The article presents an analysis of the draft «Main directions of the unified state monetary policy for 2021 and for the period 2022–2023» of the Bank of Russia, aimed at finding out whether the designed monetary policy will contribute to solving the main problems of the Russian economy. Leaning towards a generally negative answer to this question, the authors of the article, firstly, establish that some of these problems, including problems whose solution falls within the direct competence of the Bank of Russia, and which, accordingly, fall within the subject area of the regulatory instruments available to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, are clearly insufficiently worked out in the document or, worse, only simply indicated. Unfortunately, this also applies to the key reproduction tasks associated with ensuring rapid, sustainable and high-quality economic growth. Secondly, they fix the year that began in March 2021 new round of increase in the key rate of the Bank of Russia. Third, they emphasize the fact of the negative synergy of the Bank of Russia’s tight monetary policy and the Russian Ministry of Finance’s tight budget policy, designed for the period up to 2023. The article substantiates the need for a coordinated approach of financial regulators and agencies to solve the problems of overcoming the crisis and stimulating economic growth.

The paper studies the relationship between inflation and economic growth. The subject of the research is the correlation between price dynamics and economic growth in the context of two main approaches – Fischerian and Schumpeterian – that describe such a relationship. The methodological and theoretical basis embraces the advances in the field of inflation of the neoclassical and Keynesian economic schools. The research method is the construction of an econometric model that allows identifying the effect of such a policy as inflation targeting. The study proves that in the Russian economy, there is no obvious relationship established between inflation and the product created, that is Fischer’s growth model, where inflation has to be suppressed to stimulate growth, is not justified. The developed analytical model of the relationship between inflation and the growth rate achieved when introducing a tough regulation – the targeting rule followed by monetary authorities – confirms that the targeting policy is indifferent to the ratio of aggregate supply and demand. Pursuing this policy can push up costs and heighten inflationary pressure. This method to control inflation is rather ineffective as the actions aimed at lowering inflation will produce the opposite effect fueling it. We conclude that, if targeting is used as a sort of anti-inflationary policy, the target should be altered to the situation and at least be put within certain limits to enable the economy to adapt to the dynamic change in the rest of its parameters.

From one discussion of the concept of Business Network, this study makes a theoretical and empirical analysis of a case of a formed network for the modular consortium of the Volkswagen Trucks and Bus - operations of the South America. Between the main discussions, two sources of rationalization had been evidenced for the theorization on networks: the logic and the strategical one. Characteristics and effects of the Business Networks had been proven from these sources. Also, it had been proven the position and power of negotiation between members of the network. It was observed that as the form to think, the business network is formed to explore businesses on the basis of the logic, or, it is constituted to compete based on the thought or strategical reasoning. The competitive power of the network formed from the strategical reasoning was evident when the competition is between groups that operate in the same branch and sector. The main contributions of the study are to explore the subject and to look for extended discussions.
