How to turn an «individual project» into a driver of personal development of high school students?

As a dynamic transformation of the economy, companies put pressure on universities and other educational suppliers to deliver the labor force with new knowledge and skills required, to ensure their innovation and competitiveness. Because of these dynamics, students are also under pressure when they must decide about future jobs. There is also confusion in the mind of young adult that needs to bear the influence of public media, social media, online communities about the personal development in regional, national, or global environment. In this case, universities and high schools have to inform about trends and perspectives of future career and support students in their choice but they lack of communication capabilities or marketing aspects are overestimated. Our study is based on an online survey with more than 500 participants from Mures county high schools during the 2018-2019 academic year. Most of the student wants to continue their study at university 83,2 %. As a preferential channel of information about university programs students voted as very useful, university websites and meetings with representatives of faculties. The main fields students interested in are: business, engineering, informatics, medicine, public administration and law. Around 13.4% of the high school students intend to continue their study abroad. Almost half of the respondents have clear idea of study program to be chosen. Regarding the influence factors of their choice, family and acquaintances who are already university students have the higher impact rather than colleagues, friends and professors. When referring to criteria for choosing the future university, they favor the number of tax-free places and international mobility. Generally, we can say that students consider university the most important next step in their future career and they proof themselves rather independent to decide about this step. Our study also emphasizes significant levels of indecision and we will deepen our further research for better understanding of the phenomenon.

At the present stage of society's development, there is an increasing need for highly qualified specialists who are ready for continuous updating of knowledge and skills, solving research problems in their professional activities. In this regard, one of the important tasks of the implementation of educational programs is the achievement of a high level of research competence by graduates. Teaching mathematics opens up unlimited opportunities for the development of the intellectual sphere and research skills of schoolchildren. However, the insufficient development of pedagogical technologies focused on the implementation of psychodidactic patterns of research activity development is a negative factor that prevents the realization of the developing potential of mathematical disciplines. The article presents the author's approach to the organization of research activities of high school students, based on the idea of integrating the process of educational cognition and modern digital technologies. As a key aspect of personal development in teaching mathematics, we consider the activity of mastering complex knowledge in the course of performing ordered, forming a single motivational and applied integrity of the complex tasks of a research nature, in the process of which there is an active mastery of knowledge, deeper penetration into the essence of mathematical concepts,methods, ideas. At the same time, intelligent management of research activities of high school students is carried out within the framework of using the functionality of a hybrid learning environment that integrates the functions of artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, expert systems, providing individualization of learning, synthesis of mathematical and computer modeling of the content of knowledge and procedures. The paper describes the content and functionality of the basic modules of the intellectual learning system, describes the theoretical, methodological, and technological aspects of the organization of research activities of high school students to master complex mathematical knowledge.

The article discusses the regulatory and organizational aspects of the implementation of individual project by senior high school students. This type of activity, according to the federal state educational standard of secondary general education, is mandatory for students in grades 10-11. The goal of an individual project in the form of educational, research and project activities is the improvement of the ULA and the achievement of metasubjective educational results by high school students. At the level of general secondary education, the formation of a project, the methods and methods of its implementation by the senior pupils is possible. In the curriculum should be provided for the implementation of the individual project students. It is carried out by students for one year or two years as part of the study time specifi cally set aside by the curriculum in the part formed by the participants in educational relations. An individual project can serve as an addition to the curriculum of a particular profile.

The article is devoted to the current issues of modernity in the formation of a socially successful personality of a high school student with gender socialization. From the standpoint of a disciplinary approach, the author outlines the specifics of the concepts of «success», «successful personality», analyzes the features of gender policy in Ukraine based on the implementation of international regulations and national legislation to ensure equal conditions for the general secondary education implementation. Equal rights of schoolchildren, counteraction to any forms of discrimination. The reflection of scientific achievements and the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment allowed the author to determine the connection between the psychophysiological features of adolescence and the understanding of high school students of the concepts of «social success», «gender». The author formulates working definitions of concepts: «socially successful personality of a high school student» is «the implementation of the process and the result of achieving goals in various activities, which is an indicator of self-efficacy at the individual and social levels»; Under the gender features of the formation of the socially successful personality of high school students means «actions and results of consolidation of educational and pedagogical efforts of teachers, parents, family, relatives, the public aimed at successful personal development, encouragement, development and recognition of the subject of educational process in all spheres of public life, adherence to democratic values, egalitarianism, counteraction to all forms of discrimination».

Introduction. The authors investigate the problem of high school students’ ideas about future time perspective, which reflect the level of their personal development and the ability to solve life and professional problems independently and creatively. The purpose of the study is to identify the structural and content features of high school students’ ideas about future life perspective taking into account different levels of personal maturity. Materials and Methods. Ideas about future time perspective were considered based on the concepts of the event-situational approach and the personal-time arrangement of future time perspective. The following biographical and psychodiagnostic methods were used to collect empirical data: E. Korzhova’s ‘Psychological autobiography’; The Twenty Statements Test (TST) by M.Kuhn and T. McPartland; A. Miklyaeva’s ‘Scale of personal maturity self-assessment’. Methods of mathematical statistics were used to analyze the quantitative results of the research. Results. The authors summarize the findings of the theoretical and experimental study of high school students’ ideas about their future time perspective. The structural components of the ideas have been clarified, their functions in building future time perspective and regulating social activities of high school students have been determined. The study reveals the distinctive features of students’ ideas about future taking into account different levels of personal maturity in such aspects as event-richness and extensity of life perspective, its emotional coloring, concretization, and relationship with various aspects of personal maturity. The key content characteristics of the students’ ideas about future reflect their experience of self-identity and awareness of changes. Their important function is to regulate high school students’ activities, aimed at the implementation of life plans. The level of personal maturity affects structure and content of adolescent ideas about future time perspective. Conclusions. The structure of high school students’ ideas about future time perspective includes a number of components that determine future well-being, socialization, and self-fulfillment. The principles and ideas, which have been developed as a result of the research, can be transferred to teachers' and psychologists' work with problems of life and professional self-determination of high school students. The article reveals the features of the upbringing of the determination of senior pupils in the process of physical education. Therefore, we carried out a theoretical analysis of the studied category and found that decisiveness is a volitional quality of a person, a conscious desire, which consists in the urgency of realizing a set goal and ways to achieve it. The age characteristics of senior pupils in the process of physical education are analyzed and it is found that this age period is sensitive in terms of upbringing of determination. We also found that modern students in grades 10-11 lack interest in physical culture classes, which leads to defective physical and personal development, and the like. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of the educational process depends on the use in institutions of general secondary education of a set of pedagogical conditions, content, types and methods (interactive) tested in practice, which are aimed at fostering the determination of high school students and other important personal qualities. The article considers that determination is one of the strong-willed qualities that are quite actively developed in the process of physical education and has an invaluable impact on high school, as it covers not only his physical sphere, but also spiritual and emotional. It is worth noting that in the process of physical culture during the study of exercises improves the physical abilities of the student and develops his moral and volitional qualities. It is established that senior school age is the most important period of development in a student's life. During this period, the morphological maturation of the organism ends and there are important changes in his personality, psychological and social maturation.
