Abstract: Introduction- It is interesting to know that the one third one a human’s life is spent on sleeping. Sleep is an essential aspect when it comes to growth and development of living beings; as many of the vital physiological processes occur during sleep. As far as Ayurveda is concerned, sleep i.e. Nidra is considered as one of the three pillars of life. It is called as Bhootadhatri by Ayurvedic texts as it is considered as an important part on one’s lifestyle. Quality sleep is an indicator of good health as it relives stress and refreshes the body. Adequate hours of sleeping is required for all the levels of wellbeing such as mental, physical and emotional. Ayurveda being a science of life, explains daily routine and regimens to be followed by individuals to stay healthy. Nidra being a day to day phenomenon, ayurvedic texts have detailed information about its definition, types, physiology and health benefits. Aim- To understand the significance of Nidra as a Upastambha i.e.pillar of life.     Objectives- To review the ayurvedic and modern literature regarding sleep. To understand physiology of sleep according to ayurvedic and modern texts. To understand the role of quality sleep in maintaining health. Key words: Nidra, Upastambha, Sleep, Ayurveda.

- Linguistic Sedimentation, and Bodily Inscription At present, we are exposed to an excessive offer of images, which raises a problem of assimilation. Subjects are increasingly passive, in ways that can border on pathological conditions. Yet, it is not so much a question of condemning this situation as of finding a way of re-symbolizing images, saving them from mere contemplation and inserting them in a process of contextualisation. Such a process requires an understanding of the role of the body and of the incorporation of images along the lines of Bachelard's intuition of the "resisting" nature of images. This raises the possibility of an education to images suited to the present age.Key words: Alienation, Education, Embodiment, Image, Informatics, Symbolisation.Parole chiave: Alienazione, Educazione, Immagine, Incorporazione, Informatica, Simbolizzazione.

This review provides an analysis of the cellular basis of the pathogenesis of various diseases in the light of the regulatory role of T-lymphocytes. The role of the polyclonal diversity of the population of T-lymphocytes, the special properties of these cells-representatives of the homeostatic system of the body, in physiological processes in health and disease is considered. Prospects for therapeutic and prophylactic effects associated with the use of total RNA of normal lymphoid cells of allogeneic and xenogenic origin are indicated. The possibility of creating, using lymphocytic total RNA, adequate models of human diseases for the development of personalized medicine is also indicated.

The nervous system is intimately involved in physiological processes from development and growth to tissue homeostasis and repair throughout the body. It logically follows that the nervous system has the potential to play analogous roles in the context of cancer. Progress toward understanding the crucial role of the nervous system in cancer has accelerated in recent years, but much remains to be learned. Here, we highlight rapidly evolving concepts in this burgeoning research space and consider next steps toward understanding and therapeutically targeting the neural regulation of cancer.

The language of the holy Quran is a cohesive system where all verbal and semantics components are linked to service his regulatory contract which is (Al-Tawhid). The purpose that the quranic text being to coherently and harmoniously is to determine the meaning of (LA ILLAHA ILA ELLAH). And if we come to his style we fnd it combine between which is informative and aesthetic with a confutable goal; it means that it’s with argumentative dimensions, and exiting the measurement of language in it serve semantics purposes, this made him a pragmatic discourse applicable in every time and place. Hence the following problematic arose: How the system style is structured in the one of language? And if we can speak about other functions of style non-aesthetic one? And how the role of the style is explicit in supporting the argumentative intention? I adopted the descriptive approach to answer these questions, with the help of analysis to achieve the goal of this research which is: to indicate that what consist the quranic discourse of miraculous methods isn’t for just an aesthetic purpose, but for the argumentative one. Key words: The style, The argumentation, The argumentative function, The deviation

We consider the process of hemodialysis performed by means of a hollow fiber dialyzer with a special focus on the dynamics of the light solutes (including metabolic waste products) through the porous fibers membrane. The model we illustrate here completes the one formulated in a previous paper in which solutes concentrations in the dialyzate were neglected. Exploiting the large difference between the characteristic time of the processes in the machine and the relaxation time to equilibrium in the body, we confine our study to the case of constant input data in order to emphasize the role of the solute transport mechanisms. Numerical solutions show that diffusion is dominant at the early stage of filtration.

Lev Tolstoy’s short story “Khodynka”reflects the tragical events of Nikolay II’s coronation. The story was written during a day but it had been prepared for a long time. Tolstoy put down notes in his Diary, read lots of publications about Khodynka, listened to the eyewitnesses. He underlined that “The psychology of this event is very complicated” – the current entertainment changed into tragedy. The protagonist who hurried into Khodynka, at first dreamt only of winning a ticket, afterwards he became embittered and tried to release from the crowd. But the child’s rescue and then the one of Rina caused some new feeling in his soul which exalted him from the daily routine. The article studies the literary peculiarities of the story, the development of the motif of joy, originalityof the portrait, the role of the details, of irony, etc. Some parallels are marked between the stories ofV.Krasnov and F.Sologub.

The aim of this article is to demonstrate how body-representations offer an opportunity for its visual interpretation from a biographical point of view, enhancing, on the one hand, the image’s own narrative dynamics, and, on the other, the role of the body as a place of incorporation of experiences, as well as, a vehicle mediating the individual interaction with the world. Perspective founded in the works of the artists Helena Almeida and Jorge Molder, who use self-representation as an expression of these incorporated (lived) experiences, constitutes an important discursive construction and structuring of their narrative identity through visual creation, the artists enable the other with moments of sharing knowledge, creativity and subjectivity, contributing also to the construction of the contemporary, cultural and social imagery.

For a tree to stand erect with its branches, its roots must be strengthened by nourishing them timely such that the whole tree receives proper nourishment for its growth and development. Similarly, the Tridoshas, Saptha Dhatus and Tri-Malas are the roots strengthening this body when nourished timely. The Dosha-Dhatu-Mala in their state of normalcy enhances the strength of the body which is inferred through their respective physiological functions. This is achieved under the influence of two factors that is- Ahara and Agni. Ayurveda has endowed the function of thermogenesis and metabolism in the body to Agni. Proper functioning of Agni is responsible for all the metabolic activities in the body. Thereby, Agnimandya is said to be the root cause for all the diseases, as it results in the formation of Ama affecting the Rasavaha Srotas initially. The Ama Lakshanas resemble with the Rasapradoshaja Vikaras. Kapha Dosha is said to be the Asrayee in Rasa Dhatu and thereby the Rasa Vruddhi Lakshanas are similar to that of Kapha Vruddhi Lakshanas. So the Chikitsa as mentioned for Kapha Dosha can be implemented in Vruddhi/Kshaya of Rasa Dhatu. Shodhana without Ama-Pachana results in further complication. Therefore the line of treatment revolves around Srotoshodhana, Pachana, Agnideepana and Vatanulomana.

The main purpose of this study was to identify the types of water and other drinks used for hydration by those who perform movement activities and also to analyze the quality of these drinks. As a result of performing movement activities, through perspiration, a greater or lesser amount of water is lost from the body. Along with this, a number of nutrients are lost. Given these aspects, the main objective of the research was to understand more correctly, what is involved in proper hydration, which are the factors that must be taken into account to maintain good health. We analyzed and compared the level of the main electrolytes and carbohydrates for different categories of drinks and also measured with the help of two specific devices the level of purity and pH of three categories of drinking water. We indicated general values regarding the ratio of water consumption to weight on the one hand, and on the other hand, we indicated the indicative quantities that should be consumed before, during and after performing medium-level physical effort. As a general conclusion, the importance of sodium, alkaline water and high water purity was highlighted in relation to the categories of beverages analyzed in this study.
