Dental disease is one of the many health problems Complained of by the people of Indonesia. Dental health is a reflection of human health. Lack of knowledge and limited sources of information on oral health have the caused public awareness to maintain oral and dental health is still low .. The development of one of the fields of information technology namely artificial intelligence has been Widely applied in various fields of life. In this study, the dental and oral disease expert system uses the Dempster Shafer method to control inferences that Contain thought patterns and reasoning mechanisms used by experts in solving problems.

Dental and oral disease is one of the diseases that has been felt by most of the people. Insufficient information and the limited level of public awareness of the prevention of dental and oral diseases make the impact quite dangerous if not handled properly. An appropriate information system is needed in overcoming and providing solutions for handling a disease as early as possible. Expert systems can be used as a means of information on the treatment of dental and oral diseases. The manufacture of the expert system in this study initially used the forward chaining method, which is a method that searches based on information that is made into a set of rules so as to get a conclusion. However, after re-analysis, two other methods, namely certainty factor and dempster shafer, were also applied in this study with the aim of overcoming the shortcomings of the forward chaining method, one of which is uncertainty in producing a conclusion or diagnosis of disease. Determining the type of dental and oral disease can be known by looking at the symptoms experienced by the patient. The use of an expert system for diagnosing dental and oral diseases can be used as an initial solution in helping someone to treat the disease. The existence of this expert system can be used as consideration in making decisions to determine the type of dental and oral disease quickly, precisely and accurately.

The use of polluted Citarum River water can cause various diseases, including diarrhea, skin diseases, respiratory infections, etc. This study examines the causes of Citarum River pollution in terms of how residents care about environmental conservation aspects of the Citarum River. The researchers used qualitative methods using questionnaires to explore public perceptions. This method explores four perceptions covering four main aspects: public perception, community participation, socio-economic community, and sanitation waste aspects. Questionnaire analysis with a bivariate statistical test approach and Cronbach's alpha test has the advantage of being able to clearly describe the updated condition of the Citarum River because the data can be justified. After all, it has a high level of confidence of around 95 percent. The results showed that in terms of public perception of the Citarum River, 68% were good, while in terms of community participation in preserving the Citarum River, 26% of the people also participated well, and 32% participated moderately in the maintenance of the Citarum River. As many as 42% of the community consisting of 27% less participate and 15% do not participate. The results of the questionnaire Socio-economy of the Citarum River community are classified as having a fairly good economic condition 59% and a moderate category 41%. The waste and sanitation questionnaire results showed that public awareness about waste and sanitation was also high. 45% percent of the community has a good awareness of the environment around the Citarum River, and 38% have sufficient awareness.

Pagbanganan River is a river system that traverses several barangays in the city of Baybay. The river is important to the communities because of its various ecological uses. At this time, however, it is facing major threats which affect its water quality. This study was conducted to find out how the people living near the river utilize the water resources and to determine some economically important biological resources derived from the river. River-related problems, tradtional practices, superstitious beliefs and their perception on water quality were assessed. Personal interviews were conducted to gather data on household charateristics, water usage and assessment of water quality. The communities residing near the river for food and other services. Fish, shrimps, crabs and snails are among the many biological resources derived from the river. Most residents considered the river as important to them. Respondents generally believed that the river's water quality has been slowly deterioration. Overall findings suggest the need to raise public awareness on water quality issue to increase people's understanding and encourage them to adopt practices that can sustain the river's health.

The eye is the important senses. If the eye is disrupted and ignore it, it will disturb the sufferer. In fact, many people delay to checked eye diseases suffered, due to the lack of knowledge society, the cost is quite expensive and the imbalance between patients and doctors so that should be queued if  will check the eye health. It is necessary for the expert system that can diagnose eye diseases, so a layman can be checked their eye diseases suffered without having to go to the doctors. This expert system is based on web with the programming language PHP and MySQL database. In the process of withdrawal conclusion, system using the certainty factors methodthat use a value to assume degree of confidence from an experts to a data. Expert system provides results in the form of the possibility of illness suffered, the value of the percentage of beliefs from the illness and the treatment solution based on the value of confidencethat given. So it can help the people to know the eye disease their suffered and the action can be done faster

Tooth decay in children is one of the most common problems found. This damage has a long-term effect on children's dental health. The limitation of expert doctor's service hours and the disproportionate number of doctors and patients makes the service to patients not optimal. Then we need an expert system to help the role of expert doctors in diagnosing tooth decay. One of them carried out treatment or prevention measures from the start. In this study forward chaining and certainty factor methods are used, in which this expert system can assist an expert in diagnosing tooth decay based on the symptoms experienced by the patient. The forward chaining method will be collaborated with the certainty factor method to calculate the accuracy of the type of tooth decay experienced. The use of these two methods aims to provide better results in overcoming or preventing tooth decay in children. From the test results obtained knowledge for patients in dealing with or preventing tooth decay with an accuracy rate of 91.20%. The application of an expert system can be used for early action in overcoming or preventing tooth decay in children.

Health is one of the essential human requirements in addition to food, housing and education, because only in a healthy state humans can live, grow and work better. Numerous people who are less concerned about health, especially on oral and dental health because of dental and oral diseases can strike anyone and anytime. Certainty factor is a method to prove whether a fact is certain or uncertain in the form of metrics that are usually used in expert systems. This method is just righ for expert systems that diagnose something uncertain. Dempster-Shafer is a mathematical theory for evidence based on belief functions and plausible reasoning, used to mingle separate pieces of information (evidence) to estimate the probability of an  event. Thus, appear a problem on how to make expert system with  two comparison of certainty factor and dempster-shafer methods on the expert system diagnosing dental and dental diseases. The objective of the research was to contribute a solution by building an application that can determine the dental and mouth disease fast and efficient. It is hoped that this application can be developed into another cases so that it extend the insight of smarthphone based java program.

Fungal skin disease is a type of disease that is often suffered people in the tropics. Phenomena in the community often assume that this disease will heal by itself. However, if left the effects of fungal skin disease can worsen the sufferer condition. The importance of early detection and treatment is very necessary, but this requires patients go to hospital or doctor so that patients spend a lot of time and money. For this reason, was build an android expert system with speech to early diagnose fungal skin diseases. From this initial diagnosis will save time and money and provide alternative prevention for sufferers. The method used in this study is the Certainty Factor of 20 patients. The accuracy of the test results to the system compared to the results of the doctor's diagnosis is 95%. So that, this expert system can be an early alternative in diagnose fungal skin diseases in humans.

Until now, cancer is one that suffered by the people of Indonesia, especially in cervical cancer (cervix) suffered by Indonesian women. Not only cervical cancer suffered by Indonesian women, but also other diseases that attack the female reproductive organs. Such diseases, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, vaginal cancer, ovarian cysts and myomas. To prevent the number of deaths of patients, of course the initial diagnosis as one of the solutions. As used in this study in development an early diagnosis system of female reproductive cancer. This expert system adds value to the technology to assist in the handling of an increasingly sophisticated information age. This Expert System Application generates an Update that enables patients who suffer from symptoms that are felt by the patient. This system is also a result of the necessity of women suffering from cancer experienced by patients. The amount of trust value is the result of calculation using Certainty Factor method.
