In the 2016-2017 academic year, an update of the education system and its content was introduced in Kazakhstan.  Updating the content of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan sets itself the main goal - improving the pedagogical skills of teachers in the context of updating the educational program and introducing a system of criteria-based assessment. The article discusses the features of the updated content of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, containing aspects of building knowledge acquisition based on Bloom's taxonomy. Here we have discussed: the details of taxonomy levels; a new structure of educational programs; the main differences from previous versions of educational programs compared to the updated version; criteria for assessing formative assessment; the tasks for the summative assessment of primary schoolchildren in English for the section and for the quarter; an example of a descriptor for assessing the mastery of knowledge in English lessons; the principle of the spiral approach in the preparation of programs within the framework of renewed education; the advantages of a training program using the spiral principle; Using the updated version, education should become competitive, high-quality, and, therefore, such that graduates of the Kazakh school can easily continue their studies in foreign universities

Currently, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Mozambique (MISAU) is developing a Project to strengthen the technical and pedagogical skills of health teachers at the training institute (FORSA-MZ), supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The aim of this project is to prepare teachers for a decentralization process. In this context, Media Literacy is recognized as an essential area to promote the critical view of citizens to be able to contribute to the assessment of a democratic society. In this society, citizens should be able to access the mass media critically and to express themselves via this media, as producers. In this context, an educational program was designed to support the teachers’ improvement of skills in using different media in the classrooms in the Republic of Mozambique. This program was developed in 15 different health training institutes by JICA and MISAU. Data were collected for the analysis of pre and post questionnaires, interviews and the materials produced during the courses (comics, photonovels, videos, for example). The results showed that the decentralization of pedagogical tool production and teachers’ empowerment were an important achievement of this educational program, and the media literacy is supporting them to develop their autonomy. The study was conducted on the basis of an analysis of educational programs (architectural design, landscape design, architecture, urban planning) for applicants entering higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the 2020 academic year.

Abstract The poor international competitiveness and the debatable language competences of the English language teaching staff educated in the Republic of Macedonia impose the need to revise the framework of higher education requirements for this profession and educational programs implemented by higher education institutions in the first place, as well as the professionalization of already existing staff. In this process, the main challenge resides in raising the operational level and standardization of the profession, followed by harmonization of national descriptors with the Common European Framework of Languages.

This study evaluates the effects of extended year programming for individuals with severe handicapping conditions. Over a 2-year period, summer educational programs were provided for a portion of the available population in a large Canadian city. Data were gathered before the beginning of the educational program, at the end, and at times within the subsequent academic school year. These data suggest that students enrolled in summer programming gain an equivalent or greater amount of skills per amount of time as that gained during the regular school year. In addition, these skills are additive to those gained during the regular academic year.

Distance education, a new teaching method widely-spread in higher education nowadays, requires the extent use of multimedia self-study educational programs besides the traditional means and methods.Experience shows that besides certain types of software like encyclopedias, dictionaries, language manuals etc. there is an ever growing demand for appropriate educational programs that can be tailor made, adapted or modified for various kinds of students.These programs reflect the teacher’s approach to the subject and contain the relevant, up-to-date information.Since they are used in a relatively limited circle, usually within a faculty of an institution or within a single subject area, it is crucially important to be able to produce them with as little energy and time as possible.There is a PhD research program, aiming at creating a flexible multimedia framework, that can be a possible solution to the problem. This framework can be easily filled with different teaching materials compiled by certain teachers without advanced knowledge of informatics. The framework itself is carefully designed and guarantees high quality.

The article examines the experience of developing and implementing relatively new for higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan foreign joint educational programs. The factors contributing to their development, the problems arising during the implementation of programs are determined, and indicators characterizing their general trend are studied. As a result of studying the Geographical distribution of joint educational programs, implemented by higher education institutions of Uzbekistan with foreign partners, share of joint programs organized by specialties, of the geography of the countries that have established joint educational programs with Uzbekistan, the influence of the Uzbek mentality on the success of the implementation of programs are provided scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations for the development of joint educational programs with foreign universities.

Subject. This article deals with the issues of social justice and a high quality of life, creating favorable economic and social conditions. Objectives. The article aims to assess the rate and changes in poverty in Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan and develop complementary measures to reduce it. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of logical, comparative, economic and statistical analyses, the results of sociological studies, and official statistics. Results. The article highlights additional measures to reduce poverty in the region, including the establishment of a minimum social standard of living in each particular region that determines the poverty rate. Conclusions. Various factors, such as economic sanctions, economic slowdowns, territorial and regional imbalances, lead to living standards decline and poverty rise.

Introduction. The article deals with the training of professional educational program managers for work in the digital environment of a university. The digital environment of the university is considered from the perspective of managing professional educational programs and is a complex open system that integrates system components for managing content, process, resources, contingent, finance and quality of programs that ensure the integrity and continuity of the educational process at all levels and in all respects. The implementation of a digital model for managing educational programs at a university on the basis of a single digital ring of services for an electronic platform for managing educational programs at a university dictates the need for digital competencies of managers of major professional educational programs (OPOP).By digital competence of the leaders of professional educational programs we mean the ability and willingness to perform labor functions in the design, implementation and replication of an educational program using digital technologies that ensure the effectiveness of activitiesThe way to identify professional deficiencies in the field of digital competencies of the leaders of professional educational programs was the personalized design of educational internship trajectories with tutorial support for the internship. The internship trajectory of the heads of OPOP has a modular structure and is aimed at eliminating professional deficits in the field of information, methodological, communication, technological and organizational component of digital competencies. The internship site (virtual laboratory) is a virtual educational space that provides training for educational program managers and online events: hackaths, quests, webinars, etc.Materials and methods. When writing an article, the following methods were used - theoretical and methodological analysis and synthesis of available special domestic and foreign scientific and methodological literature, conceptual analysis of scientific articles and publications on the topic; study and generalization of both domestic and foreign developments and implementation of projects to create digital environments in education management; application of generalization, comparison, forecasting methods, online surveys.Results. The structure of the digital environment for managing professional educational programs at the university is presented. Functionally described is the ring of digital services for the management of OPOP. The analysis of different approaches to assessing the digital competencies of educators is presented. The concept of digital competencies has been clarified in relation to the head of a professional educational program. The content of the components of digital competency is described: informational, methodological, communication, technological, organizational.Discussions and Conclusions. The developed modular program for eliminating professional deficits of heads of professional educational programs in the field of digital competencies, based on the personalized design of educational internship trajectories with tutorial support for internships, will allow you to effectively administer and manage BEP in the digital environment of the university.

Abstract Background Trainees may not always be comfortable providing frank feedback or constructive criticism to their Program Director (PD) due to fears of negative repercussions. PDs likewise may lack the means to obtain high quality feedback from trainees, particularly among smaller training programs, e.g. fellowships. An ombudsperson is defined as an independent appointee whose task is to investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and problems. Methods The PDs from Infectious Disease (ID) and Endocrinology fellowships partnered to meet with fellows from the opposite program. Meetings were held with fellows in December and June of the academic year. Each PD started their meeting with 2 questions on a 1-10 scale: How do you rate the fellowship program? How do you rate the job the PD and program leadership are doing? Additional questions covered the fellow evaluation process, faculty feedback, education vs. service balance, and gaps in training. Additional time was allotted for fellow-raised concerns. Meeting notes were summarized anonymously and returned to the PD of the other program. Fellows were asked to complete a brief questionnaire about their experience. Results A total of 15 fellows completed the survey (6 Endocrinology, 9 ID; Table). All 15 fellows agreed that the goal of the ombudsperson review meeting (i.e. to address fellow concerns in a more confidential setting) was achieved and were comfortable sharing concerns and feedback to the ombudsperson. The majority of fellows (53%) was more comfortable sharing concerns regarding the fellowship to the ombudsperson than directly to the PD. Thirteen (87%) agreed that concerns raised during the first ombudsperson meeting were addressed by the Program in subsequent months. All fellows (100%) found it helpful that the ombudsperson was another PD and recommended that the ombudsperson review meetings should continue in the fellowship. Table. Characteristics of participants and outcomes of questions about fellowship ombudsperson program Conclusion The fellowship PD ombudsperson meeting is a novel means for soliciting constructive feedback from trainees at small training programs. Fellows were comfortable with the ombudsperson arrangement, felt the meetings achieved their goal, and recommended that the meetings continue in the future.
