This study has been conducted to find out the technological gap in recommended cultivation practices of the cabbage growers in order to understand the extent of the difference between the traditional and non- traditional practices practiced by the local farmers in the district. The aforementioned study was conducted at Kuhuboto block in Dimapur district of Nagaland in the year 2021. A descriptive research designed was applied for this study. The primary data was collected from 120 respondents by personal interview method using pre-structure interview schedule. After the analysis of the data, it was observed that, maximum number of the respondents (55.83%) were having medium level of overall utilization of information sources and majority of the cabbage growers (62.50%) belonged to medium level of over-all technological gap category. It indicates that a sum number of the population had incorporated the new technologies while others have still yet to adopt and use the new recommended cabbage cultivation. The socio- economic variables associated with the respondents, such as education and training exposure were positively significant with the extent of adoption of improved package of practices of cabbage cultivation. The above results compel the research and extension system to work on the gaps in a pragmatic way.

This study has been conducted to find out the knowledge of the respondents towards recommended pineapple production practices. The study was conducted in Keirao Block in Imphal East district which were selected purposively. A descriptive research designed was applied for this study. The primary data was collected from 120 respondents which were selected randomly by personal interview method using pre-structure interview schedule. It was observed that, maximum number of the respondents were having medium level of extension contact, a medium level (65.83) was found in regards to the knowledge of the respondents. The Study indicates that a sum number of the population had incorporated the new technologies while others have still yet to adopt and use the new recommended pineapple cultivation practices. The socio-economic variables associated with the respondents, such as age, land holding, education, annual income and mass media exposure, extension contact and personal contact were positively and significantly associated with the overall knowledge of the respondents. The above results compel that the research and extension system to work on the gaps which will improve knowledge of the pineapple growers of the area.

The present study is an attempt to assess the socio-economic characteristics and utilization level of source of Information in improved cultivation practices of sugarcane by the farmers of Gonda District in Uttar Pradesh. Sugarcane cultivation is not prominent in this area however a large number of farmers cultivate cash crop, due to availability of information or communication channel about package of practices. Primary data from 120 respondents were collected through face to face interview. Descriptive research design had been followed for the present study. Random and Purposive sampling had been used for the present study. Farmers had a highest utilization of information by friend, neighbor and relatives (83.34%), followed by radio i.e.75%.Majority of (48.33%) farmers had medium level of utilization, followed by 29.16% of farmers had high level utilization about improved cultivation practices of sugarcane.

Pulse cultivation is not prominent in this area however a large no. of farmers cultivate leguminous crop, due to availability of information or communication channel farmers were receiving proper information about practices. Primary data from 120 farmers were collected through face to face interviews. Descriptive research design had been used for the present study. Random and Purposive sampling had been used for the present study Farmers had a highest utilization in Friend, neighbor and relatives (83.34%), Followed by radio whose utilization percentage by farmers were 75%. 48.33% of farmers had Medium level of utilization Followed by 29.16% of farmers had high level utilization about improved cultivation practices of pulses.

This study has been conducted to find out the working conditions of Ao Naga tribal women in different farming activities in the district of Mokokchung. The aforementioned study was conducted in Tuli Block at Mokokchung district in the year 2021. A descriptive research designed was applied for this study. The primary data was collected from 120 respondents by personal interview method using pre-structured interview schedule. After the analysis of the data it was observed that, maximum number of the respondents were having medium level of extension contact and a medium level percentage was found in regards to the attitude of the respondents.

Okra (Abelmoschus esculentusL.) also known as Lady’s Finger is an economically important summer vegetable crop that belongs to the family Malvaceae. It is known to have originated in tropical Africa. The crop is quite popular due to its easy cultivation, dependable yield and resistant to drought & water logging adaptability to varying moisture conditions & soil types. (Maurya et al., 2013). the major findings are 74.16 percent of the respondents have knowledge on soils that are Loose, loamy soils are required for Okra cultivation, followed by 64.16 percent of the respondents are saying that they cultivate Okra crop throughout the year. Okra plant produces fiber by 20.2 to 7.2 percent. (Chauhan 1972) East-godavari district of Andra pradesh state was selected purposively based on the maximum farmers’ availability. Descriptive research design was used for the present study. A total of 120 respondents were selected purposively as a sample for the present investigation. The data was collected by using pre-tested schedule and analyzed using appropriate statistical tools. Karl Pearson’s Co-efficient of Correlation test was applied to find out the association between farmers socio-economic profile with independent variables. It was concluded that the socio-economic status of the respondents constitute medium level. It was observed that majority of the respondents belonged to the high level of perception and towards improved okra cultivation practices. There was a positive and significant relationship between independent variables with dependent variables.

<p><em>Regional development based on spatial will form a pattern due to the character that develop in it. The pattern can be formed by the network, hierarchy, and so forth. The influence of policies that encourage development to bring new activities in the region is also capable of bringing changes. As a rapidly growth strategic area established by the district government, Kartasura District has variety of new activities. This research is used to know how the development on regional form of Kartasura District as a rapidly growth strategic area. It uses longitudinal development method with analytical approach used is deductive and quantitative descriptive research type. The compilation and analysis techniques used are primary data collection (observation) also secondary; Descriptive statistics, GIS and overlay, breaking point. The result of this research are the development of Kartasura sub-district as rapidly growth strategic area which is formed pattern based on the network also the limitation of development as a result of supporting policy causing the difference internal development on Kartasura District.</em></p>

Purpose- This study focused on establishing the influence of voting in elections on responsive governance in Kenya. Its main objective was to establish the influence of voting in elections on responsive governance in Kenya. Methodology- Descriptive research design and positivism research philosophy were adopted. The study focused on a target population of 680 respondents from Eighty-five wards within Nairobi County, and data was collected from the following groups of respondents; Civil society representative, religious representative, ward administration representative, youth representative, women representative, the special interest group representative, a representative of the citizens’ anticipating county services and a representative of the old aged residents were targeted. A sample size of 139 respondents was determined though purposive sampling technique. Primary data was collected through questionnaires and secondary data through published materials. Data was analysed through SPSS and presented in tables. Hypothesis testing was done through the use of t-test. F test (ANOVA) was also conducted to ascertain the difference between groups on study variable. Findings- The study found that voting in elections has a positive and significant relationship with responsive governance. The study concluded that that citizen’s education influences their ability and decision to vote in leaders who are effective in service delivery. The study also concluded that incumbent leader performance influences achievement of county goals. Based on the study findings, the researcher recommends that there is need to establish, County, Sub-County and Ward Citizens Forums to enhance voter awareness of residents in local governance. The forums will specifically enable citizens to engage directly in the planning, policy making and monitoring of service delivery accorded to them. Originality/value – This paper fulfils an identified need in understanding how voting in elections can influence responsive governance. The study therefore recommends that all citizens should be empowered and given the rights to vote in their desired leader. Additionally, free and fair elections should be conducted to ensure that candidates with clear manifestos are elected.

The formulation of the problem in this study is to find out how much the basic price per pack of tempe in the Tempe Pak Ali business if calculated using conventional methods and activity based costing method, what factors cause differences in the cost of production based on the system activity based costing with conventional methods in Mr. Ali's Tempe Business. The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The type of primary data obtained from interviews and direct observations on the Tempe Pak Ali Business. The results of this study are the cost of tempe production based on the activity based costing system of Rp. 8632.66 and conventional system based of Rp. 9,389.41. The conclusion of this study is the difference that occurs in determining the cost of production used by Tempe Pak Ali's Business with the activity based costing method due to the imposition of overhead costs produced by making tempe and conventional methods and ABC methods are different, so that the costs obtained can be greater or more small. The activity based costing method can be applied to Pak Ali's Tempe Business because using the ABC method requires lower costs than using conventional methods.

ABSTRACT Mental workload is a workload which is the difference between the demands of the workload of a task with a maximum capacity load of a person's mental condition motivated, excessive workload will lead to the incident  of stress. Work stress is distress experienced by employees when facing job. The purpose of this research was  to study the picture of mental workload and stress on employees who work in CSSD Installation General Hospital Haji Surabaya. This research was a descriptive cross sectional approach. The subjects of this research  were employees in the Installation CSSD General Hospital Haji Surabaya. The variables of this research were the mental workload and job stress. Primary data was collected using questionnaires and observation. Secondary data obtained from the General Hospital Haji Surabaya. Furthermore the data was processed by descriptive and described in narrative form. The results  showed that the CSSD employees experiencing mental workload which was divided into seven employees experiencing medium metal workload and  four employees  experiencing low mental workload . In addition there was a relationship between mental workload with the incidence of workplace stress. overall it can be described that mental workload and workplace stress were in the medium level. It was recommended that employees  can used the time off well  and getting used to exercise to increase endurance. Keywoard : mental workload, workplace stress, installation sterilization center

India is an agrarian based country with two third of population as farming community. Wheat, ‘King of cereals’ also the second most cultivated food crop has technological gap in adoption of improved variety, hence the present study aims to understand the socio-economic profile, knowledge, attitude and adoption level of respondents to identify the technological gap and increase the adoption rate. The present study is carried out with 120 respondents from ten villages of Holgarh block of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Primary data collected with the help of semi-structured interview schedule and subjected to statistical analysis. The results indicated that majority of the wheat growers had medium level of knowledge, attitude and adoption towards SHUATS W-6 variety. Further, it was recommended for timely availability of seeds, fertilizer, proper marketing facility and reducing the cost of critical inputs.
