ABSTRACT Background The context for specialty residency training in pediatrics has broadened in recent decades to include distributed community sites as well as academic health science centers. Rather than creating parallel, community-only programs, most programs have expanded to include both community and large urban tertiary health center experiences. Despite these changes, there has been relatively little research looking at residents' experiences in these distributed graduate medical education programs. Objective A longitudinal case study was undertaken to explore the experiences of residents in a Canadian pediatrics residency program that involved a combination of clinical placements in a large urban tertiary health center and in regional hospitals. Methods The study drew on 2 streams of primary data: 1-on-1 interviews with residents at the end of each block rotation and annual focus groups with residents. Results A thematic analysis (using grounded theory techniques) of transcripts of the interviews and focus groups identified 6 high-level themes: access to training, quality of learning, patient mix, continuity of care, learner roles, and residents as teachers. Conclusions Rather than finding that certain training contexts were “better” than others when comparing residents' experiences of the various training contexts in this pediatrics residency, what emerged was an understanding that the different settings complemented each other. Residents were adamant that this was not a matter of superiority of one context over any other; their experiences in different contexts each made a valuable contribution to the quality of their training.

Accelerating the introduction of a new technological package is needed to increase the productivity of high elevation puddled rice in Humbang Hasundutan. The objectives of the study are to find out the perception of the existence of technological packages and farmers' preference for a new technological package. The study used a survey method with primary data gathered using questionnaires. The criteria of locations and respondents were used to obtain relevant respondents and data concerning their knowledge of high elevation puddled rice cultivation.  The collected data were processed by using Importance Performance Analysis in order to find out the level of Importance and Satisfaction of the indicators and the valued aspects in the technological package components. The results of the study showed that the socio-economic aspects had to be heeded in organizing the technological package. Indicators having a high level of importance and a low level of satisfaction consisted of production cost, quality of seeds, farmer groups empowerment, technology information institution, capital cost, agricultural tools and machines, pest control, sales price, irrigation canals, and farm roads. On the other hand, introducing new superior seeds, productivity attribute and planting age were important indicators for local farmers as to improve the quality of existing seeds. Farmers group expected that the technological package had a high level of productivity, better access to input, low cost, and good user-friendliness in its application.

This study is carried out in Mexico with an objective to analyse empirically the role of education in a transforming services marketing strategies of the firms. The study is carried on in Mexico through pragmatic investigation among the consumers subscribing to the communication and entertainment services. The analysis of primary data is developed around the theory of action that demonstrates the skills and confidence of individuals or groups towards making decision in acquiring or hiring services to improve their quality of life. The results of the study reveal that knowledge acquired on the services and value perceived by the consumers play key role in determining the intentions to purchases services. This study meticulously rows several arguments on how consumers with high level of education scrutinize the benefits offered by the firms marketing their communication and entertainment services, and build their value propositions on the services bought or contracted.

Continuous improvement of service quality is one of the important keys in facing the era of globalization which implies that services must be carried out according to standards and meet quality rules that are oriented to the interests of consumers. With these programs and facilities, it is hoped that the community will no longer be reluctant to seek treatment at the Puskesmas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the quality of health services on the satisfaction of inpatients at the Sei Mencirim Health Center.This research is a survey research, conducted at the Sei Mencirim Health Center. The population was all patients who were hospitalized at the Sei Menistrim Health Center in January-July 2021 totaling 74 people and the entire population was taken as a sample. Primary data obtained from interviews and secondary data in the form of inpatient data. The hypothesis was tested using the Multiple Regression test.Based on Bivariate analysis revealed that there was no effect of physical evidence on patient satisfaction. There is an effect of reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy on patient satisfaction.The most dominant variable affecting patient satisfaction is empathy.                Considering that empathy is the dominant variable affecting patient satisfaction, puskesmas need to improve quality individual service and patient family time for consultation is met.Keywords: Service Quality, Patient Satisfaction, Puskesmas Sei Mencirim

Cold chain for vaccines a is a system for storing and transporting vaccines at very low temperatures to maintain their effectiveness before use. Because vaccines are sensitive biological substances, their exposition to high temperatures directly affects the quality of vaccines and safety of immunization. The goal of this study was to assess the safety of cold chain for vaccines within the cold chain system in two services of Health Center Novi Sad. Cold Chain Monitors (CCM) and Freeze Watch (FW) indicators were used. A total of 155 (94.5%) Cold Chain Monitors (CCM) and 100 (95.2%) Freeze Watch (FW) indicators were analyzed. Only one CCM showed a breach in cold chain. A total of 3 CCMs indicated risk of vaccine wastage. A total of 9 CCMs were colorized without risk of vaccine wastage, FWs were positive in a high percentage in both services of Health Center Novi Sad. FWs were exposed to low temperatures during transport. Statistically significant differences in the number of exposed CCMs to high temperatures and the number of exposed FWs to low temperatures were observed in these two services. A statistically significant difference in number of FWs exposed to low temperatures was observed in regard to the period of transport and the period of storage at the vaccination stations. The study shows high level of safety of the cold chain in two services of Health Center Novi Sad. Cold Chain Monitor is a reliable indicator of the quality of cold chain for vaccines. Freeze Watch is a reliable indicator of the quality of cold chain during storage of vaccines, but not during their transport.

The purpose of this study was to find out what aspects were related to the quality of service at the Lut Tawar Health Center to the Satisfaction of Outpatients in Central Aceh Regency. The research design used in this study was Cross Sectional. The population in this study was 7,507 people and the samples taken by accidental sampling were 99 people. Data collection methods are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is a binary logistic regression test. The results showed that the physical condition had a sig-p value of 0.004 < 0.05, reliability sig-p 0.004 < 0.005, and a sig-p guarantee of 0.030 < 0.05, which means that it has a relationship with the quality of health services, while responsiveness has no relationship to the quality of health services because it has a sig-p value of 0.173 > 0.05 and concern has no relationship to the quality of health services because it has a sig-p value of 0.893 > 0.05. The most dominant aspect related to service quality is the variable of physical condition p = 0.004 <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between physical condition, reliability, and assurance on the quality of Community Health Center (puskesmas) services, while the responsiveness and caring variables have no relationship to the quality of puskesmas services.

Abstract Background Implementation of the Norwegian government’s Coordination Reform (2012) aims to decentralise health care services from centralised hospitals to local communities. Radiological services in Norway are mainly organised in hospitals, because of the significant financial and human resource demands engendered by the need for advanced technological equipment, and specialised staff. Some selected conventional x-ray services have been decentralised into rural communities. The purpose of this single case study was to highlight experiences from different stakeholders’ of organiseing decentralised radiological services in a rural area in Norway. Methods A qualitative single case study design was adopted, collected data using focus groups with healthcare professionals and managers to obtain stakeholder’s experiences of the radiological services in this rural area. The key emergent themes from the literature, decentralisation, quality, professional roles, organisation and economic consequences were discussed with each focus group. Thematic analysis was used for analyzing the primary data collected. Results Four main themes emerged from the focus groups: 1) organisation, 2) quality and safety, 3) funding of radiological services and 4) cooperation between health care professions and health care levels. It was found that the organisation of decentralised radiological services to rural areas is challenging because of the way health services are structured in Norway. The quality of service was found to be inadequate in some areas because of the superficial level of training given to non-radiographic staff. The experience is that the Norwegian funding system hinders an efficient decentralised health care service. Effective cooperation and responsibility between health care professions and levels was challenging. There needs to be improved co-working by clearly defining roles and responsibilities. Conclusions A key recommendation for the organisation of rural radiological service was the development of a satellite link with an acute hospital. Quality of the service could be improved and should be given priority. Structural change to the financial system whereby money follows patients, might also facilitate more patientcentred services across healthcare levels. Improved mutual understanding between rural radiological services and hospital specialists and managers is important for a high quality and consistent radiological service to be delivered across Norway.

Based on Basic Health Research 2018, showed that children with aged 12-23 months who did not get complete basic immunizations in South Sulawesi were 31.7%. There are still different understanding in society about immunization, so there are still a lot of babies and toddlers who do not get immunization services. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of mother's knowledge with basic immunization in infants at the working area of Public Health Center Kassi-Kassi Makassar. This study was an analytic observational study with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted at the working area of Public Health Center Kassi-Kassi Makassar with a sample of 55 mothers who had a ³9 month old baby who were selected by accidental sampling. The research data was obtained through primary data from interviews and checking the KIA book. The results of this study indicate that 60% of respondents have less knowledge level with incomplete infants basic immunization status and 40% with complete infants basic immunization status, 11.1% of respondents have sufficient level of knowledge with incomplete infants basic immunization status and 88,9% with complete infants basic immunization status and 100% of respondents have a high level of knowledge with complete infants basic immunization status. The results of the analysis using the Chi-Square test obtained a significant value of 0,000 (p<0.05). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the level of mother's knowledge of basic immunization in infants at the working area of Public Health Center Kassi-Kassi Makassar.

Visitors to events attach great importance to the range of artists and their performances and the quality of their stay and services. To create a staging and, consequently, an emotionalization of the visitor, many action areas simultaneously take effect at an event. In this context, the customer satisfaction of visitors plays a major role for event organizers, which aims to generate a competitive advantage over other providers and be attractive for artists simultaneously. This article aims to analyse the perceived functional quality of service (QoS) during various events in a multi-purpose event venue. The analysis was based on 563 primary data samples. On the off chance, selected visitors were during the events recruited and interviewed using a standardized questionnaire. The data were collected during the break of five events. These events took place in the period from mid-November to mid-December 2019. This was supplemented by an online survey of enthusiastic fan club visitors who regularly watch handball matches within the event venue. The online survey was conducted in parallel with the surveys during November 2019. Overall, the results showed a high level of satisfaction among visitors regarding the QoS. In addition to services, exploratory factor analysis identified cleanliness as a satisfaction factor that significantly accounted for overall service satisfaction. Differences in the perception of both factors could be detected between the fan club visitors on the one hand and all other visitors of various events (comedy, music, sports) on the other. Based upon the results of this analysis, the event managers of this venue are enabled to employ target group-oriented improvements of individual services to consolidate and increase customer satisfaction. This study examines the quality of the paratransit service and its operations in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, with a view to identifying its challenges and contributions to informal transport and equitable service distribution to the residents of Aba. Structured questionnaires and past literature were used as sources of data. The primary data included road networks, number of trips per day by operators, operating speed, and purpose of travel, passengers' security, tricycle speed, and waiting time. The study was conducted by using two questionnaires: one for the operators and the other for tricycle users. The total number of completed questionnaires for the survey was 100 for operators and 229 for users. The sampling technique used was random sampling from several zones of the study area. Data were analysed using percentage and Chi-square statistical techniques for testing the hypotheses with the Minitab 11.0 version package. The study found that 92% of operators reported a high level of road network deterioration, and 61% reported making 9-12 trips per day. The hypothesis test was used to study people's feelings about the attributes of the service provided for paratransit users, such as affordability, regularity, comfort and safety. It was found that there is no significant difference at the 5% level between the various categories of these respondents.
