This study examines the implementation of moral education in QS. Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in Sayyid Qutb's Tafsir Fi Zilalil Quran. The purpose of this research is to describe the messages and values ​​of moral education as contained in the letter Al-Hujurat verses 11-13. The benefits of this research are theoretically expected to provide a small contribution of thought or input that is useful for Islamic education, while practically this research is expected to provide a little contribution of thought, especially for researchers and readers in general in understanding the contents of the content or values ​​in the letter. Al-Hujurat verses 11-13. The data collection method in this thesis research is a qualitative method through searching data or library research, library data collection methods, reading and processing research materials. The source of the commentary book Fi Zhilalil Qur'an is supported by secondary sources which are related to the problem. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that: The values ​​of moral education contained in the Al-Hujurat verse 11-13 in the interpretation of Fi Zhilalil qur'an, namely the prohibition of making fun of, criticizing, calling badly, haram and prejudice , backbiting, finding fault with others and equality and ta'aruf. The study found that there are three types of interpretation used by sayyid qutub. The methods used are takhalli, tahalli and tajalli.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam hadis tentang anjuran menceritakan kisah Bani Israil, yaitu hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam al-Tirmidzi nomor 2873. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka (<em>library research</em>). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode dokumentasi. Kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode <em>deskriptif-analitik</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan <em>takhr</em><em>ij al-hadits</em>, redaksi hadis tersebut dapat dijadikan <em>hujjah </em>karena termasuk dalam kategori hadis <em>sahih</em>. Melalui ilmu <em>ma‘ani al-</em><em>hadits</em> didapati bahwa secara lingusitik hadis tersebut berisikan perintah yang berlaku bagi umat muslim untuk memberitakan apa yang dibawa oleh Nabi, memberitakan Bani Israil, dan larangan berdusta. Melalui pendekatan historis ditemukan bahwa hadis ini disabdakan Nabi karena sudah tidak ada kekhawatiran terhadap akidah Bani israil yang menyimpang. Melalui pendekatan konfirmatif didapati banyak ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dan hadis yang mendukung hadis yang diteliti. Melalui pendekatan yuridis didapati bahwa berbohong adalah termasuk dari akhlak tercela yang membahayakan individu dan masyarakat. Melalui pendekatan etis didapati bahwa Islam merupakan agama yang sempurna, dan selalu mengajak pemeluknya untuk bersikap dengan akhlak mulia dan menjauhi akhklak tercela. Setelah melakukan kontekstualisasi hadis, hasil analisis menunjukkan hadis tersebut relevan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam, yaitu nilai pendidikan akidah, syariat, dan akhlak.</p><p> </p><p>[<strong>Islamic Education Values in the Hadith about the Suggestion of Telling the Story of Israel’s Children: the Study of Ma‘ani al-Hadith. </strong>This study aims to reveal the values of Islamic education in the hadith about the suggestion of telling the story of Israel’s children, which is the hadith narrated by Imam al-Tirmidzi number 2873. This type of research was library research. The data collection method used was the documentation method. Then it was analyzed using descriptive-analytic methods. The results showed that with <em>takhr</em><em>ij al-hadith</em>, the editorial of the hadith could be made as <em>hujja </em>(allegation of law) because it belongs to the category of <em>s</em><em>hahih hadith</em> (authentic hadith). Through the science of <em>ma‘ani al-hadi</em><em>th</em> it was found that linguistically this hadith contains instructions that apply to Muslims to preach what was brought by the Prophet, preach the Children of Israel, and the prohibition of lying. Through a historical approach, it is found that this hadith was conveyed by the Prophet because there were no worries about the deviant creed of the Children of Israel. Through a confirmatory approach, it is found that many verses of the Qur’an and hadith support the hadith under study. Through a juridical approach, it is found that lying is among the despicable morals that endanger individuals and society. Through an ethical approach, it was found that Islam is a perfect religion, and always invites its adherents to behave with noble morals and avoid despicable morality. After contextualizing the hadith, the results of the analysis show that the hadith is relevant to the values of Islamic education, namely the value of the education of faith, sharia, and morals.]</p>

The research aims to describe the functions of humor used in an American comedy movie The Boss. The subject of the research was American comedy movie The Boss. Descriptive qualitative method was used to conduct the research. Data collection was done through library research and documentation. Data analysis was done through identification, coding, classification and description. The researcher found several findings. Supported by Meyers theory of joke, there are 6 functions of jokes found in the movie such as to insult someone, to express anger, to tease someone, to relieve tension, to get attention, and to amuse others. The dominant function was differentiation particularly to insult and to express anger 21 times, the second was clarification particularly to relieve tension humorous lines and amuse others 15 times, the third was enforcement particularly to tease 18 times, and the last was identification particularly to relieve tension and to get attention 27 times. These functions were also analyzed and discriminated by different setting and participant based on formality and participants distance. According to the analysis, most jokes occurred in informal situation with intimate relationship among the participants and functioned to tease someone and to relieve tension. This finding also proves that American humor is expressed with more slapstick and vulgarity as the characteristic of American humor used in daily communication. <p><em>Wayang (puppet) is one of Javanese culture form which was originally a cult of the local religion. Wayang has a dimension of spirituality that meets cultural aesthetics. This article focuses on how wayang is used as a preaching medium in the context of the spread of Islam, especially on the Java island and the values of virtue found in wayang stories. This research is a type of library research. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The data in this study is in the form of information on the process of Islamization for traditional Javanese people; the information is from books, literature, journals, and newspapers. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. Through analysis of the data, the results obtained are: (1) The names of wayang characters contain Islamic philosophical meanings; (2) The wayang stories modified are packed with deep story themes containing Islamic/divine content; (3) The wayang stories had been modified by Walisanga include virtue religious values, leadership values, and human or social values.</em></p><p><br /><em>Wayang merupakan salah satu wujud budaya masyarakat Jawa yang pada mulanya merupakan pemujaan agama lokal. Wayang memiliki dimensi spiritualitas yang bertemu dengan estetika budaya. Artikel ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana wayang digunakan sebagai media dakwah dalam rangka penyebaran agama Islam khususnya di pulau Jawa dan nilai-nilai keutamaan yang terdapat dalam cerita wayang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi. Data dalam penelitian ini berwujud informasi proses islamisasi masyarakat tradisional Jawa yang berasal dari buku, literatur, jurnal, dan surat kabar. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Melalui analisis data tersebut, diperoleh hasil berupa: (1) Nama-nama tokoh pewayangan mengandung makna filosofis islami; (2) Cerita pewayangan mengalami modifikasi dikemas dengan tema cerita lebet yang memuat konten islami/ketuhanan; (3) Cerita pewayangan yang dimodifikasi para walisanga mengandung nilai keutamaan, yakni: nilai religius, nilai kepemimpinan, dan nilai kemanusiaan atau sosial.</em></p>

This study aims to describe Moral Education in the Perspective of Al-Ghazali, Kohlberg and Thomas Lichona. The thoughts of these figures have different perspectives on concepts, theories, methodologies and applications that are relevant to character development and character education in accordance with the context of Indonesian education. This type of research is library research. Data collection techniques using the method of analysis along with data analysis of content. Moral Education In the Perspective of Al-Ghazali, Kohlberg and Thomas Lichona have a different approach. Moral education built by al-Ghazali is through the approach of the story method (saga), and exemplary (uswah al hasanah). Kholberg further described the moral stages of children in accordance with the level of cognitive development. Thomas Lickona analyzed three important components in building character education, namely moral knowing, moral feeling and moral action.

  This article discusses waqf: fiqh review, legal basis and its implementation in Indonesia. This study was written using qualitative method with library study as its approach. Data source is in the form of library publications (Library Research). Data types are written narrations or documents contained in publication sources. Data collection techniques are carried out by tracking the sources of such publications. Data analysis techniques use description analysis. The results of this study show that waqf is reviewed in terms of fiqh, legal basis and its implementation in Indonesia has a mutually reinforcing relationship. From these findings, it can be concluded that waqf as an Islamic fiscal instrument has a strong foundation in terms of fiqh and ushul fiqh and its implementation, especially in Indonesia.

In Islamic education, the granting of punishment and reward is permitted based on the Quran and Sunnah by maintaining aspects of tarbiyah. This study aims to discuss how effective the application of reward and punishment systems in motivating someone's performance in general, be it students, employees. And as a religious individual, especially for those who are Muslim, how does the effect of implementing this reward and punishment system increase faith and good deeds or avoid evil. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include library research, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, and data verification. The results showed that the forms of rewards given included rewarding someone who excelled in an action, were able to improve the person's performance motivation in the future and could motivate others to do the same good.On the other hand, punishment is also important to apply including giving advice and guidance, showing a sour face, giving a hard rebuke, and giving additional tasks, such as memorizing the surah or short verses from the Quran or hadith, is also able to prevent someone from doing negative things and try not to repeat negative things in the future.

Basically, effective moral education which concerns with affective aspect can prevent the immoral culture that occur around the community. The Education implemented in domiciliary, school, and society can influence and form one’s morality. The immoral culture, nowadays, that has spreaded in young generation, reflects to people’s live. The parents, the expert of education and those who concern with religion and social skill, lately, are confused with teenagers’ behaviour. They are uncontrollable, naughty, stubborn, trouble maker, immoral, brawls, drug, even piracy, rape, murder, and other abandoned acts. These problems need to be solved immediately. While theoritical moral education is not enough  to overcome these such actions, but the teenagers require model as sample in their real life. This research in the form of content analysis is a series of activities relating to library data collection methods. A series of activities relating to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. Data analysis in this study was carried out through a process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained. It reflects moral education is very crucial to be encouraged especially for early childhood
