Abstract This article examines the role of women in Hobbes's economic thought. First, I frame Hobbes's economic thought in relation to his philosophical materialism so as to underscore the extent to which Hobbes's materialism entails the insight that human beings are, by definition, productive, economic creatures. I argue that his description of the economy, even without explicit acknowledgment, necessarily positions women as crucial economic actors. I then consider the implications of this in relation to the feminist possibilities of Hobbes's gender politics. I conclude that when deliberating on this question, we face the same conundrum that is evident in all literature considering Hobbes and gender. His radical comments about women in the state of nature are undermined by his seeming indifference to the state of women in commonwealths once they are founded.

Allah is the creator of all universe and human beings as being crown of creation are bound with the ties of love, and unity. No one can survive alone. So man wants to live in groups and these groups form a society. Islam gives much importance to women, honored her. Women contributed a lot in the welfare of a society. It is a woman who born and brings up great personalities to work the great for the progress of a society. Status and historical role of women in society is undeniable. This article deals with meritorious contribution of women in the welfare of society. The women with true Islamic spirit and awareness of all the preaching and teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah can serve the society in the best manner. At the advent of Prophet ﷺ the women were treated as a slave, deprived of her rights. Islam gave the woman their due right, Respect and Honor and woman contributed a lot in all the field of life especially in Education. An educated woman is the blessing for a society. So woman should perform at their level best for the welfare of the society being a mother, a sister, a wife being within the limits of Islam. Women were seen as wives to cook and take care of kids but now it is realized women should have some different type of role like holding position in governments, doing job at top level, and doing business, so it proves their presence outside the kitchen and laundry. So this article discusses role and responsibities of women in the light of Islamic teaching.

This paper describes the role of women in unifying the nation associated with Islamic perspectives. The role of women in various sectors of the nation's life is an urgent need. Many things women can do for the benefit of nation and state. Women have been suggested as male subordination, marginalized and difficult self-actualizing well. Patterns of power and status that assume that men are higher than women are very influential on the pattern of gender relations. Not a few policies and regulations are born on the perception. It is therefore not surprising that in the community there is a gender ideology that seeks to fundamentally dismantle policies and regulations that are not considered gender-sensitive. Cultural context always puts women as second class people. Women are more required to fulfill obligations regardless of rights, used to struggle to become human beings who exist in their community. Such social construction makes women more patient, testable and istiqomah in the fight for peace, harmony and unity mission.

Human beings are deeply related to land. Human beings take birth on land, live on land, die on land and mixes with land ultimately. As stated in the holy Quran: ‘We (Allah) created you (human beings) from the soil, we shall make you return to the soil and We shall call you back again from the soil’ (20:55). Human life is surrounded by soil i.e. land. So, land is a highly completed issue of human life involving economic, social, political, cultural and often religious systems. Land administration is thus a critical element and often a pre-condition for peaceful society and sustainable development. In administrating land, Khatian or record of rights plays a vital role to determine the rights and interests of the respective parties as supportive evidence. In this article, discussion is mainly made on the fact that Khatian or record of rights is not a document of title solely but it may be an evidence of title as well as possession. This article examines the role of women in raising criminal actions of homicide before the central criminal court, in early modern Scotland. In doing so, it highlights the two main forms of standing women held; pursing an action for homicide alone and as part of a wider group of kin and family. The evidence presented therein challenges our current understanding of the role of women in the pursuit of crime and contributes to an under-researched area of Scots criminal legal history, gender and the law.

Seventy Years after its proclamation, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, despite not having a binding force for the states, still provides at international level the fundamental text from which the principles and the values for the preservation of liberty and right of people are taken. In this article, the author particularly underlines the importance of Declaration’s article 1, which states: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights”. With these words the Declaration presses states to undertake economic policies aimed at achieving economic and social progress for all individuals. Unfortunately, we also have to underline the lack of effective social policies in government programs of the E.U. Member States. The author inquires whether it is left to European judges to affirm the importance of social welfare.

Corpo-Mente. Mundo 3.Abstract: In this work, we present a discussion about knowledge and the theory of the three worlds in which the interaction between them approaches to the truth of the mind-body problem, in view of a proposed solution. The third world is an important piece in this work. Therefore, we will analyze what Popper describes as World 3, what it is and the role of language as a differential of human beings. We present Popper’s criticisms to the monistic and dualistic currents, daring to criticize the theory of traditional knowledge. Thus, the proposal of science presented by this philosopher differs from everything that was being done until then. This explains the interest in presenting this unusual approach to Popper. Keywords: Knowledge. Body-Mind. World 3. REFERÊNCIASLEAL-TOLEDO, Gustavo . Popper e seu Cérebro.
