This paper was written based on the testing of resistance to stretch & set and bond strength for 10 different kinds of automotive seating fabrics and their corresponding surface monolayer fabrics, according to the standard GMW3211FZT01034-2008/FZT70006-2004GMW3220. And the results indicated that, resistance to stretch & set of knitted automotive seating fabrics decreased and that of woven fabrics increased after composited; bond strength of fabric/sponge was higher than that of sponge/bottom, and bond strength of seating fabrics which had different structures were also different. Studying the performance of automotive seating fabrics had important implications on the production of seating fabrics, and the improvement of product quality and innovation in future.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine the influence of the loading velocity on textile bonds and sewn seam strength. Design/methodology/approach Commercially produced polyamide and polyester knitted fabric, and polyester woven fabrics as well as three commercially available monolayer urethane thermoplastic films were used in this research. Two layers of each fabric were laminated at 160°C temperature at 5.6 kPa for 20 seconds. Sewn specimens were joined applying (301) and (514) stiches for woven and knitted fabrics, respectively. The bond and sewn seam strength was investigated at different delamination loading velocities (50, 100, 150, 200, 300 mm/min). These values of velocities lies in the velocity interval which covers the different standard requirements for testing of the quality of textiles and their seams or were applied in the research works of previous scientists. As the influence of loading velocity was more significant for bond strength, the bond strength results were analyzed together with the analysis of bond rupture character. Findings The determined influence of the loading velocity on textile bonds strength has proved that the loading velocity in bond strength test is of high importance for the prediction of the behavior of clothing being in exploitation under different conditions. The opposite tendency was determined for the sewn seams, the strength of which was independent on loading velocity. Originality/value The influence of the loading velocity on textile bond and sewn seam strength was not analyzed in the previous research works published by other scientists. It was known that the standard velocity is 50 mm/min for seams and 100 mm/min for textiles strength testing. It was shown there that the real exploitation of a garment as a whole complicated heterogenic dynamic system could be simulated with changing loading velocities during their seam strength testing. It was also determined that the loading velocity makes different influence on bonded and sewn seams of textiles.

Abstract The paper presents an algorithm for the synthesis of the law of motion of the weft beat-up mechanism intended for the production of closely woven fabrics, which are currently manufactured mainly on shuttle looms. These machines have such disadvantages as significant dimensions, strong vibrations and noise during operation, as well as low performance. Shuttleless looms are devoid of such disadvantages. However, production of closely woven fabrics on such machines can face a number of problems, such as increased vibration, the machine tool turning off due to an increased beating-up strip and accelerated wear of mechanisms which, in turn, leads to a lower productivity and product quality. The conducted research allowed developing an algorithm for the synthesis of complex-profile cams of the slay mechanism drive. The use of the developed mechanism is theoretically proved and experimentally confirmed to provide the required performance and quality as well as to significantly expand the range of fabrics produced on STB shuttleless looms.

This research is conducted upon the emergence of many companies producing the same product of the same kind and function. It leads to the urgency of proper and well planned marketing strategy. This research aims to investigate how far the influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. This research utilizes 5 likert scale questionnaire which is tested by using multiple regression analysis to reveal whether or not there is partial and simultaneous influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. Sampling method is accidental sampling technique, in which sample of particular population is taken based on the accessibility and availability of the sample during the sampling process. Sample used is 100 samples among consumers or customers of Mang Endy Milkshake. The result shows that branding, product quality, and price influence consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business.

This study aims to analyze how strategic management in the Firta Collection Boutique to develop its business, especially in providing services to customers. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that includes Marketing Mix (4P Analysis) and SWOT Analysis, to find out what external factors are opportunities or threats to the Firta Collection Boutique. The results of the study show that the strategies adopted by the Firta Collection Boutique are still inappropriate and need to use other strategies. Changes in the external environment have continued to increase so that it is an opportunity and anticipates threats by utilizing strengths and minimizing weaknesses by innovating and improving approaches and gaining customer trust in product quality, in order to compete in the fashion sector.

The article surveys the literature that emphasizes the importance of comparative and absolute advantages for intra- and inter-industry trade. Two conclusions follow form the survey. First, unlike the traditional view, intra-industry trade is determined rather by technology than by increasing returns. Second, absolute advantages that have been ignored in international trade models for a long time play a vital role through their linkages with product quality and export diversification. We also discuss a new strand of literature that models international trade with the assumption of non-homothetic preferences.

In modern days for structures in coastal areas it has been observed that the premature structural failures are occurs due to corrosion of the reinforcements of the designed structural member. The corrosion causes the structural damage which in turn leads to reduction in the bearing capacity of the concerned structural members. The aim of this study was to study the effect of partial replacement of fly ash to minimize the corrosion effect. Beams were designed and corroded by using artificial method known accelerated corrosion method. The beams were then tested for flexural and bond strength. Also the weight loss of the reinforced bars was been determined using electrical resistivity method. The fly ash will replace by 10% and 15%.The strength will calculate at varying percentage of corrosion at 10% and 15%. Beams will cast at M25 grade concrete. The flexural strength will test by using UTM and the bond strength will calculate using pullout test.
