The concept of beauty and cosmetic is as old as mankind and civilization. Cosmetic product for females like sun scream, lipsticks, facial cream, nail paints, deodorants and sindoor are very popular in the market. They are generally the combination of various chemical compounds and some of them are derived from natural sources and others from synthetic method. In females regular external application of cosmetic products to improve beauty and appearance of a person which increases the self confidence. Most of the cosmetic products contains hazardous chemicals like talcum, parabens, coal, tar dye, phthalates, fragrance, tri ethanolamine and use of some heavy metals e.g. lead, mercury etc. Peoples are not aware of adverse effect of regular use of cosmetic products it accumulates in the body can cause contact dermatitis, skin disorders, allergies, hair loss and effect on nails etc. In Ayurveda cosmetic toxicity is compare to cumulative type of toxicity, so the cumulative type of toxicity is similar to Dushi Visha describes in Ayurveda.

Abstract: Obesity is an increase in body weight exceeds the limit of skeletal and physical requirements as a result of the accumulation of excess fat in the body. In the adolescents, obesity will also affect the psychosocial development including self-confidence. Adolescent obesity is shunned by her/his friends have a tendency to have low self esteem and a sense of pessimism. Self esteem is a belief to be able to behave as expected and desired. The research aimed to know the correlation self esteem in students who are obese at Rex Mundi High School Manado. This research uses retrospective observational study with cross-sectional (cross-sectional) with samples 50 people. Sampling in this study was purposive sampling. Measurement tool that was used is the self esteem scale with reliability (α) = 0.896. Then all collected data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation which supported by SPSS 20 program for windows. The results showed the self esteem in obese adolescents who are in the moderate category 26 peoples (52%). According to Pearson analysis, the result are r =  -0.676 and p = 0.000. This indicates that there is a negative correlation between self-esteem and obesity at significance level 0.05. Negative correlation means, if the variable X increases, the variable Y decreases. So the higher the obesity rate, the lower the students' confidence. Keywords: Obesity, Self-Esteem. Hubungan negatif berarti, jika variabel X meningkat maka variabel Y menurun. Jadi semakin tinggi tingkat obesitas siswa maka semakin rendah kepercayaan dirinya. Kata Kunci: Obesitas, Kepercayaan Diri.

The essay discusses selected poems from Thomas Hardy's vast body of poetry, focusing on representations of the self and the world. Employing Maurice Merleau-Ponty's concepts such as the body-subject, wild being, flesh, and reversibility, the essay offers an analysis of Hardy's poems in the light of phenomenological philosophy. It argues that far from demonstrating ‘cosmic indifference’, Hardy's poetry offers a sympathetic vision of interrelations governing the universe. The attunement with voices of the Earth foregrounded in the poems enables the self's entanglement in the flesh of the world, a chiasmatic intertwining of beings inserted between the leaves of the world. The relation of the self with the world is established through the act of perception, mainly visual and aural, when the body becomes intertwined with the world, thus resulting in a powerful welding. Such moments of vision are brief and elusive, which enhances a sense of transitoriness, and, yet, they are also timeless as the self becomes immersed in the experience. As time is a recurrent theme in Hardy's poetry, this essay discusses it in the context of dwelling, the provisionality of which is demonstrated in the prevalent sense of temporality, marked by seasons and birdsong, which underline the rhythms of the world.

The book’s epilogue explores the place of musical portraiture in the context of posthumous depictions of the deceased, and in relation to the so-called posthuman condition, which describes contemporary changes in the relationship of the individual with such aspects of life as technology and the body. It first examines Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo to view how Bernard Herrmann’s score relates to issues of portraiture and the depiction of the identity of the deceased. It then considers the work of cyborg composer-artist Neil Harbisson, who has aimed, through the use of new capabilities of hybridity between the body and technology, to convey something akin to visual likeness in his series of Sound Portraits. The epilogue shows how an examination of contemporary views of posthumous and posthuman identities helps to illuminate the ways music represents the self throughout the genre of musical portraiture.

AIMS: To verify the effectiveness of the simulation in the self-confidence of nursing students for extra-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation. METHODS: A quasi-experimental, before and after, single-group study, was performed with nursing undergraduate students. The sample was recruited among university students who were in the second or third year of graduation and accepted to participate in the research. The intervention protocol consisted of individual participation in a emergency simulated clinical scenario. The simulated scenario adopted consisted of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in extra-hospital cardiorespiratory arrest, using the Mini Anne Plus® low fidelity manikin. In addition to the sociodemographic variables, students' self-confidence for emergency action was analyzed, evaluated by the Self-Confidence Scale, before and after each simulation. Marginal and homogeneous Wilcoxon homogeneity tests were applied, and the accepted significance level was 5%.RESULTS: Thirteen two undergraduate students in nursing between the ages of 18 and 38 participated in the study. Statistically significant differences (p < 0.001) were observed in the answers of all the questions of the Self-confidence Scale when compared before and after the simulation. There was also a statistically significant increase (p < 0.001) in cardiological, respiratory and neurological scores after simulation.CONCLUSIONS: The simulation proved to be an effective educational strategy in increasing the self-confidence of nursing students to perform extra-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Current risk prioritization approaches for FMEA models are insufficient to cope with risk analysis problem in which the self-confidence of expert’s judgment and the deviation among risk evaluation information are considered, simultaneously. Therefore, to remedy this limitation, this paper reports an extended risk prioritization approach by integrating the MULTIMOORA approach, Z-numbers and power weighted average (PWA) operator. Firstly, the Z-numbers with triangular fuzzy numbers are applied to reflect the self-confidence and uncertainty of expert’s judgment. Next, the PWA operator for Z-numbers (Z-PWA) with similarity measure is proposed to obtain the group risk evaluation matrix by considering the influence of the deviation among risk evaluation information. Then, an extended version of MULTIMOORA method with developed entropy method is presented to calculate risk priority ranking order of each failure. Finally, the equipment failures in a certain oil and gas plant is utilized to test the extended risk prioritization approach for FMEA model. After that, the sensitivity and comparison studies are led to illustrate the availability and reliability of the proposed risk prioritization approach for FMEA based risk analysis problem.
