Noise protection of a building ́s interior is one of the fundamental functions of building constructions. These constructions can be understood as internal partitions, ceilings or external wall-/roof claddings. However, walls often consist of basic building materials and openings; such windows and doors as well as the acoustical properties of such structures are determined by both parts (e.g., a windows and the wall structure). The acoustical quality of opening is in general affected not only by the particular structure, but also by the concept of the mounting. Acoustical requirements should be applied in all its parts, such as the construction of the window (door) frame, window (door) wing and the realization of the functional gap as well as by application of a sealant. On the base of experimental measurements in Acoustics Chambers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Slovak Technical University and mathematical analysis we have determined index of sound insulation of free joint.

The structural complexity of a door causes difficulties in the description of its behavior from an acoustical point of view. In many cases, even a small change can cause a big difference in its sound-isolating properties. To determine the acoustical quality of a door, it is important to perform laboratory measurements of the door structure and door frame, the gaps including. A mathematical analysis based on experimental measurements of the sound reduction index of several door constructions was used to determine the acoustical door categories. The equations for calculating the sound reduction index, which were introduced in this paper, should help in the design of a suitable door from an acoustical point of view.

To full utilization of crushed straw in civil engineering industry is necessary to know its technical parameters. During previous projects on VŠB – TUO, Faculty of Civil Engineering have found parameters like settlement, thermal conductivity or airborne sound insulation. The research on these parameters have had favorable results, therefore the research is going on and other characteristics of crushed straw are finding out. These days the research team deals with determination of important fire characteristics of crushed straw. Fire characteristics play substantial character by building materials and their design in buildings. Nature materials are generally regarded as flammable. If some material is pressed, the same rule as in the phonebook – if you ignite one sheet of paper, it burns. But if you try to ignite the whole phonebook, it will be not so easy. This article is reported the first step of research on the reaction to fire. This is the preliminary classification of crushed straw into reaction to fire. The test was made according to methods which are described below. There are some changes in methods due to different structures of crushed straw.

Silt sintered insulating brick with high strength, good thermal insulation and sound insulation characteristics. It occupies an important position in the new building materials industry. The main equipment for production of silt sintered insulating brick is the vacuum brick extruding machine, the forming mold is the most critical part in it. The performance largely determines the quality of the brick. The structural design and other aspects of the forming mold are analyzed, and then systematically summarize the design and production requirements of the forming mold. The research status of the forming mold on vacuum brick extruding machine at domestic and abroad is reviewed. The main problems of forming mold are analyzed and the corresponding solutions are given, as well as the future developments of forming mold.

The essence of the considered problem is to improve line scale gauge calibration quality by studying vibrations that are induced during the calibration process. To assess the influence of vibrations it is necessary to solve a lot of scientific and technical tasks. Serious difficulties were confronted during the mathematical analysis - development of analytical model and determination of its coefficients. An in-depth analysis of line scale measurement means had to be performed to this aim, because only experimental measurements enabled to estimate the majority of coefficients.

The article outlines the mandatory quality requirements for manufactured and installed metal entrance shockproof doors, which should ensure the safety of life, health and property of citizens. The main technical features of these designs and their characteristics are presented. The problem of quality control is considered, since quality is a guarantee of reliability and a guarantee that doors will serve for a long time and reliably. The installation of high-quality "armored" doors will not only protect housing from unauthorized penetration, but also help to isolate the premise from the external environment; therefore in the problem of selecting entrance metal doors, an important place is occupied by the issue of heat and sound insulation. While choosing a good metal door, every detail should be taken into account. The quality of the goods and safety of the premise directly depend on all design components. The article raises such a topical issue as the establishment of quality works on manufacture, storage, transportation and mounting of entrance metal shockproof doors while performing forensic construction and technical examination. The technical characteristics of building materials that can be used in this case are presented. The authors also pointed out that it is very important to resolve disputes on this type of researches, so this is the availability of technical documentation. All data about the product should be included in this documentation up to the information on transportation and storage, since this information will much facilitate the work of experts in the future. After all, the establishment of the quality of this type of products is a fairly complex and time-consuming process. While determining the quality, all details are important, starting from the quality of the used building materials, the works on manufacturing of the door blocks, their storage and transportation conditions, and finishing the placing (mounting).

Construction Engineering is very important part of Civil Engineering. We can’t think about a good and stable structure without good quality of construction. And the construction materials is also play an important role for any construction work. Construction engineering is a professional discipline that deals with the designing, planning, construction and management of infrastructures such as roads, tunnels, bridges, airports, railroads, facilities, buildings, dams, utilities and other projects. Civil Engineering is a related field that deals more with the practical aspects of projects. Construction engineers learn some of the design aspects similar to civil engineers as well as project site management aspects. Construction Engineers are heavily involved in the design and management/ allocation of funds in these projects. They are charged with risk analysis, costing and planning. Many types of building materials are used in the construction industry to create buildings and structures. KEYWORDS: Construction materials as like Brick, Stone, Cement, Lime-stone, Lime, Water, Reinforcement Steel, Wood etc.

Along with the high-speed development of China's construction industry, building materials as the material basis of civil engineering construction, the quality of building materials is directly related to the quality of construction projects, so the good building materials quality, particularly important to detect and control work. In this paper, combined with the author's working practice, discusses how to do detection and control the quality of building materials should pay attention to the problem.

With the rapid development of economy in China, building technology has been improved and innovated in recent years. Urban development cannot be separated from buildings. However, China’s land resources are limited and cannot meet the increasing housing needs. More and more real estate companies have shifted their investment focus to high-rise building projects, which are more complex and require a lot of building materials than lower-rise building projects. In recent years, with the optimization and upgrading of technology, the requirements of high-rise buildings are getting higher and higher, and the technical operation is becoming more and more difficult. In this case, appropriate methods must be taken to control the technical quality of civil engineering.

AbstractBackgroundRNAs to be used in transcriptome analysis must be of high quality and pure in order to ensure maximum representation of the expressed genes. RNA isolation is difficult in hazelnut tissues containing large amounts of secondary metabolite, phenolic compounds and the cell wall structure. Commonly used protocols for RNA isolation are those that require a lot of labor and time and also do not allow sufficient RNA isolation when applied to tissues rich in phenolic compounds. This study was aimed to develop an efficient method for isolation of total RNAs from bud of hazelnut to be used in RNA sequencing.Materials and methodsAn optimized new method was successfully applied on three different hazelnuts genotypes (Çakıldak, Palaz, Tombul) and about 25 times higher amount of total RNAs per mg fresh tissues were obtained compared to classical CTAB method. Different methods have been tried for the isolation of RNA from hazelnut tissues and the determination of the quality of the obtained RNAs.ResultsThe quality and quantity of isolalated total RNAs were determined by spectrophotometer, electrophoresis and PCR. This success has been caught without any compromise of purity since A260/A280 ratios ranged from 1.90 to 2.04 and A260/A230 ratios were >2.0 in all purified RNAs.ConclusionThe total RNAs isolated with new protocol was found to be suitable for RNA sequencing and other molecular applications.
