Manies Group is a company engaged in the sale of fashion that has been known by the people of the City of Madiun since 1971. Business competition is getting higher with the construction of several Mall and Department Stores. One strategy to deal with such competition is through information technology and information systems. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the information system strategic planning for Manies Group. The purpose of this study is to identify data needs to develop information systems and information technology. The planning analysis methodology uses the framework of John Ward and Joe Peppard. The analysis results are mapped using portfolio designs using McFarlan's Strategic Grid. The final result of this research is a document on the IS / IT strategic plan that supports the process of designing and building information systems for Manies Group

The City

The success of garment companies in increasing business competition is influenced by good managerial performance. Managers to achieve optimal performance in planning, control and decision making need the support of management accounting information systems, management control systems and information technology. This study aims to determine the effect of management accounting information systems and management control systems on managerial performance, the effect of management accounting information systems and management control systems on managerial performance with information technology as a moderating variable. The research object is the manager of a garment company in the city of Semarang with a population of 200, sampling using probability sampling, the sample used is 67 managers, determining the number of samples using the Slovin formula. The data used are primary data, data collection using a questionnaire with 5 Likert scale. The data analysis used in this research is validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression and interaction regression. The results showed that the management accounting information system had a significant positive effect on managerial performance. The management control system has a significant positive effect on managerial performance. Information technology is a moderating variable on the effect of management accounting information systems and management control systems on managerial performance, meaning that information technology strengthens the influence of management accounting information systems and management control systems on managerial performance in garment companies in the city of Semarang.

This chapter addresses the communication between information technology/information systems (IT/IS) professionals and their users in the corporate environment of the city of Curitiba (Brazil). The main goal was to analyze the communication processes and their pitfalls to knowledge transfer in this area. The study is exploratory considering that the desired number of responses was not reached. Results show that professionals have a communication whose terms make difficult users to understand them. Although it is not intentional, respondent professionals do not facilitate their understanding, what creates a knowledge bias between them. Conclusions suggest that professionals be formally prepared for customer service and manage their approach as user-cantered. Professionals need to be clear to users, in order to guarantee them confidence. Respondent users recognize the importance of IT/IS for their lives and companies; thus they expect professionals to share and explain well their actions/choices.

The development of information technology has increased so much interesting to do research, from a variety of disciplines. This study is flexible means to include all the things, one of which is the business process in an organization, HOW to create an organization that is able to compete. Obviously we need a strategic plan to improve the quality and thus the quality of the organization, what is the purpose of the organization is able to walk properly. In this case also attracted the attention of researchers is to conduct research on the organization of SMK in the city of Pagar Alam from the viewpoint of information systems and information technology. Obviously in this case we need a strategic planning / IT was good so that it can increase the quality of SMK in Pagar Alam, this research using the framework Ward and Peppard with Five Porter analysis, PEST, CSF, SWOT, to support the research.

Abstrak Artikel ini menyajikan hasil pelaksanaan cyber extension yang dilaksanakan oleh penyuluh agama Kota Semarang, serta efektifitas dari pelaksanaannya. Cyber extension merupakan inovasi sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi dengan berbasis cyber sebagai media dalam rangka penyuluhan untuk memudahkan kinerja penyuluh. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari pelaksanaan cyber extension penyuluh Agama Kota Semarang, terkait dengan peluang dan tantangan dalam pelaksanaan cyber extension yang dilakukan. Metode yang dilakukan penulis adalah dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif eksploratif dalam mengetahui sebab akibat dalam pelaksanaan cyber extension pada penyuluh agama kota Semarang. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan penyuluh agama sudah menerapkan konsep manajemen dengan menerapkan POAC dalam aktifitas pelaksanaan penyuluhan yang dilakukan, sehingga terdapat efektifitas dalam kinerjanya sebagai seorang penyuluh. Akan tetapi, pelaksanaan cyber extension dalam kinerjanya belum sepenuhnya diimplementasikan. Hal ini dikarenakan beberapa faktor diantaranya kurang adanya ada optimalisasi dari website kementerian Agama Kota, sumber daya pengelola yang belum optimal, pengembangan inovasi yang belum dilaksanakan dalam proses penyuluhan oleh penyuluh di tingkat kota Semarang. Kata Kunci: cyber extension, penyuluh agama, penyuluhan.   Abstract This article presents the implementation results of cyber extension carried out by religious counselor in Semarang City, as well as the effectiveness of its implementation. Cyber extension is an innovation in information systems and information technology based on cyber as a media for counseling to facilitate religious counselor performance. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cyber extension implementation for religious counselor officers in Semarang City, related to the opportunities and challenges in the implementation of cyber extension. The method uses an exploratory qualitative research for knowing the cause and effect of cyber extension implementation to religious counselor officers in the Semarang City. The results of this study indicate that religious counselor officers have implemented the management concept by implementing POAC in their counseling activities, so there is effectiveness in their performance as a counselor agent. However, the cyber extension implementation in its performance has not been fully implemented. This is due to several factors including the lack of optimization from the Ministry of Religion of the City website, inadequate management resources, the innovations development that have not been implemented in the counseling process by counselor agents at the city level of Semarang. Information systems and computer technology was developing rapidly because for information needed. The development of information technology. Could not separated from develop of computer technology, because computer was a media that could make easy to finish their work. The Change and dynamics of society�s grown rapidly with developmen of information technology that requires effective and efficient in terms of time. One of them helped in the process of final exam. The writer interest to make an information system based on mobile web that can solve the problem. The system will make based on object with the title make a data of final exam information system in Faculty of STMIK Palangkaraya based on mobile web. The results of this study are expected by the online aplication Final exam in faculty of STMIK Palangkaraya final and students to sign the final task quikly and accurately to assisted help faculty STMIK of Palangkaraya to collected a data of final exam and for student to sign. Final exam Seminar proposal, Final task quikkly and accurately. The collection of data by used this aplication also does not consume a lot of time and money because it can reach Final registration which is outside the city, outside the island even residing outside the country though.

Semarang City Public Works Department is a state-owned enterprise that works in the area of public services in the city of Semarang. Most of the technological conditions in the Public Works Department are still in manual data management, which is hampering business processes from going well. Therefore this research was conducted to design an Information System at the Semarang City Public Works Department using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method which includes a SWOT analysis and Value Chain analysis. The existing framework in the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method can help align the data architecture and application architecture to get the expected results, which is achieving the business objectives of the City of Semarang Public Works Department so that business functions can run by the desired business processes. This research resulted in several proposals for the development of Information Systems and Information Technology in organizations including the development of several applications in the next 5 years.

This study aims to use information technology, uncertainty or moderation duties and interactions between task uncertainty with the use of information technology to end user computing satisfaction. In this study used 70 respondents who actively use computers and working with several companies banking on the city of Padang. The data used are the primary data obtained through questionnaires. The study used three types of variables, the first is the independent variable, namely the utilization of information technology, both moderating variables, namely the uncertainty of the task, the third is the dependent variable is satisfaction of end user computing. The stages of hypothesis testing is done by using a regression model of moderating and statistical t-test. Based on the results of testing the first hypothesis (HI) was found to significantly influence the utilization of information technology to the satisfaction of end user computing. The second hypothesis (H2) testing results found that task uncertainty did not significantly influence the end user computing satisfaction. The third hypothesis (H3) testing found that the interaction or moderation between the use of technology with task uncertainty no significant effect on end user computing satisfaction.
