This article examines three trends that will shape the future of social media. From these innovations, five practical tools addressed to coaches with little experience in the use of social media are proposed. These resources are focused on the promotion of clubs or academies and professional career development through networking and self-learning. The latest innovations and trends in social media will be explored and from this, five recommendations for utilisation by tennis coaches will be proposed.

This article presents the results of a study investigating user involvement in the idea generation phase of service innovation, and discusses advantages and limitations of such involvement. Specifically, the study compares the use of social media such as blogs and future workshops to generate idea for service innovations in the context of a research library. Our study shows that the blog is good in opening up for user contributions, while the future workshop involving users and employees is particularly good at qualifying and further developing ideas. The findings suggest therefore that methods for user involvement should be carefully selected and combined to achieve optimum benefits and avoid potential disadvantages.

Context.— Use of social media in the medical profession is an increasingly prevalent and sometimes controversial practice. Many doctors believe social media is the future and embrace it as an educational and collaborative tool. Others maintain reservations concerning issues such as patient confidentiality, and legal and ethical risks. Objective.— To explore the utility of social media as an educational and collaborative tool in dermatopathology. Design.— We constructed 2 identical surveys containing questions pertaining to the responders' demographics and opinions regarding the use of social media for dermatopathology. The surveys were available on Twitter and Facebook for a period of 10 days. Results.— The survey was completed by 131 medical professionals from 29 different countries: the majority (81%, 106 of 131) were 25 to 45 years of age. Most replied that they access Facebook or Twitter several times a day (68%, 89 of 131) for both professional and social purposes (77%, 101 of 131). The majority agreed that social media provides useful and relevant information, but stated limitations they would like addressed. Conclusions.— Social media is a powerful tool with the ability to instantaneously share dermatopathology with medical professionals across the world. This study reveals the opinions and characteristics of the population of medical professionals currently using social media for education and collaboration in dermatopathology.

Internet merupakan rangkaian komputer yang terhubung dalam beberapa rangkaian jaringan. Salah satudi antaranya yaitu media sosial yang merupakan situs dimana seseorang bias membuat Web page pribadi kemudian terhubung dengan teman-teman untuk berbagi informasi dan berkomunikasi. Penggunaan media social sangat mempengaruhi aktivitas seseorang, salah satunya adalah motivasi belajar remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan durasi penggunaan media social dengan motivasi belajar remaja di SMAN 1 Gringsing. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian sebanyak 239 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara durasi penggunaan media sosial dengan motivasi belajar remaja di SMAN 1 Gringsing responden yang menggunakan durasi media sosial dengan jumlah paling banyak masuk dalam kategori durasi rendah yaitu 152 responden (63,6%) dan responden motivasi belajar rata-rata masuk dalam kategori motivasi belajar sedang dengan jumlah 176 responden (73,6%) dengan ρ-value = 0,000 <α (0,05). Remaja sebaiknya mampu menyesuaikan waktu penggunaan media sosial dengan baik sehingga tidak lalai terhadap tugasnya sebagai pelajar. Kata Kunci: Media sosial, motivasi belajar. RELATIONSHIP OF DURATION OF USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA WITH TEEN LEARNING MOTIVATION ABSTRACTThe internet is a series of computers that are connected in a series of networks. One of them is social media, which is a site where someone can create a personal Web page and then connect with friends to share information and communicate. The use of social media greatly influences a person's activities, one of which is the motivation to learn teenagers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the duration of the use of social media and the motivation to learn adolescents at Gringsing 1 Public High School. The design used is descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The sample in the study were 239 respondents. Sampling uses Simple Random Sampling. The results showed that there was a relationship between the duration of the use of social media and the motivation to learn adolescents at SMAN 1 Gringsing respondents who used the duration of social media with the highest number included in the low duration category of 152 respondents (63.6%) and respondents average learning motivation included in the category of moderate learning motivation with a total of 176 respondents (73.6%) with ρ-value = 0,000 <α (0.05). Teenagers should be able to adjust the time of using social media so that they are not negligent about their duties as students. Keywords: Social media, learning motivation.

<span lang="EN-US">The use of social media is one of the predominant features in the average daily life of students and lecturers across tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It was against this backdrop that this study was carried out to determine the role of social media in reshaping the future of academic activities among lecturers of Vocational and Technical education in Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. A structured questionnaire consisting of 40- items was developed by the researcher for data collection. The reliability of the instrument was determined using Kuder Richardson (KR20) formula which yielded 0.85. The population of the study comprised lecturers from the two Colleges of Education in Niger State.  Four research questions guided the study. The findings revealed among others that social media is a technological tool that can reshape the future of teaching Vocational and Technical education as it brings with it new opportunities which is capable of promoting collaborative teaching and learning as well as the potential to promote and reshape the future of higher education in institutions of learning. Furthermore, the trend according to the findings of this study revealed that the overwhelming patronage is in terms of making new friends (online), playing games, exchange of affectionate/love messages, online chatting, sharing selfies, spreading false information, hate speeches, and even quarrelling with virtual friends. On the basis of these findings, some recommendations were made which among others include the need for the college management to mount capacity building programmes to retrain the lecturers to understand the concept of social learning and to keep them abreast with innovative teaching and learning platform such as social media.</span>

The use of social media in promoting traditional selebration such as cultural festival is relatively new used by festival organizer. Twitter as one of social media can be effective if is used in cultural festival because it is perceived not only able to raise the audience awareness, but also able to involve many visitors to interact each others This research is focusing on how to describe the words that is used in Twitter and analizing the use of Twitter in promoting this festival. The analysis will be focused on word analysis and many comments will be processed by using computer software called Ripple 10. The result of this research can be used to evaluate, create decision to improve the festival quality in the future.

Abstrak: Memasuki era transformasi digital ditahun 2021, perkembangan teknologi komunikasi terutama media sosial sudah sangat pesat dan tak terbatas. Dalam dunia yang semakin canggih ini dibeberapa daerah di Indonesia masih beberapa daerah yang belum dapat mengoptimalkan media sosial salah satunya di desa Kampil RT 06 RW02 Kecamatan Wiradesa. Ditengah perkembangan teknologi komunikasi saat ini pemuda Desa Kampil RT 06 RW 02 masih mengandalkan pekerjaan mereka sebagai buruh bangunan, petani, pedagang rumahan, dan juga merantau ke kota lain dengan pekerjaan serupa bahkan ada yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan. Hal tersebut tentu menjadi masalah yang harus diselesaikan, tertutama bagi kalangan pemuda agar kedepannya desa kampil RT 06 menjadi desa yang sejahtera di bidang ekonomi. Dalam penyelesaian masalah ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode training atau pelatihan. Teknologi komunikasi terutama kehadiran media sosial yang ada ditengah masyarakat saat ini dapat menjadi jalan keluar dari masalah tersebut. Dalam memanfaatkan teknologi itu sendiri yang cenderung menguasai dalam penggunaan teknologi komunikasi biasanya adalah pemuda, untuk itu pemuda adalah sasaran dalam penyelesaian masalah ini. Pelatihan yang dialakukan adalah dengan pengenalan media sosial, pemanfaatan media sosial untuk promosi dan bagaimana optimalisasi media sosial dalam mempromosikan produk dan jasa. Dampak yang muncul dari pelatihan ini adalah pemuda lebih memahami fungsi media sosial dan dapat memanfaatkan media sosial untuk keperluan promosi.Abstract: Entering the digital transformation era in 2021, communication technology, especially social media, is very fast and unlimited. In this increasingly sophisticated world, in some areas in Indonesia, there are still some areas that have not been able to optimize one of the social media in Kampil village, RT 06 RW02, Wiradesa sub-district. In the development of communication technology, the youth of Kampil Village RT 06 RW 02 still rely on their work as construction workers, farmers, home traders, and also migrate to other cities with similar jobs and some even do not have jobs. This is certainly a problem that must be resolved, especially for the youth so that in the future Kampil Village RT 06 becomes a prosperous village in the economic field. In solving this problem, the method used is the method of training or training. Communication technology, especially the presence of social media in today's society can be a way out of this problem. In utilizing the technology itself, those who master the use of communication technology are usually young people, for that youth are the targets in solving this problem. The training carried out is with the introduction of social media, the use of social media for and how to optimize social media in promoting products and services. The impact that emerged from this training was that young people better understood the function of social media and could use social media for promotional purposes.
