Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di Kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen 47 dan standar deviasi 17,04 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas kontrol 40 dan standar deviasi 13,40. Data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknis statistik parametris yaitu uji t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai ????tabel = 1,67 dan ????hitung = 2,96 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. Kata Kunci:   Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Model Pembelajaran Konvensional,  dan Pemahaman Konsep   Abstract: This research purposed to determine is mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. The hypothesis is that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model. The type of research is a quasi experiment. Design of research is pre-post control design. The population of this research is all students of class IX  MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu with samples taken by cluster random sampling technique. The average score of the experiment class students is 47 and standard deviation is 17.04 and the average score of the control class students is 40 and standard deviation is 13.40. The data is normal distribution and homogen, hypothesis test using t test. Results of hypothesis test obtained value ????table = 1.67 and ????count = 2.96 it means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicated that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model have better than mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. The aim of this research was to prove the effectiveness of the use of Tapertis Media towards the 4 graders of Elementary Schools’ multiplication concept understanding. The type of this research is experimental research. Using the intact-group comparison type of pre-experimental design. With 9 students as the sample of this research. Using purposive sampling technique. The methods used were the multiplication concept understanding test, observation, and documentation. Using validity of media expert, validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample T-Test, and regression test for the data analysis. The result showed that Jarimatika with Tapertis media has effectiveness in improving the 4 graders elementary schools’ multiplication concept understanding. The result of paired T-Test showed the significance level of < 0.05 is 0.00 < 0.05, then 𝐻𝑎 is accepted. The result of T-test showed that the average of learning achievement of the experimental class was higher than the average of the learning achievement of the control class, and the significance level was < 0.05, then 𝐻𝑎 is accepted. The result of regression test showed that significance value of pre-reading skills is 0.038 where the value is less than 0.05, therefore, the hypothesis is accepted. The data of the multiplication concept understanding value also showed that the learning average of the experimental class was greater than the control class. The data analysis result showed that Jarimatika with Tapertis media has effectiveness in improving the students’ multiplication concept understanding.

This research was instigated by the problem in the field showing that their mathematic concept understanding ability was low at Islamic Junior High School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir. One of learning anternative strategy could direct to the students in increasing mathematic concept understanding ability was scoffolding learning straytegy. the research aimed at investigating whether there was or not difference mathematic concept understanding ability between students joining Scaffolding learning strategy and student joining teacher implementing based on their learning motivation at Islamic JuniorHigh School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir.  It was quasi experimental research with nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. Population of this research were the students at the eight grade of Islamic Junior High School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir. Sample of this research was used sampling purposive technique. VIII of B as experimental group was given Scaffolding learning strategy and VIII of A as the control group given teacher learning implementing.Instrument of collecting data was used decription test to measure their mathematic concept understanding and questionnaire to measure their learning motivation. Two way ANOVA was the technique of data analysis.  Based the data analysis could be concluded that         1) there was a difference student mathematic concept understanding ability joining Scaffolding learning strategy and did not joining Scaffolding learning Strategy. 2) There was no an interaction between Scaffolding learning strategy and their learning motivation toward their mathematic concept understanding abilityKeywords:  Scaffolding, Mathematic Concept Understanding Ability Student Learning, Motivation

Understanding on concept and retention is one of the achievement indicators in learning. This research attempts to describe the profile of concept and students’ retention understanding of Primary Teacher Education of PGRI University of Semarang in the year of 2014/2015. The method of this research was a survey using essay test instrument of concept understanding and retention. Cluster random sampling method was used to take sample from 231 students in class 1A, 1C, 1E, 1F, and 1H. The overall result of the concept understanding value was dominated in high category at 57.6%. The highest indicator of concept understanding was in memorizing indicator (C1) at 83.6% and the lowest one was in the creating indicator (C6) at 50.3%. The overall retention mark was dominated in poor category at 50.3%. The conclusion was the high concept understanding was not followed with high students’ memory.

Abstract. This research has been made to know skill of student’s concept by using active learning strategy everyone is teacher here (ETH). Beside that this study aims to measure student’s concept understanding with statistical test between Experimental Class (Active Learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here) and control class (Conventional Learning ). The population was seventh grade of SMPN 3 Lirik consist 94 students in three classes. Sample was took randomly, experiment class ( VII.2 ) and control class ( VII.I ) This research was experiment, the form of this research was Quasi Experimental Design with randomized subject posttest only control group design. based on statistic data processing has been retrieved - t hitung -3,159 smaller than - t table was -2,000 and based on t test has been retrieved -thitung < -t table so Ho rejected and Ha received. So that the writer conclude that skill of math student’s concept understanding by using active learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here (ETH) is better than conventional concept understanding.Keywords: Everyone Is A Teacher Here, Concept Understanding
