Internet merupakan rangkaian komputer yang terhubung dalam beberapa rangkaian jaringan. Salah satudi antaranya yaitu media sosial yang merupakan situs dimana seseorang bias membuat Web page pribadi kemudian terhubung dengan teman-teman untuk berbagi informasi dan berkomunikasi. Penggunaan media social sangat mempengaruhi aktivitas seseorang, salah satunya adalah motivasi belajar remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan durasi penggunaan media social dengan motivasi belajar remaja di SMAN 1 Gringsing. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian sebanyak 239 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara durasi penggunaan media sosial dengan motivasi belajar remaja di SMAN 1 Gringsing responden yang menggunakan durasi media sosial dengan jumlah paling banyak masuk dalam kategori durasi rendah yaitu 152 responden (63,6%) dan responden motivasi belajar rata-rata masuk dalam kategori motivasi belajar sedang dengan jumlah 176 responden (73,6%) dengan ρ-value = 0,000 <α (0,05). Remaja sebaiknya mampu menyesuaikan waktu penggunaan media sosial dengan baik sehingga tidak lalai terhadap tugasnya sebagai pelajar. Kata Kunci: Media sosial, motivasi belajar. RELATIONSHIP OF DURATION OF USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA WITH TEEN LEARNING MOTIVATION ABSTRACTThe internet is a series of computers that are connected in a series of networks. One of them is social media, which is a site where someone can create a personal Web page and then connect with friends to share information and communicate. The use of social media greatly influences a person's activities, one of which is the motivation to learn teenagers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the duration of the use of social media and the motivation to learn adolescents at Gringsing 1 Public High School. The design used is descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The sample in the study were 239 respondents. Sampling uses Simple Random Sampling. The results showed that there was a relationship between the duration of the use of social media and the motivation to learn adolescents at SMAN 1 Gringsing respondents who used the duration of social media with the highest number included in the low duration category of 152 respondents (63.6%) and respondents average learning motivation included in the category of moderate learning motivation with a total of 176 respondents (73.6%) with ρ-value = 0,000 <α (0.05). Teenagers should be able to adjust the time of using social media so that they are not negligent about their duties as students. Keywords: Social media, learning motivation.

ABSTRAKMotivasi adalah salah satu dari banyak hal yang dijadikan suatu batas kesuksesan seseorang dalam belajar. Tanpa adanya motivasi maka sangatah sulit bagi seseorang untuk mencapai prestasi yang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan nilai indeks prestasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 mahasiswa Akademi Keperawatan Adi Husada Surabaya, dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 67 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur variable motivasi belajar dan untuk melihat nilai indeks prestasi yang telah diraih oleh mahasiswa selama satu semester dilakukan secara observasi. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan p=0.00 (α<0.05) dan r=0.853 sehingga terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara motivasi belajar dengan nilai indeks prestasi. Motivasi belajar yang baik harus dapat ditimbulkan agar mahasiswa mampu melakukan proses pembelajaran dengna mudah dan dapat bersaing secara sehat dalam mepertahankan nilai-nilai yang telah diraih dalam setiap semester.Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, nilai indeks prestasi.ABSTRACTMotivation is one of the many things that made a limit a person's success in learning. Without the motivation it is difficult for a person to achieve optimal performance. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and achievement index value. The study design used is a correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 90 students of the Academy of Nursing Adi Husada Surabaya, with a sample size of 67 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Collecting data using questionnaires to measure variables of motivation to learn and to see the index value achievements that have been attained by students during a semester is done by observation. Statistical analysis showed p = 0.00 (α <0,05) and r = 0853 so that there is a strong relationship between learning motivation and achievement index value. Motivation to learn that both must be generated so that students are able to make the learning process easy and dengna can compete fairly in mepertahankan values that have been achieved in each semester. This research is purposed to reveal the contribution oflearning motivation and laboratory facilities of the subjectslearning outcomes Perform Computer Maintenance Class Xstudent of Computer Engineering and Networks SMK Negeri 8Padang. The research is a descriptive correlational . The researchpopulation numbered is 59 people and sample totaled 37 studentsof class X Computer Engineering and Networks SMK Negeri 8Padang Academic Year 2012/2013.Using Technique of randomsampling ( Simple random sampling ) . and Data collection usingquestionnaires and documentation . Data were analyzed usingPearson product moment correlation and multiple correlation foranalysis . The results of data analysis showed : ( 1 ) learningmotivation to contribute 25.16 % of the learning outcomes ofstudents of SMK Negeri 8 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013 ,(2) laboratory facilities accounted for 19.82 % of the learningoutcomes of students of SMK Negeri 8 Champaign AcademicYear 2012/2013 , (3) Learning Motivation and Labor facilitiestogether accounted for 27.84 % of the learning outcomes ofstudents of SMK Negeri 8 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013 . Soit can be concluded that the motivation to learn and laboratoryfacilities contribute to the learning outcomes , the higher thestudents' motivation in the learning process and the betterutilization of laboratory facilities , the learning outcomes will behigher.

Adolescence is a phase of developmental growth between childhood and adulthood. In 2013 the number of teenagers was 65 million people or 30% of the population of Indonesia. Parents find it taboo to talk about sex issues so teenagers are looking for alternative sources of information. Teenagers use mass media as a source of information. This study was to find out the relationship of social media use with the level of knowledge about free sex in adolescents at SMA Negeri 12 Makassar. Research design uses analytical surveys with a cross sectional approach. Sampling was with simple random sampling techniques. The number of respondents was 105 students. Data collection is done using questionnaires. Data analysis includes univariate analysis by looking for frequency distribution, bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test α = 0.05 to find out the relationship between variables. The results of the analysis of bivariate obtained a relationship between social media and the level of knowledge about free sex (p= 0.002). The conclusion in this study is that there is a strongly relationship between the use of social media and the level of knowledge about free sex in adolescents

ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Remaja berusaha berpenampilan semenarik mungkin guna memperoleh pengakuan serta daya tarik (Engkus dan Hikmat, 2017). Media sosial merupakan candu bagi remaja, semakin aktif di media sosial akan semakin keren dan gaul (Secsio et al., 2016). Tindakan mengunggah foto atau video dengan intensitas sering mengganggu tercapainya perkembangan diri optimal. Penggunaan media sosial berlebihan memicu timbulnya cyberbulying, berupa kata merendahkan, menekan dan bernada kekerasan yang membahayakan self-esteem. Self-esteem merupakan faktor yang berhubungan terhadap kecenderungan narsistik dan aktualisasi diri seseorang.Metode: Desain penelitian cross- sectional dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Variabel independen adalah intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Variabel dependen adalah kecenderungan narsisme menggunakan instrumen versi pendek dari narcissistic personality inventory-40 dengan hasil uji relaibilitas didapatkan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,625, dan aktualisasi diri menggunakan instrumen Short Index of Self Actualization (SISA) dengan hasil uji reliabilitas didapatkan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,898. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Kendall’s tau.Hasil: Ada hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kecenderungan narsisme (p=0,005) dan ada hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan aktualisasi diri (p=0,001).Kesimpulan: Intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang tinggi akan berpengaruh pada kecenderungan narsisme dan aktualisasi diri. Perlu adanya pengawasan dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan kesehatan untuk menghindari penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dan mengoptimalkan potensi individu agar tercapai aktualisasi diri yang optimal. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Teens try to look as attractive as possible in order to gain recognition and attractiveness. Social media offers a variety of facilities so that users feel free and happy to save various experiences. The use of excessive social media triggers the emergence of cyberbulying, in the form of degrading, pressing and violent words that endanger self-esteem. Self-esteem is a factor that is related to narcissistic tendencies and one's self-actualizationMethod: The study design was cross-sectional using simple random sampling. The independent variable is the intensity of social media use. The dependent variable is the tendency of narcissism with the results of the reliability test obtained by Cronbach's Alpha 0.625, and self-actualization with the results of the reliability test obtained by Cronbach's Alpha 0.898. The research instrument used a questionnaire and was analyzed using the Kendall's test.Result: There is a relationship between the intensity of social media use and narcissistic tendencies (p = 0.005) and there is a relationship between the intensity of social media use and self-actualization (p = 0.001).Conclusion: The high intensity of social media use will affect the tendency of narcissism and self-actualization. It is necessary to supervise and improve the quality of health education to avoid excessive use of social media and optimize individual potential to achieve optimal self-actualization.

This study aims to determine the Contribution of Learning Motivation and Utilization of Learning Facilities Against Basic Electrical and Electronic Learning Outcomes Grade X Students of Audio Video Engineering Skills Program at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The population in this study amounted to 63 students. This type of research is correlational descriptive. In this study using Simple Random Sampling with a total of 56 students. Data Learning outcomes were obtained from Elementary and Electrical subject teachers at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Meanwhile Motivation Learning Data and Learning Facilities Utilization obtained by using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis showed: (1) Motivation to Learning and Utilization of Learning Facilities together contributed 36.24% to learning outcomes; (2) Learning Motivation contributes 7.95% to learning outcomes; (3) Utilization of Learning Facilities contributes 25.50% to learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the motivation to learn and use learning facilities contributes to the learning outcomes of basic electricity and electronics at SMK Negeri 5 Padang.Keywords: Learning Motivation, Utilization of Learning Facilities, Learning Outcomes

Penggunaan media sosial dengan intensitas yang tinggi adalah hal yang sekarang lagi terjadi di kalangan remaja, mereka berinteraksi satu sama lain melalui media sosial, hal ini memicu terjadinya beberapa masalah kesehatan, tidak hanya fisik tapi juga kesehatan mental. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap kejadian depresi, kecemasan dan stress pada mahasiswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 mahasiswa yang diambil secata simple random sampling, variable indepennya adalah penggunaan media sosial, variable dependen adalah depresi, kecemasan dan stress. Data diambil dengan menggunakan social media addiction scale, dan depression, anxiety, stree scale, (DASS 21) dan diolah dengan menggunakan uji multivariate Manova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 65 mahasiswa (81.5%) adalah medium user, 9 mahasiswa (11.5%) sebagai light user dan 6 mahasiswa (7.5%) sebagai heavy user. Hasil uji Manova didapatkan P value pada variable depresi sebesar 0.03, kecemasan dengan p value 0.04 dan stress dengan p value 0.02. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media  sosial terhadap terjadinya depresi, kecemasan dan stress pada mahasiswa.

Education is a process of learning from a knowledge, skills, attitudes and social behavior, which in undergoing the process must go through various stages to help achieve a goal. Students are expected to be able to go through all the learning processes in the education environment and this is related to learning stress which will ultimately affect learning motivation. This study aims to look at the relationship of learning stress with learning motivation in students undergoing education at STIKes Murni Teguh. This type of research uses cross sectional design and the sample used in this study amounted to 76 people, and simple random sampling is used as a sampling technique in the population. Research data collection using the SLSI questionnaire and learning motivation instruments, and analysis of the data used using the Spearman test. From the correlation test results obtained a significant relationship of (0,000) and Correlation Coefficient of (0.713), it can be concluded that stress learning has a relationship with student learning motivation. High learning motivation will make students study diligently and eventually will be realized in academic achievement. Efforts should be made to overcome the stress of learning and student motivation in undergoing the educational process to produce optimal learning.   Pendidikan merupakan sebuah proses pembelajaran dari sebuah pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan perilaku sosial, dimana dalam menjalani proses tersebut harus melewati berbagai tahapan untuk membantu tercapainya sebuah tujuan. Mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menjalani semua proses pembelajaran dilingkungan pendidikan dan ini berkaitan dengan stres belajar yang pada akhirnya akan mempengaruhi motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan stres belajar dengan motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa yang menjalani pendidikan di STIKes Murni Teguh. Jenis penelitan ini menggunakan cross sectional design dan sampel yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 orang, serta simple random sampling dipakai sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel pada populasi. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner SLSI dan instrumen motivasi belajar, serta analisa data yang digunakan memakai uji Spearman. Dari hasil uji korelasi didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan sebesar (0.000) dan nilai Correlation Coefficient sebesar (0.713), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa stres belajar memiliki hubungan dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Motivasi belajar yang tinggi akan membuat mahasiswa belajar dengan tekun dan pada akhirnya akan terwujud dalam prestasi akademik. Perlu dilakukan upaya untuk mengatasi stres belajar dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam menjalani proses pendidikan untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran yang optimal.

@panncafe is an Instagram social media account that has informational content about the activities of South Korean celebrities. The existence of this account makes it easier for K-Pop fans in Indonesia to fulfill their information needs about something that happened or what activities were carried out by their idols. The purpose of this research was to determine how much effectiveness the use of social media accounts for the Instagram @panncafe account in meeting the information needs of K-Pop fans who are followers of the account. This study uses several supporting theories, namely mass communication, new media, social media, information needs, and effectiveness. This study uses a quantitative approach, using a survey method. The population in this study were K-Pop fans who became followers of the @panncafe Instagram account. The data collection technique used in this study was by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were determined through probability sampling and simple random sampling techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed by validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression analysis, partial correlation analysis, determination coefficient analysis and t test. From this research, it was found that the linear regression equation Y = 9.504 + 0.955X with a significance value (Sig) of 0.000. The T test also shows a significant effect, which means that the use of social media @panncafe is significantly effective in meeting the needs of K-Pop fans.@panncafe adalah akun media sosial Instagram yang memiliki konten informasi seputar aktivitas selebritas Korea Selatan. Adanya akun tersebut memudahkan para penggemar K-Pop di Indonesia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mengenai sesuatu hal yang terjadi atau apa saja kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh idolanya. Tujuan dari  penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas penggunaan akun media sosial akun Instagram @panncafe dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi penggemar K-Pop yang menjadi pengikut dari akun tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa penunjang teori yaitu komunikasi massa, media baru, media sosial, kebutuhan informasi, dan efektivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah penggemar K-Pop yang menjadi pengikut (followers) akun instagram @panncafe. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang ditentukan melalui probability sampling dan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi linier sederhana, analisis korelasi parsial, analisis koefisien determinasi, dan uji t. Dari penelitinan ini didapati persamaan regresi linier Y = 9.504 + 0.955X dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig) sebesar 0.000. Uji T juga menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan, yang berarti penggunaan media sosial @panncafe efektif secara signifikan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan penggemar K-Pop.

The use of social media for business purposes has been growing exponentially due to its great potential as an effective marketing tool. Nonetheless, studies which assess how effective social media can be as a persuasive technology are limited, especially in the context of developing countries. Therefore, this study attempts to evaluate the perceived impact of social media as a persuasive technology for businesses in Malaysia. To accomplish this, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 1,196 social media users. Geographical clustering sampling was used, together with simple random sampling to select participants for the survey, which was based in five regions in Malaysia. The outcome of the survey shows that social media can have a significant impact on business and that the majority of social media users perceive that social media content can indeed persuade people to purchase products or services offered. Furthermore, it was found that social media content can also significantly influence purchasing decisions.
