Empowerment fosters employee’s creativity, quality of work-life, spirit of teamwork and organisational effectiveness. organisations do not only need to empower employees but should also encourage empowering leadership. Empowering leadership connotes the sharing of power and motivating employees to crave for superior performance. This paper focuses on literature in the employee empowerment and empowering leadership contexts. Considering the role people play in organisations, it is important to understand the impact of employee empowerment and empowering leadership on organisational outcomes. The author used historical data and findings from previous studies to draw insight on the subject. Based on our review, it was observed that employee empowerment fosters employee performance, job satisfaction, organisational commitment, customer satisfaction, productivity and business growth. Empowering leadership have been examined from the structural and motivational theoretical perspective. Several studies lend credence to the positive influence of empowering leadership on employees’ psychological empowerment. The author proposed some recommendations for managers to implement

In fact, the work performance of employees does not match the expectations of an agency, and they still encounter low employee performance. As a result of low employee performance, the impact on agency productivity decreases and cannot meet the targets set by the agency, so that the agency suffers losses and experiences obstacles in its development. Meanwhile, for employees who have low work performance, it will hinder the career development and income of the employee.Descriptive analysis is a research method that provides an overview regarding situations and events so that this method intends to Base data accumulation applies.From the results of the analysis with the number of respondents as many as 63 people, the following conclusions are drawn: 1) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in Simalungun Regency Agriculture Office. 2) Leaders are expected to improve the promotion appraisal system based on performance and work results. 3) Maintaining the current good condition of employees, who are able to work hard to get awards, a well-developed family atmosphere and an interesting and challenging work atmosphere has been created.

The good recruitment program can provide a positive influence to increasing employee commitment, productivity and the quality of work including performance. The relationship of employee retention on performance is exceedingly complex. There is evidence that performance can decrease if the employee retention is bad and there is a possibility of stagnation if employee turnover is too dejected. Besides recruitment and employee retention, the labor relations can also affect the employee performance, where the problems usually arise from the difference of work, age and demographics. Research will be conducted to examine, whether there is a significant impact on recruitment, employee retention, and labor relations to employee performance on batik industry in Solo. The results of this analysis indicate that the recruitment, retention, and labor relations found a significant effect on employee performance. On the other hand, the recruitment and employee retention found a significant effect on employee performance. As well as recruitment and employee retention, labor relations found significant effects to the employee re-tention. The results also found the recruiting and employee retention have a significant impact on employee performance through the labor relations. As well as the recruitment significantly influence on labor relations through the employee retention.Keywords: Recruitment; Employee Retention; Labor Relations; Employee Performance.

Abstrak: Peran Motivasi Dalam Memengaruhi Quality Of Work Life Pada Kinerja Karyawan. Tujuan penelitian: (1) Dampak Quality of Work Life pada Motivasi kerja karyawan; (2). Bagaimana dampak Motivasi kerja pada Kinerja karyawan? (3).Dampak Quality of Work Life pada Kinerja pada karyawan? This study aims to determine and to analyze the direct effect of quality of work life on the work motivation, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of quality of work life on the employee performance, and the indirect effect of quality of work life on the employee performance through work motivation. The sample were 162 employees obtained by census sampling technique. The data used was primary data generated from  distribution of questionnaires. Hypotheses were tested using path analysis. The results found  that there is a significant direct and positive influence of quality of work life on work motivation, there is a significant direct and positive influence of work motivation on performance, there is a significant and positive influence on the quality of work life on performance, there is a positive and significant indirect effect of quality of work life on the employee performance but the effect is not as strong as the direct effect.This study has both theoretical and practical implications. These findings are able to reinforce previous studies on the study of quality of work life, motivation, and employee performance. In addition, this research gives input to the management of PT. Bank BCA to maintain quality of work life aspects and motivation in the business to improve the employee performance.

Quality of work life is the major factor to be considered in working environment of any organization. The performance of employees and the organization lies on the ability of the employees based on working environment. The QWL leads to better working environment which improves the performance of organization. The present study has made an attempt to find the level of factors causing QWL and the impact of outcome of QWL in banks. Since the profile of the banks may be associated with the level of outcomes of QWL, the present study has made an attempt to examine it with the help of one way analysis of variance and t-test. The included outcomes of QWL are job satisfaction, job stress, organizational climate, organizational commitment, employees retention behaviour, service quality employees and service productivity of employees. The highly associated determinants of QWL and the significant difference among the PUSBs and PRSBs have been noticed. The significantly associating important profiles of the banks regarding the existence of outcome of QWL are identified.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis menginterprestasi kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, Quality of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Perilaku Pada Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftip analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. dan metode analisis yang digunakan Analisis Path/ Path Analysis. Data diperoleh dari Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar dan Responden adalah karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menemukan bebe-rapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar, antara lain Kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Quality of Work Life dan Perilaku. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ter-hadap perilaku karyawan. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karya-wan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan.  This study aims to examine, analyze leadership interpretation, job satisfaction, Quality of Work Life Against Employee Performance Through Behavior at the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City. This research is a descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. And the analytical method used is Path Analysis. Data obtained from the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City and respondents were employees. The results of this study can find several factors that affect employee performance in the Makassar City Dynasty Hotel. These include leadership, job satisfaction, quality of work life and behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior.

South African psychologists have identified the improvement of quality of life as a major goal of the 1980s. This paper reviews the impact of satisfaction with personal aspects of life on perceived well-being. The results of an exploratory study of South African quality of life conducted among 5 587 individuals of all population groups are discussed. Findings confirm the salience of the personal domain and the positive influence of personal satisfactions on subjective well-being. However, results of regression analyses suggest that the relative contribution of satisfactions in the personal domain is too low to play a major role in improving the quality of life of all South Africans in the longer term.

The e-commerce business has now developed rapidly, the impact of development is that the number of prosuct varies and easily earned. The ease of such information will result in consumers will be more consumptive infulfilling their needs, even they tend to make impuse buying. As one of the emerest e-commerece in Indonesia, Lazada should be able to see this as a great opportunity in as effort to increase the company’s sales and sustainability. One effort in increasing impulse buying is of external factors ranging from the promotion and quality of websites that are launched on e-commerce bussines. This study aims to know and prove how much influence promotion and website quality to impulse buying e-commerce Lazada in Padang City. The samples were taken using Cochran formula with 100 respondents. This sampling technique is based on nonprobability sampling method. The type of data used in this study is primary data. Data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis technique using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Promotion has positive influence and significant effect toward impulse buying e-commerce Lazada in Padang city (0,014 < 0,05). (2) Website Quality has positive influence and significant effect toward impulse buying e-commerce Lazada in Padang city (0,046 < 0,05)Keyword: promotion, website quality, impulse buying.
