This article highlights several promising trends in research on adolescence and discusses the likely future course of several recent developments in adolescent research. Current trends include a focus on the transition to young adulthood, the increasing examination of the context and co-occurrence of adolescent problems, and emphasis on the resilience of adolescents in high-risk circumstances. There is a strong need for more research on the cognitive and neurocognitive gains and changes of adolescence and on positive psychosocial behaviours and outcomes for youth. We are just beginning to understand within-group differences in adolescent development, including the life experiences of minority youth, adolescents with disabilities, and homosexual adolescents. The impact of social context and social change on adolescents is also receiving more attention. Methodological approaches likely to be seen more in the future include the use of pattern-centred analyses to complement traditional variable-centred approaches and a greater appreciation for qualitative data analysis as a route to gaining insights into adolescent development. Finally, university-community partnerships are promoted as a way to solve the problems of youth and improve the probability of their healthy futures.

The current stage of the socio-economic development of the Ukrainian economy is characterized by an imperfect economic base, low level of labor productivity, high resource intensity and energy consumption of production. It is the result of insufficient innovation and investment activity – a leading factor in the growth of competitiveness and a serious obstacle in the conditions of increasing openness of the economy, joining the country to the processes of globalization. This also applies to the development of the metallurgical industry, which is one of the basic branches of the national economy, since its production and export potential largely determine the stability of the economy and the filling of the budget of the country. The article analyzes the influence of financial and administrative analysis on the managerial, financial and investment activity of the metallurgical industry, which enables to assess and determine the innovation and investment level of the metallurgical industry and to analyze the structure of world steel production. It should be mentioned that although such parts of economic analysis as financial and administrative are deepening and complement each other, they should be considered separately, because it will allow to improve organizational, informational and methodological assurance, based on methodological approaches and considering practical needs.

Today the task of practical implementation of sustainable development has become even more important than three decades ago, when the corresponding concept was formulated. The coronavirus pandemic, which caused natural avalanche of negative consequences in the economy and society at the global, national, local, and individual levels, is just one of the tragic evidences of this. Initially, the term “sustainability” was put forward in natural sciences, but it is currently used in a wider context, which leads to misunderstanding. In this regard, the important role of the humanities, particularly psychology, is difficult to overestimate. The article is devoted to the review of problems and prospects in the field of psychology of sustainable development as a new and very relevant scientific area. The study presents the results of scientometric analysis of dissertational studies on this topic conducted in the USSR / Russian Federation from 1987 to 2019. It has been established that the vast majority of them was done in economic sciences (85.4%), and only a few in the field of psychology (0.5%). The content of the main, critical and alternative domestic and foreign discourse in the field of sustainable development has been disclosed. Methodological approaches, i.e. phenomenological, metacentric, ecopsychological have been described; they can serve as the basis for the psychology of sustainable development. In general, sustainable development is a dynamic process, the study of which includes many academic subjects and points of view and is constantly transformed as scientific knowledge, including psychological knowledge, develops.

The paper addresses the issue of diversity of definitions of mental phenomena and methodological approaches to their exploration. It is argued that monistic construction of psychological knowledge is essential and requires drawing consistent conclusions about mental functioning in living organisms from the laws of evolution or, as in the case with humans, from the laws of anthropogenesis and historical development of humankind. The paper describes two main patterns of scientific analysis which consider mental phenomena as processes and functions that are: a) localized in and generated by the brain on the basis of ‘information processing mechanisms’; b) localized between the living organisms and objects, ensuring their orientation in the outer world. The paper also discusses the problem of evolutionary development of functions responsible for orientation and interaction with the environment in animals. It highlights the ontogenetic stages of integration of language means into the organization of practices and mental actions in humans and analyses the main patterns in the development of actions, as well as the grounds for selecting operations of which they consist and which correspond with traditionally described mental functions.

The article focuses on the theoretical and methodological aspects of the style's study in Russian psychology. The history, current state and prospects of developing the problem of a human activity style in the Perm psychological school are considered. The study of style in the Perm Psychological School has a half-century history. At the initial stages in the study of style, the features of the process-dynamic side of the activity of a person who successfully performs it were revealed. Later, in connection with the development of V.S. Merlin's theory of integral individuality, style operational characteristics began to be studied in a system of multilevel properties of human individuality - socio-psychological, personal, psychodynamic, neurodynamic. The article analyzes the structure of the style of human activity, as well as its functions - adaptive, system-forming, developing, etc. In the Perm Psychological School, the style of human activity has received a detailed polysystemic characterization in theoretical and empirical studies conducted under the guidance of B.A. Vyatkin. Representations of the style of human activity were significantly enriched thanks to the L.Ya. Dorfman theory of the meta-individual world. The article outlines promising theoretical and methodological approaches that open up new possibilities for the development of psychological knowledge about the styles of human activity, as well as the practical significance of this knowledge.

Introduction. Current trends in the development of sports dance indicate the impact of modern knowledge of sports science on the system of improving the functional support of special performance of dancers. The lack of a systematic approach to the management of training loads significantly affects the formation of specific methodological approaches to improving the special performance of dancers, taking into account the specific characteristics of training inherent in sports that combine sports and art. The aim is to develop a systematic approach aimed at modeling the special functional training of dancers, taking into account the specific requirements of training in sport dances. Material and methods: analysis of special scientific and methodical literature. Theoretical research methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, concretization, systematization. Results. The structure and algorithm of realization of modeling of special functional preparation in sports dance are developed: 1) Structural organization of the analysis directed on formation of the system approach to modeling of sports training. 2) Specific principles of forming a systematic approach to modeling the training of dancers. 3) Structural and logical scheme of modeling the functional readiness of dancers. 4) Characteristics of models of training of athletes-dancers. 5) Aids for modeling the readiness of athletes in sport dances. Conclusions. The system approach is developed on the basis of the model-target approach of realization of modeling as functions of management of special functional preparation of athlete-dancers. The formation of the structural components of the model-target approach requires taking into account the specific components of training and preparedness inherent in sports that combine sport and art. The structural and logical scheme of realization of the model-target approach provides the algorithm which purpose consists in formation of the software of special functional preparation in sports dance.
