Motivation aims to empower and liberalize people as enhance their entrepreneurial abilities to recognize the interactions between humans and their abilities to work. Thus, this paper is aimed to examine the impact of motivations on employee’s performance in Palestinian banking industry. The survey data was collected through distributing a questionnaire on employees that working in Palestinian commercial banks. Relied on Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis, this paper reveals that moral motives are significantly and positively predicted employees performance. Moreover, the scholars find a high level of motivations provided to employees that working in Palestinian commercial banks. However, the material and social incentives are not predicted employees performance. On other side, the paper found that there are differences between the levels of motivation when it comes to the demographic data like qualifications, years of experiences, and job title. Finally, the study recommended that Palestinian banks needs to adapt and develop their motivation system in order to satisfy all employees’ moral needs.

The major financial intermediary in any economy is the bank. As financial intermediaries, banks provide means by which funds can be transferred from the surplus unit of the economy to the deficit unit. This role is performed primarily through the acceptance of deposits of different categories and characteristics for onward lending to the numerous customers by way of loans and credits. The study tries to access the impact of credit policy on the performance of Nigerian Commercial Banks using Zenith Bank Plc as case study. Primary data were collected through questionnaires served on sixty (60) respondents (staff: 32 and customer: 28) of the bank. The questionnaires were analysed with the use of chi-square (X2). The findings from the study show that having a good credit policy in place goes a long way in minimizing the incidence of bad debts. It was also discovered that prudent credit assessment and disbursement, dynamic credit monitoring and decisive actions when there are warning signals, have all helped the bank to maintain a high quality of assets and a high level of profitability.

Working capital management plays centric role in enhancing operational efficiency and their ultimate profitability. Globally financial managers have been searching the proper way on how to utilize working capital components which prolong profitability. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of working capital components on profitability indicators of selected pharmaceutical firms in Bangladesh. The paper used financial data of 9 pharmaceutical firms listed in Dhaka stock exchange (DSE) covered 2011-2015. Two methods were used in this study for analysis data set. Firstly, to measure the relationship between selected variables Pearson Correlation matrix was used. Secondly, multiple regression analysis was used to investigate the impact working capital components on profitability of selected pharmaceutical firms. The study also conducted Durbin Watson test to assess autocorrelation of selected variables. In this study the correlation matrix identified a negative correlation between working capital components and profitability, whereas regression analysis found number of days account receivable (AR) had significant positive and current ratio (CR) and debt ratio (DR) had appeared a significant negative impact on profitability.

Purpose: This study evaluates the role of transformational leadership in effective strategic implementation. The purposes of this study are; first, to examine the degree of transformational leadership of administrative officials; second, to assess the degree of effective strategic implementation; third, to investigate the impact of transformational leadership on effective strategic implementation. Finally, this study examines the roles of organizational culture as a moderator of the association between transformational leadership and effective strategic implementation. Methodology: This study uses the case study of municipalities in Trang Province in Thailand. This research employs quantitative methods. The questionnaires are collected from administrative officials of municipalities in Trang Province. Descriptive statistics are used to analyse the data. This study uses Pearson correlation analysis to achieve the associations between two variables. In addition, regression analysis is applied as a suitable statistical tool to test the hypotheses. Implication: This study combined the framework of strategic management, leadership, and organizational culture for testing the conceptual model. The study is particularly useful for improving the roles of administrative officials in order to achieve effective strategic in municipalities.

<p>The relationship between women, technology manifestation, and likely prospects in the developing world is discussed in this manuscript. Using India as a case study, the paper goes on to discuss how ontology and epistemology views utilised in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and robotics will affect women's prospects in developing countries. Women in developing countries, notably in South Asia, are perceived as doing domestic work and are underrepresented in high-level professions. They are disproportionately underemployed and face prejudice in the workplace. The purpose of this study is to determine if the introduction of AI would exacerbate the already precarious situation of women in the developing world or if it would serve as a liberating force. While studies on the impact of AI on women have been undertaken in developed countries, there has been less research in developing countries. This manuscript attempts to fill that need.</p>

The research aims to investigate the most common types of organizational conflicts among employees in private hospitals and discover the impact of organizational conflicts on employee turnover. The research outlined the relationship between the variables to present the idea of organizational conflicts and employee turnover. The hypotheses were tested using a survey data of 340 questionnaires distributed randomly to employees working in four private hospitals in Jordan. Random selection of private hospitals was made among eight hospitals in the northern governorates of Jordan (Irbid, Jerash, Mafraq, and Ajlun), which are considered the largest districts in the country. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program, and initial statistical techniques were applied. The results showed that the highest level of impact of organizational conflicts on the internal turnover of employees was related to the conflict between employees and direct supervisors. However, the highest level of the impact of organizational conflicts on the external turnover of employees was related to the conflict between employees and top management. The low-level job conflicts of employees were those with owners and middle management. Thus, to create stability, prevent work pressure, and retain employees, managers of private hospitals necessarily need to provide an appropriate work environment, develop high level of well-being, and decrease the workload. Purpose and problem of the study: This study to identify the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice among the mualaf (convert) in Selangor. The aim is also to analyse the relationship between the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice of mualaf in Selangor. The problem of the study is issues which related to the granting of zakat rights to Muslims and its impact on strengthening the faith of these groups and their appreciation of Islamic teachings. Methodology: This study applies quantitative methodology which involves 454 Muslim converts as respondents and they were randomly selected to get the data of this study. Main Findings: The descriptive analysis findings demonstrate that the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice of mualaf in Selangor is at high level, where each has a mean value (4.20 and 4.63). The result of the Pearson correlation analysis proves that there is a significant relationship between the impact of the distribution (r = 0.643, p < 0.01) and religious practice (r = 0.677, p < 0.01).       Applications of this study: This study involves respondents from the mualaf group in Selangor. Selangor has chosen to be the area of study as the total number of muallaf registered in this state is greater than those in other states in Malaysia. Novelty/Originality of this study: The implementation of zakat distribution based on the principals and concepts dictated by Islamic law will give a great impact to the group of mualaf (convert).

Purpose – This article aims to investigate perceptions of Turkish nurses on the impact of accreditation on quality of care and the effect of accreditation on quality results. Design/methodology/approach – This study was performed as a cross-sectional, questionnaire-based survey on 258 nurses who started working in the hospital before it was accredited and continued to work during and after accrediation and who therefore knew both the hospital's pre-accrediation and post-accreditation periods. In this study, descriptive statistical analyses (means and standard deviations) were carried out to explore the views of the participants on “quality results,” “benefits of accreditation” and “participation of employees.” “Quality results” was considered to be the dependent variable, while “benefits of accreditation” and “participation of employees” were accepted as the independent variables. The relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variables was tested using Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. External patient satisfaction data collected by the quality department of the hospital before and after accreditation were also investigated. Findings – It was found that nurses had generally high scores for the items concerning the benefits of accreditation. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between the dependent variable (quality results) and the independent variables (benefits of accreditation and participation of employees). Regression analysis indicated that R2=0.461 and the extent to which the independent variables explained the dependent variable was 46.1 per cent, which is a high rate. Patient satisfaction scores increased after accreditation. Practical implications – Our study suggest that providing support for nurses, especially nurses with administrative responsibilities and incorporating employees into the process are important for exercising quality standards. Originality/value – Hospital accreditation has a positive impact on quality results especially on quality of care provided to patients and patient satisfaction. Study findings could guide policy makers and hospital managers in Turkey and in other countries who are preparing or implementing accreditation.
