This research departs from the assumption that generally the public only comprehend artists only when they appear on stage, They do not realize their creative activities while they are staying at home. The focus of this research is the community of gamelan musicians and dancers who settled in kampong Kemlayan, Surakarta from 1930-1970. The method used in this study is the historical method including heuristics, source verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the research showed that the palace artists in Kasunanan Surakarta considered that the kampong where they live was not only a place to live but also a place where they can practice and rehearse before they performed in the palace in front of their King or in other public spaces. It is in their small kampong that they cultivate creativity without strict rules like in the palace. New gendhings (gamelan songs) and choreographies were born in this kampong. This had strengthened the kampong’s identity as the “breeder” of productive artists. For decades, lots of karawitan and dance activities in Kemlayan had changed its face. It was like a “stage” that invited the people’s and local children’s attention. The plenty activities had attracted and encouraged the local children to join the activities. In this way, regeneration process was taking place.

For the initial development of the theory of lodging, the focus was on guest behavior in a hotel room. The theory is expanded to encompass the guest behavior in the entire hotel facility, including entrance into the lobby, private usage of the room, and time spent in such areas as the restaurant, lounge, gift shop, gym, spa, function rooms, and so on. The theory began with the observed differences in human behavior while at home versus during an overnight stay at a commercial lodging establishment. Further consideration is given to the guest behavior inside the public spaces of a hotel, which is beyond the privacy of the guest room but still within the protective boundary of the hotel building itself, and which is all a part of the lodging experience.

Between the 1991 Gulf War and the 1996 bombing at the Atlanta Olympics Centennial Park, the public is becoming increasingly aware of the potential dangers of public spaces at home and abroad. Federal efforts designed to deal with the threat of terrorism and to quell fear have included the 1996 Anti-Terrorism Act with its provisions for severe penalties for terrorism along with funds for the increased use of high-tech surveillance equipment. At the local level including courts, hospitals, and schools, physical barriers and bomb- and weapon-detecting monitors have become commonplace. Dogs often are overlooked in the efforts to protect public space. This article addresses the history of dogs as an agent of social control and offers suggestions for further research.

The pre-hospital treatment mechanism is carried out through stopping transmission by educating the public, keeping physical distance when communicating, staying at home, wearing masks, isolating oneself, and implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (SPBS). The main goal is of course to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. The research method used is library research, namely research data based on indexed previous research journals, both national and international. This first mechanism is strengthened by conducting contact tracing of positive confirmation cases. Its success really depends on public participation in addressing the Covid-19 problem, especially by following government regulations. The treatment mechanism in the hospital is carried out by maximizing the services provided to patients, especially Covid-19 patients. Ensure patients get the best service and nurses who are safe from the possibility of contracting Covid-19 from patients. Suggestions to cut the chain of covid-19 transmission from the hospital, namely people with Covid-19 infection will be quarantined in a special room as long as there is no vaccine. This need for quarantine is carried out to make it easier for medical personnel to monitor the condition of patients, as well as to prevent transmission of Covid-19 to other people, including medical personnel who are in charge of caring for them. If a Covid-19 sufferer with mild symptoms, such as a fever below 38 degrees Celsius, does not experience acute respiratory problems, and can still carry out normal activities, can self-quarantine or self-quarantine at home.

This chapter considers the relationship between Quintilian’s teachings on rhetoric and the artistic milieu of Imperial Rome at the time in which he was writing. It sketches out the deeply philhellenic culture of the Empire, which fostered admiration for the performing arts, and discusses to what extent the public spaces in which the art of rhetoric was performed influenced public oratory and the orators’ dramatic and vocal techniques themselves.
