This paper aims to make an empirical analysis of the impact of international competitiveness on China and Mongolia's transportation service trade. First, calculating the RCA competitiveness index, China, Mongolia and some developed countries are compared and analyzed, and then an empirical analysis of the main factors influencing China and Mongolia transportation service trade is conducted, and it is concluded that the port freight export volume increased by 1%, China-Mongolia port freight export volume increased by 0.798%. When the opening of the transportation service industry in China and Mongolia increased by 1%, the export value of the transportation service trade increased by 1.232%. Therefore, the port exports of the two countries have a positive impact on the international competitiveness of the transportation service trade and the opening degree of the transportation service industry in China and Mongolia.

Abstract Population growth, increased economic welfare, and Indonesia's unique geographical location increase the "tendency to travel by air transportation". Based on these conditions, air transport is a fundamental and efficient way to connect almost 240 million Indonesians, and people in other parts of the world. However, like other service sector, trade barriers in the air transportation service is implemented through government policies through regulations. This condition causes the regulations to be barriers because they increase transaction costs charged to consumers in the form of higher service prices. This study aims to (1) estimate the tax-equivalent of NTBs and (2) analyze the impact of eliminating regulatory barriers in the air transportation service within the scope of ASEAN and ASEAN FTA Partners. Using the gravity model, this study identifies that the trade barriers of air transportation services in ASEAN and ASEAN FTA Partners are still relatively high at between 0 - 11.2 percent. Using CGE's IC-IRTS model, GTAP simulation shows that the results of this study are consistent with pro-competitive theories. Greater gain is obtained from the CGE model, which uses the assumption of IC-IRTS compared to PC-CRTS. Assuming IC-IRTS, China will reap greater benefits as indicated by its highest increase in welfare. JEL Classification: F13, F15, F17

Background: In a number of countries, buses are a critical element of public transportation, providing the most inclusive and sustainable mode of transportation to all forms of citizenry, including staff and students of universities. Objectives: The study examines the determinants of satisfaction with campus bus transportation. The article is primarily discursive and based on the synthesis of existing service literature supported by data obtained from a survey of 847 respondents.Method: Structural equation modelling is undertaken using AMOS 19, allowing for the examination of compound relationships between service engagement variables. Results: Results show statistically significant differences between perceived service quality and travel routes. The authors argue that managerial attention to service user experiences does not only hold the key to ongoing competitive success in campus transportation services but also that those services can be significantly enriched through greater managerial attention to the interface between risk of financial loss (which increases when the campus bus transportation service provider becomes less able to compete) and service quality. Conclusion: The authors argue that if providers of campus bus transportation services are to rise to their service delivery challenges and also maintain or improve upon their market positions, they must conceptualise their services in a manner that takes into consideration the two-way interrelationship between risk of financial loss and service quality. It must also be noted that, although this study may have relevance for firm–firm scenarios, its focus is primarily on service supplier firm–customer service engagements. Keywords: Modelling; Transportation; Service
