Changes in the funding and delivery of Ph.D educational management programmes at the university level, in recent years has resulted to significant changes in the role performance of Ph.D supervisors for successful completion rates. This paper assessed the role performance of supervisors of Ph.D in education management research. The purpose of the study was to specifically determine the role performance of Ph.D supervisors in formulation of the study, establishing the methods of study, discussing the results, presentation of seminars and conferences, publication of journal articles and writing of the dissertation in universities of North Eastern Nigeria. Six research questions guided the study. A sample size of 180 comprising of 80 Ph.D supervisors and 100 Ph.D students was utilized for the study. Data was collected using a researcher developed instrument from the six variables of Ph.D supervisor’s role performance. The findings of the study show that Ph.D supervisors role performance in formulating the study, establishing the methods of study, discussing the results, presentation of seminars and conferences, publication of journal articles, writing of dissertation and general role performance was high. The study concluded that Ph.D supervisors performed their general role performance in all the stages of supervision for timely and successful completion rates in education management research. The study recommended assessment of the student’s role performance for successful and timely Ph.D educational management research completion rates in North Eastern Nigeria.

The article analyzes the topic of scientific production of Ukrainian scientists, which discusses the methodology of research on the problems of education management in the period from the second half of the twentith century to the beginning of the twenty-first century. The sample of analyzed scientific literature incorporated the peculiarities of the development of methodological knowledge and theory of methodology for the study of educational management problems in Ukrainian science. Scientific and methodological literature, monographs, theses and articles on the methodology of pedagogical research, which is the basis of the methodology of educational management research, are included in the review in addition to scientific products devoted directly to the methodology of educational management research. Some studies on the methodology of cognition and research methodology of other sciences, which include the subject of education management, were also analyzed. The direction of the topic, the dynamics of its change and distribution are considered, the comparison with the subject of scientific production on the methodology of research of other humanities, the methodology of pedagogical research, etc. are observed according to the periods defined by the author. The conclusions are based on the obtained results in general features of the development of methodological knowledge in accordance with the logic of science development. It has been found out that the concept of “methodology” has appeared in the titles of publications since the 1980-s, which testifies to the separation of methodology from the philosophy and logic of science and its recognition by scientists as an independent scientific field. The revealed changes in the directions of the topic illustrate that the formation of theoretical knowledge is preceded by the accumulation of empirical knowledge. The development of methodology of the research of education management problems, its formation features are outlined. The thematic of periods and types of science products are systematized. Particular attention is drawn to finding out which components of methodological knowledge manifest the peculiarities of methodology up to the specific science field. The specifics of methodology of education management problems research are identified for the tasks and the subject of the research in the field of education management. Sebagai salah satu problem yang sering muncul dalam proses pembelajaran tentang bagaimana pola hubungan antara guru dan peserta didik. Kaidah Kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim perlu diimplementasikan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Eksistensi pelaksanaan manajemen pendidikan yang terkandung dalam kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim sebagaimana yang diterapkan dalam lembaga-lembaga pendidikan. seperti apa yang sudah diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa Manajemen Pendidikan dalam kitab Ta’lim al-muta’allim sangatlah bagus diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan saat ini. Pengajaran tentang cara menjadi seorang siswa dan guru yang baik. Pemikiran dan keyakinan Syekh Az Zarnuji tentan kaifiyah etika menuntut ilmu yang itu semua dapat meraih kemanfaatan dan keberkahan ilmu. Manajemen pendidikan yang mengamalkan kaidah kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim di SMP Plus Ar Rahmat tentang Pembiasaan karakter yang di terapkan dalam kaidah Ta’lim al-Muta’allim adalah kejujuran, kedisiplinan, kerja keras, fokus kepada tujuan, pantang menyerah, kesederhanaan, menghargai proses, pentingnya keseimbangan ihtiar lahir dan batin, need of achievment, dan beberapa filosofi hidup dan motto yang berisi motivasi. Eksistensi manajemen pendidikan kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim di Ar-Rahmat yang masih begitu eksis pelaksanaannya.As one of the problems often arising in the learning process on the pattern of relationships between teachers and students, the rules of the so-called Ta'lim al-Muta'allim need to be implemented in educational institutions. The implementation of education management contained in the Ta'lim a-Muta'allim as applied in educational institutions as what implemented by the principal. The results of the study show that the education management in the Ta'limul Muta'allim is extremely important applied in educational institutions today. It teaches on how to be a good student and teacher. The thoughts of Syekh Az Zarnuji on the ethics of studying in addition to achieving the benefits and blessings of knowledge. Educational management that practices the rules as contained in the Ta'lim al-Muta'allim in Ar Rahmat about the character habituation is honesty, discipline, hard work, focus on goals, never give up, simplicity, respect for the process, the importance of balance of physical and spiritual exercise, need of achievement, and several life philosophies and mottos that contain motivation.

Since its establishment in 2018, Christian education management has begun to develop continuously in the educational context of Indonesia. However, it still requires studying more. Accordingly, this research aims to investigate how the department of Christian education management may be developed at the Christian higher education. The qualitative research, in particular, a case study was conducted to investigate the topic. Seven participants were involved and a manual book of Christian educational management department was used as the source of data. Based on the result of the study, it was found four themes that need to pay attention seriously in order to develop further the department of Christian educational management in Christian higher education, namely vision, mission, purpose, curriculum, collaboration, and alumnus. On the other side, for improving the knowledge on the management of Christian education organizations, contributions of this study for further research, practitioners and policy-makers are provided AbstrakSemenjak berdirinya pada tahun 2018, manajemen pendidikan Kristen telah mulai berkembang secara berkelanjutan pada konteks pendidikan Indonesia. Namun, bidang tersebut masih membutuhkan pengkajian lebih lanjut. Sekaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi bagaimana program studi manajemen pendidikan Kristen dapat dikembangkan di pergururuan tinggi Kristen. Penelitian kualitatif, sebuah studi kasus, dilakukan untuk menginvestigasi topik tersebut. Sebanyak tujuh informan dilibatkan dan sebuah buku pedoman Prodi manajemen pendidikan Kristen digunakan sebagai sumber data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, studi ini menemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa tema penting yang perlu menjadi perhatian serius untuk pengembangan sebuah program studi manajemen pendidikan Kristen di perguruan tinggi Kristen, yakni visi, misi, tujuan kurikulum, kerja sama, dan lulusan. Di lain pihak, untuk peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan organisasi-organisasi pendidikan Kristen, kontribusi studi ini untuk peneliti selanjutnya, praktisi, dan pengambil kebijakan disajikan.

Educational management is an important reference in the management of industrial-based Islamic boarding schools. When the management of a leader must go through several things, including planning, organizing, and planning industry-based learning. This research includes a qualitative descriptive approach to da'wah management. The data source used in this research is a literature review. Collecting data in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. Islamic boarding school Darussalam Al-Fatah Cilacap is an industry-based Islamic boarding school. This was done to follow developments in the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, researchers feel it is important for the management of Islamic education at the Darussalam Al-Fatah Islamic boarding school in Cilacap. The results of the application of Islamic education management include, a) soroggan, with the bin-nazhr method, the tahfidz method, the talaqqi method, and the tikrar method, b) taddabur, c) habituation of the Hasbanah and Isyraq prayers, d) rewards for students, e ) the application of industrial learning, and f) the benefits of evaluating industry-based learning at the Darussalam Al-Fatah Cilacap Islamic boarding school.

The article aims to consider the problem of implementing distance learning at the micro-meso and macro levels. In the study, the authors rely on a systematic approach. Using the example of studies of the results of the introduction of distance learning during the pandemic, the problems faced by educational organizations at the regional level are shown. The actualization of the need for regional analysis led the authors to the conclusion that the issue is insufficiently developed at the macro level of administration of the process of implementing distance learning. The article also raises questions about the quality of “offline” and “online” training formats, the problem of commercialization of education and the transformation of university types as associated with unjustified expectations of the effectiveness of the introduction of distance learning format. The materials presented in the article will be of interest to those specializing in the field of education management: heads of educational organizations, employees of educational management bodies at all levels.
