The purpose of this paper is to investigate the semantic issues and problems related to nouns that some translators in their translation of the Holy Quran, couldn't translate it successfully such as Abdullah Yusuf and Souleymane Kanté. Although they did a great effort and their translation is successful but they fail to convey the meaning to some nouns. The researcher tried to introduce some suggestions to improve translation of nouns in the Holy Quran by explaining some of these issues, and not to undermine these translations.As the terminology of the Quran reflects the history of the rise of a monotheistic religion in Arabia, the terminology of its translation into Maninka reflects the long history of islamization of the Manding-speaking peoples, Souleymane Kanté's translation as an example.  On the other hand, some Arabic translations to English are also available, Abdullah Yusuf's translation as an example.The researcher investigated troubles these two translators face in translating the Holy Quran by providing some examples. It was clear that Yusufs' translation based on finding equivalent of nouns of the Quran in the target culture which is not always available, while Kante's translation based on that there are many words in the target language which can stand for any noun in the Holy Quran.The researcher concludes that Kante's translation is better and more professional because languages develops and translators must always find equivalent words in the target culture to convey the meaning they are seeking to explain.

This study deals with the Quranic treatment of extremism in terms of extremisms concept and semantics, types, causes, images,  and the Quranic approach in its treatment, and we try to link the Muslim to the Quran approach in the treatment of extremism as a problem which the individual and the old and new society suffer; Because extremism can be transformed from mere idea to apparent behavior while demonstrating that extremism in fact transcends the rules of law and divine orders, it is excessive in the commitment to religion on the one hand or negligence in adhering to it, on the other hand, it is not always concerned with bringing the matter but also enters into relinquishing. In addition to the need to be warned that extremism is a method of religiosity and not religion itself, and Islam with its centrist approach rejects such practices and seeks to address them through the curriculum of the Holy Quran

This paper attempts to highlight the will power and wisdom of Hazrat Umar(R.A) in solving the problems he faced in his life. It highlights that how he sought guidance from Quranic verses on different occasions to settle different problems during his caliphate. On one hand this paper illustrates his intelligence and on the other hand it invites us to see guidance from the Holy Quran in daily life affairs. The rationale of present research is that the researcher felt a dire need to follow the footsteps of Hazrat Umar (RA) . So that all the Muslims should seek guidance from the Holy Quran as was done by Hazrat Umar(RA) . A lot of books on lives of companions (SahabaKiram RA) and history of Islam urge the Muslims to follow his footsteps in gaining determinations and forethought. Moreover, this paper focusses different aspects of Hazrat Umar (RA)’s life such as the conceding of Qasar prayer during sea voyage, religious freedom, decision about Landin the conquered territory and rights of minorities in the Muslim state have also been discussed. All these issues which have been discussed in relation to Hazrat Umar (RA)’s life have a close association with the reformation of society. Ignorance of Hazrat Umar (RA)’s examplary life may lead the muslim society to degradation. The findings suggest that in difficult situationsmuslim society must follow Hazrat Umar (RA)’s footsteps.

Abstract: Jansen is a researcher that classifies the work of interpretation (tafsîr) into: firstly, an interpretation adopting a modern science but not oppose against the holy Quran, it is called tafsîr  al-‘ilmî. Secondly, an interpretation that is designed to help reader understand the holy Quran or philological interpretation (al-tafsîr  al-lughawî). Thirdly, an interpretation dealing with the Muslim deed and it is called practical interpretation (tafsîr  al-adabî al-ijtimâ’î). Jansen is about to display a short description that covers the answers of explanation inadequacy of the previous researchers’ studies. He mainly clarifies  the history of interpretation and western studies on interpretation developing in Islamic world. As a matter of fact, Jansen’s view is majorly a kind of beginning critical of his attention on interpretation. He focuses the research object on the interpretation of Muhammad Abduh, then he compares it to the other intrepretations that are considered up to standard to be classified into his work of interpretation.   Key Words: al-Qur’ân, tafsîr, dan Jansen

In life, the value given to the opinion of the majority in each aspect and keeping the literate people equal to illiterate is totally wrong. In the contemporary era, this idea is being represented by western democracy. Considering this concept, we have reviewed this idea in the light of teachings of the Holy Quran, and it is concluded that the Holy Quran and the practices of its first instructor; the Prophet (peace be upon him) of Islam does not support this philosophy. It is a purely human-made idea. On the other hand, the divine source of guidance- Islam guides us to give value and to take into consideration the merit, real abilities and capabilities of the human being rather than their mere count. It is concluded in the paper that all matters should be judged based on merit as well as issues should be decided with mutual consultation of the men of intellect, rather than on a majority and minority basis. Merely number game is not the logical way to decide issues. It is the only and the right way, otherwise, ultimate personal and communal failure will be our destiny.

    This study shows the legislative miracles in Ayah Debt and Ayah Mortgage and also it shows the accuracy of the Koran in the issues which is related to religious questions of Mortgage. The study dealt with the issue of writing the debt and the related rules for the debtor, lender and the writer of the debt; therefore, the right will not be lost and to achieve the goal of the act of debt which is gain the good form God and even not regret for debiting and lose reward from God. So, the debtor should state and recognize the right to give back the lender his money in the agreed time. At the same time, the Ayah stated the right of the debtor not to be exploited for his weakness or for his weak needs. As it stated also the indications that are harmful to the debtor from his or her inability to payback the debt, there are those who represent the debtor to payback the debt. The second topic discusses the issue that; in order to increase the creditability and guardianship and the preservation of rights, the verses stated the issue of witness, witnesses are either two men or men and two women and in view of the testimony of two women modify the testimony of one man which is very wise: to take into account the status of women in forgetfulness commensurate with her high profession and mandate The Lord has her motherhood and caring for her children. The Ayah stated the importance of attendance of the witnesses when it is needed for the preservation of rights, if necessary. The third topic deals with the issue of trade and writing of trade and showing the similarity between debt and trade in the term and the possibility of ignorance or forgetfulness. In order to avoid the conflicts and problems writing and witness were applied too. To achieve balance in the control of rights, the Ayah came to emphasize the piety because it is the only deterrent to those who violate the Gods’ ordered. As for traveling, the situation is different in urban areas, the possibility of the availability of the writer and the witnesses is almost weak, consequently to protect the rights in debt and trusteeship is discussed in the fourth topic. The mortgage is a means of preserving the rights and be away from conflicts and dispute. On the other hand; in the case trusteeship were it must be given to a trustful person, and the in case of payback the debt without writing or certification or mortgage; the fear of God is enough to justify the rights.

This article examines the nature and frequency of comments about Jews and Judaism in sermons delivered by Confessing Church pastors in the Nazi dictatorship.  The approach of most historians has focused on the history of antisemitism in the German Protestant tradition—in the works, pronouncements, and policies of the German churches and its leading figures.  Yet historians have left unexamined the most elemental task of the pastor—that is, preaching from the pulpit to the German people.  What would the average German congregant have heard from his pastor about the Jews and Judaism on any given Sunday?  I searched German archives, libraries, and used book stores, and analyzed 910 sermon manuscripts that were produced and disseminated in the Nazi regime.  I argue that these sermons provide mixed messages about Jews and Judaism.  While on the one hand, the sermons express admiration for Judaism as a foundation for Christianity, an insistence on the usage of the Hebrew Bible in the German churches, and the conviction that the Jews are spiritual cousins of Christians.  On the other hand, the sermons express religious prejudice in the form of anti-Judaic tropes that corroborated the Nazi ideology that portrayed Jews and Judaism as inferior: for instance, that Judaism is an antiquated religion of works rather than grace; that the Jews killed Christ and have been punished throughout history as a consequence.  Furthermore, I demonstrate that Confessing Church pastors commonly expressed anti-Judaic statements in the process of criticizing the Nazi regime, its leadership, and its policies.

Is friendship still possible under nihilistic conditions? Kant and Nietzsche are important stages in the history of the idealization of friendship, which leads inevitably to the problem of nihilism. Nietzsche himself claims on the one hand that only something like friendship can save us in our nihilistic condition, but on the other hand that precisely friendship has been unmasked and become impossible by these very conditions. It seems we are struck in the nihilistic paradox of not being allowed to believe in the possibility of what we cannot do without. Literary imagination since the 19th century seems to make us even more skeptical. Maybe Beckett provides an illustration of a way out that fits well to Nietzsche's claim that only "the most moderate, those who do not require any extreme articles of faith" will be able to cope with nihilism.

Celakovsky and Bower, on the other hand, maintaint the view tha t the sporophyte, as an interpolated stage in the life-history arising by elaboration of the zygote, a few thallophytes.

The Irish land act of 1881, it is generally agreed, was a victory for the Land League and Parnell, and nationalist policy with regard to the act and the attitude of southern tenants towards it have been many times subjected to detailed examination by historians of this period. In these analyses of the events of 1880–81, however, little reference is normally made to the part played by the different parties and interests in the north of the country. It is often assumed, for example, that the Ulster tenants held aloof from the campaign for reform, lending no more than occasional vocal support to the agitational efforts of tenants in the south and west. Indeed, they were later excoriated by William O'Brien, Michael Davitt and others not only for giving no support to the land movement but also for sabotaging Parnell's policy of testing the 1881 act by precipitately rushing into the land courts to take advantage of the new legislation: ‘that hard-fisted body of men, having done nothing themselves to win the act, thought of nothing but turning it to their own immediate use, and repudiating any solidarity with the southern and western rebels to whom they really owed it’. If, however, northern tenants were harshly judged by nationalist politicians in the years after 1881, the part played by the northern political parties in the history of the land bill has been either ignored or misunderstood by historians since that time. The Ulster liberals, for example, are rarely mentioned, the implication being that they made no contribution to the act even though it implemented almost exactly the programme on which they had been campaigning for much of the previous decade. The northern conservatives, on the other hand, are commonly seen as leading opponents of the bill, more intransigent than their party colleagues in the south, ‘quick to denounce any weakening of the opposition’ to reform, and ‘determined to keep the tory party up to the mark in defending the landlord interest’
