Introduction- The text neck syndrome is a repetitive stress injury induced by prolonged neck flexion at different angles and pain sustained from excessive watching or texting on handheld devices for long periods. It should be referred to as "Modern Era Pain" due to its direct association with the modern era's Gadgets. Aim - This study aimed to determine the prevalence of text neck syndrome and neck pain among college students and to find the effect of neck pain on their active daily lives. Methodology - A personalized questionnaire was designed in the Google Forms and distributed among the around college students by using Snowball sampling techniques. The questionnaire contained four parts: consent letter, sociodemographic details, NDI questionnaire, and fourth part of questionnaire contained vas scale and personalized question about how neck pain impact their active daily life. Result – Out of 283 responses, 36.5 percent of respondents reported mild text neck syndrome, 23.4 percent reported moderate, 2.1 percent reported severe and complete text neck syndrome, and 35.7 percent did not suffer text neck syndrome. And 73.4 % people reported mild to severe pain in neck and upper back region. Conclusion- Prevalence of text neck syndrome is found greater in study as compared to the findings of other previous studies. Text neck syndrome is an emerging disease of today’s world. The term ‘text neck’ is used to describe a re-petitive stress injury or an overuse syndrome due to forward head flexion and bent down looking at handheld devices like mobile phone, tablet or other wireless electronic devices for prolonged period of time. Our young generation is at high risk of developing this disease because they spend their most of the times by hunching over the mobile phones. It is manifested by neck pain, neck stiffness, reduced mobility of neck and headache. If it is left untreated then it may lead to flattening of the spinal curve, onset of early arthritis, spinal misalignment, disc compression, disc herniation, nerve damage and muscle damage etc. It can be correlated with Manyastambha due to similarity in their symptoms. Manyastambha is characterized by neck pain, neck stiffness and restricted movements of neck. One should follow proper preventive measures to avoid Text neck syndrome, as we know ‘Prevention is better than cure’. In this article Ayurve-dic management of this disease has been discussed in detail. It includes Nidana parivarjana, Abhyanga, Ruksha Swedana, Nasya Karma, Greeva basti and Shamana aushadhis etc. along with these some Yoga-asanas have also been mentioned that are beneficial to combat this disease.

Background: Excessive use of smartphones may be associated with behavioral and physical health changes and might cause musculoskeletal alterations in the head and neck region. Objective: To evaluate the prevalence of smartphone addiction in college students and its correlation with symptoms of head and neck pain and masticatory and trapezius muscle activity while resting, before and after smartphone use. Methods: Twenty university students participated in the study. They answered the Smartphone Addiction Scale and the Fonseca Anamnestic Index. Next, the participants were seated and prepared for electromyography through the placement of surface electrodes on the masseter, temporal, and trapezius muscles. Rest condition data were collected for 10 seconds before and after 30 minutes of smartphone use. Results: The results showed that 35% of the evaluated individuals were classified as smartphone addicted and 35% reported no head or neck pain in the previous 30 days. There was no association between smartphone use and head and neck pain. In the electromyography, there was an increase in RMS values after smartphone use in the right and left masseter muscles and the left trapezius. Conclusion: College students presented a high prevalence of smartphone addiction and head and neck pain, but these were not statistically associated. There was a change in muscle activity only in the right trapezius muscles before and after 30 minutes of smartphone use. These findings are contrary to the current belief that the use of smartphones correlates with pain in the neck region and changes in the electrical muscle activity, leading to fatigue in the cervical muscles.

Lazada is a market leader of e-commerce in Shout-East Asia. This study aims to analyze and discuss the effect of the e-service quality and eases on the repurchase intention through satisfaction. This study uses college students aged 18-25 years as respondents, which have purchased Lazada at least once, and their last purchase is in the last one month. The sampling method is non-probability sampling using a snowball sampling technique. The number of samples is 220 respondents. Data were collected by an online questionnaire and analyzed using AMOS. The result of this study indicates that e-service quality and ease have a significant effect on satisfaction and repurchase intention.

Dayak hibun people cannot be separated from the forest in their daily lives. they maintain the preservation of the surrounding forest, one of which is the caged forest. The research aimed to collect information regardingthe local wisdomPublicDayak Hibun  in Beruak, Gunam Village, Parindu Subdistrict, Sanggau Regency, in an effort to preserve the teringkang forest. The research method using survey method, and the technique of data collection was snowball sampling. The data was obtained through a depth-interview and interview guideline as a reference. The results of the data analysis show that there are several forms of local wisdom practiced in gunam village, namely 1. (a) prohibition of cutting down the trees, (b) opening the Teringkang forest for farming, (c) burning goods such as shrimp paste and fish, (d) taking and killing animals, (e) urinating and defecating in the Teringkang Forest, 2. belief in the presence of Bunyik (ghosts), having rituals entering the Teringkang Forest, and Keeping words politeness, 3. Hence the community has belief in mystical matters, 4. Therefore, the Teringkang Forest is still preserved up until today.Keywords: Dayak Hibun, Local Wisdom, Teringkang Forest

For the past decade, handheld devices with mobile and wireless capabilities have emerged as the next promising generation of technology for teaching and learning. Today, handheld devices such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), portable gaming devices, and tablet PCs have already become pervasive in daily lives of students. With this trend, there has been increased interest as to how mobile technologies can be used to enhance teaching and learning. One of the challenges for educators is to examine how we can use the new innovations of mobile technologies to create learning experiences that are often limited in traditional classroom environments. The purpose of this article, therefore, is to provide innovative and practical applications of mobile technologies in a variety of educational contexts, including from K-12 to higher education and informal learning.

Social-cognitive theories, such as the theory of planned behavior, posit intentions as proximal influences on physical activity (PA). This paper extends those theories by examining within-person variation in intentions and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) as a function of the unfolding constraints in people’s daily lives (e.g., perceived time availability, fatigue, soreness, weather, overeating). College students (N = 63) completed a 14-day diary study over the Internet that rated daily motivation, contextual constraints, and MVPA. Key findings from multilevel analyses were that (1) between-person differences represented 46% and 33% of the variability in daily MVPA intentions and behavior, respectively; (2) attitudes, injunctive norms, self-efficacy, perceptions of limited time availability, and weekend status predicted daily changes in intention strength; and (3) daily changes in intentions, perceptions of limited time availability, and weekend status predicted day-to-day changes in MVPA. Embedding future motivation and PA research in the context of people’s daily lives will advance understanding of individual PA change processes.
