Young generation nowadays has lack of knowledge on the culture of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) which is a heritage that has a high value of art and philosophy. This is caused by the impact of foreign cultures rapidly entering Indonesia. The rapid development of the information technology through internet & game has led to globalization that seems to be not limited to space and time. The speed of information and foreign cultures cannot be stopped. The culture of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) is getting eroded and is not much known by the modern society nowadays. This is an irony to a big nation which has a rich heritage, so it is our obligation as a citizen to maintain and preserve it. Based on the formulae of AIGA 2015 that defines (time + content + context) / time = experience design, the game of wayang kulit (shadow puppet) Gatotkaca put forbattled different experience to users in exploring the information and entertainment in those media. Having the spirit of moderate Postmodernism, the design plan called User Interface which combines the modern and classic traditional elements will encourage new experience to the users (Experience Design). The design recognizes times and trends, and it keeps changing as the development of the times. The design can be a pace setter to next individuals who are called to maintain and preserve national cultures, in general, and wayang kulit purwa, in particular, through digital media. The development in the modern era will not change the identity of shadow puppet (wayang kulit) culture since it has solid foundation.

Grisel’s syndrome is a rare type of non-traumatic subluxation of an atlantoaxial joint characterized by torticollis, neck pain, and reduced neck movement. The common causes of Grisel’s syndrome are head and neck infection or post-otorhinolaryngology (ORL) procedures. We are reporting a case of a 3-year-old boy with a gradual worsening of neck stiffness, neck pain, and restricted neck movement for more than one month. The patient had no history of trauma. The computerized tomographic (CT) showed a retropharyngeal abscess with a bony erosion causing atlantoaxial subluxation. The management and progress of this patient are discussed. The objective of this case report is to emphasize that Grisel’s syndrome should be considered a differential in a painful torticollis to prompt an early diagnosis and treatment to prevent serious neurological complications.

In this modern era marked by the discovery of advanced technology, it requires a creative young generation, so that they can compete in accordance with the demands of the times. One of the areas of creativity that gets that place is creativity in creating films. Films can be used as a place to express feelings, as well as be used as a product promotion or area where the film's work is produced. This fact is strengthened by the increasing inclusion of social media such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram which provide video media in their content. To produce good film work requires a process of putting into practice the theories of filmmaking. With this film-making training, at least the members of the Matan Theater can get to know more closely what film is and can practice making good and correct films at the same time.

Crowned dens syndrome is a rare presentation of calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease. It is characterised by severe occipital pain and neck stiffness. Acute presentations are typically accompanied by fever and an inflammatory response and hence can be misdiagnosed as polymyalgia rheumatica or meningitis. Chronic relapsing presentations may be misdiagnosed as cervicogenic neck pain or occipital neuralgia. We present a patient who presented with a chronic relapsing form of crowned dens syndrome and discuss the epidemiology, typical presentation and management of this eminently treatable condition.

A 29-year-old female with past medical history of chronic serous otitis media presented with worsening neck stiffness and pain over a period of 2 weeks. The patient described non-specific symptoms that were localized to the right side of her neck. She presented to the hospital only when the pain was so extreme that it limited her range of motion. The differential for acute neck pain without fever, chills or any inciting trauma is vast. They include medical emergencies such as meningitis, acute coronary syndromes and extend to rheumatologic diseases or simply musculoskeletal strain. On review of systems, she denied dizziness, headache, vision changes, dysphagia, or other facial pain. Based on the severity of her pain, she underwent a Computed Tomography scan of the neck, which was concerning for erosive calavarial lesions. Further imaging revealed multiple lytic foci and erosions from the right maxillary sinus to the right mandible to the C1 vertebra. Following requisite surgical intervention, she was found to have Langerhans cell histiocytosis, a rare disease of myeloid cells, usually affecting pediatric populations. Little is known about the adult manifestations of Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. This review contributes to broadening the literature on this topic which can present with complaints as typical as neck pain.
