiO2-NT memberikan hasil eliminasi sebesar 47,86%, sedangkan bila menggunakan TiO2 nanotube tanpa dopan eleminasi hanya sebesar 25,49%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa proses doping yang dilakukan telah berhasil menyisipkan nitrogen kedalam matrik TiO2 nanotube dan memperbaiki kinerja fotokatalisis nya di daerah sinar tampak.

Abstract Two new coordination polymers, namely, [Cu2(L)2(4,4′-bpy)]n (1) and [Cd(HL)Cl(1,10′-phen)]n (2) (H2L = 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid, 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine, 1,10′-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized via solvothermal method and were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, elemental analysis and PXRD. The two complexes are both infinite 1D chain structures, in complex 1 the H2L ligands are completely deprotonated and chelating the metal centers, while in complex 2, H2L ligands play a role in chelating-bridging the metal centers. What’s more, the two complexes further extended to 3D supramolecular networks by hydrogen bonds and weak C–H⋯π interactions. The weak intermolecular interactions existed in the complexes structures were further studied by Hirshfeld surface analysis and 2D fingerprint plots. In addition, these two transition mental complexes exhibit high intense electrochemiluminescence (ECL) in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and after ten circulations the ECL intensity still remains stable, which can be a useful guide for the construct of new polymers ECL materials.

The double-layered hydroxide nano-particles compounds with ciprofloxacin drug were carried out by preparation of the double layered hydroxide (DLH) of M+3/M+2 ions for selective ions. The ciprofloxacin drug was inserted between them. The resulted compounds were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy; the antibacterial studied done by using the gram (+) and gram (-) pigments.
