In the literature on product branding, significant attention has been paid to brand equity in the consumer context, but relatively little attention has been paid to the application of the concept of brand equity in the business-to-business context. This research attempts to bridge this gap by exploring the customer-based brand equity concept from the retailers’ perspective. The study was conducted in the context of the Vietnamese independent retail grocery sector. This context was chosen on the basis that there has been limited research conducted on branding in the Vietnamese context and due to the prominence of the independent grocery sector in the retail industry of Viet Nam. By using AMOS 16 and SPSS 16.0 software, the results of the study indicate that brand equity plays an important role in the retailing context, and it comprises three dimensions - brand association, brand trust and brand loyalty. As the result of a strong brand, retailers commit to a long-term business relationship with the brand’s manufacturer. Two of these three dimensions of retailer-based brand equity, (brand association and brand trust) are positively and significantly related to the brand’s performance at the retail outlet. Manufacturer support, including advertising, sales promotion and trade promotions has been confirmed by this study to be an antecedent of retailer-based brand equity, brand performance and customer perceived value as well.

The phenomenon in the increasing fashion business is caused by online shopping activity, especially in fashion products. In this research, shopping activity is focused on online shopping. Online shopping is also called internet shopping, electronic shopping, online buying, or buying through the internet. Online shopping has become the newest trend for Indonesian as an alternative to buying a product or service. Advertisement and trend are able to influence consumers in doing or deciding to buy. This is the reason people buy excessively unplanned as needed. This research purpose is to observe the sales promotion influence toward impulse buying with hedonic shopping value as intervening to fashion online shopping consumers in Surabaya. This research uses 99 respondents, and the data analysis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) model. The result shows that sales promotion and hedonic shopping value have significant positive influence on impulse buying. Moreover, hedonic shopping value as variable intervening has an influence between sales promotion to impulse buying.

The purpose of this study is to know the influence between sales promotion to purchase decisions, to know the influence between the quality of service to purchasing decisions, to know the influence between brand trusts on purchasing decisions. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression using SPSS 25 analysis tool. The object of the research in this study was indihome customers of Ciputat region as many as 100 people with random sampling techniques (probability sampling). The results of the analysis stated that partially sales promotion affects purchasing decisions, partially the quality of service services affects purchasing decisions and partially brand trusts affect purchasing decisions, simultaneously (sales promotion, service quality and brand trust) affect purchasing decisions. Concluded in this study is sales promotion influences the decision to use Indihome, the quality of service influences the decision to use Indihome, brand trust influences the decision to use Indihome, simultaneously the promotion of sales of services and brand trust influences the decision to use Indihome.

The development of internet technology is increasing. With fast internet technology, Indonesian people's spending patterns are shifting. Shopping activities that used to only be through stores directly, but by using internet technology known as online shopping. Online Shopping can be accessed through digital applications known as e-commerce applications. One of the well-known e-commerce sites in Indonesia is Shopee. In this case, the formulation of the problem in this research is to study the marketing communication strategy undertaken by Shopee and the implementation of Shopee marketing communication. The theoretical foundation used in this research is marketing communication, and SOSTAC analysis. The consideration method used in this study is a qualitative approach. The resource persons in this study are Yoga Pratama, who are Shopee Business Development and Shopee users with different needs. The results of this study indicate that the optimal use of the marketing communication mix consists of advertising (advertising) and sales promotion (sales promotion).Perkembangan teknologi internet semakin hari semakin berkembang pesat. Adanya teknologi internet yang pesat, pola belanja masyarakat Indonesia bergeser. Kegiatan belanja yang dulu hanya bisa melalui toko secara langsung, tetapi dengan menggunakan teknologi internet dikenal dengan istilah online shopping. Belanja secara daring (online) dapat diakses melalui aplikasi digital yang dikenal dengan istilah aplikasi e-commerce. Salah satu e-commerce yang ternama di Indonesia adalah Shopee. Dalam hal ini, terdapat perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Shopee serta pelaksanaan komunikasi pemasaran Shopee. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi pemasaran, dan analisis SOSTAC. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah Yoga Pratama yang merupakan Business Development Shopee dan pengguna Shopee dengan kebutuhan yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bauran komunikasi pemasaran yang optimal yaitu berupa iklan (advertising) dan promosi penjualan (sales promotion).

Although there have been unprecedented advances in technology worldwide, it is challenging for businesses and marketers to develop novel strategies of attracting consumers because the latter’s online shopping intentions have not changed according to the technological advances. Given these considerations, the present paper investigated how online shopping intention was influenced by website design and online reviews, how the relationship between website design and online shopping intention was moderated by online reviews, and how the relationship between online reviews and online shopping intention was moderated by digital coupon sales promotion. To that end, the paper drew on the theoretical framework of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. A sample of consumers from Jordan was used for data collection, with Smart Partial Least Squares being employed for the analysis of the 225 responses received. Based on the findings, online shopping intention was favorably influenced by website design and by online reviews, while the relationship between website design and online shopping intention was moderated by online reviews. Likewise, the relationship between online reviews and online shopping intention was moderated by digital coupon sales promotion. Digital marketing agencies can use such findings to develop a marketing strategy targeting young adult consumers in Jordan.

<p><em>Abstrak -</em><strong> Tujuan dari penelitian ini merupakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan merk, faktor produk, dan promosi penjualan terhadap loyalitas konsumen melalui keputusan pembelian studi kasus Matahari Departement Store. Metode analisis yang data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur. Sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan orang yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk secara offline di Matahari Departement Store dalam kurun waktu 3 bulan terakhir di wilayah JABODETABEK. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis jalur pada variabel – variabel tersebut. Kepercayaan merk memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, faktor produk memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, promosi penjualan memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap  keputusan pembelian, kepercayaan merek memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, faktor produk memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, promosi penjualan memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen, keputusan penjualan memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen.</strong></p><p><strong>Kata Kunci </strong>- Kepercayaan Merk, Faktor Produk, Promosi Penjualan, Keputusan Pembelian, dan Loyalitas Konsumen.</p><p><em>Abstract -<strong> The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of brand trust, product factors, and sales promotions on customer loyalty through the purchasing decision of the Matahari Department Store Store case study. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and path analysis. The sample in this study were people who had purchased products offline at the Matahari Department Store in the past 3 months in the Greater Jakarta area. From the results of the study using path analysis on these variables. Brand trust has a significant relationship to purchasing decisions, product factors have a significant relationship to purchasing decisions, sales promotion has a significant relationship to purchasing decisions, brand trust has a significant relationship to customer loyalty, product factors have a significant relationship to customer loyalty, sales promotion has a significant relationship on customer loyalty, sales decisions have a significant relationship to customer loyalty.</strong></em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords </em></strong><em>- Brand Trust, Product Factor, Sales Promotion, Purchase Decision, and Customer Loyalty<strong></strong></em></p>
