The study aimed to identify the level of perceived self-efficacy and achievement motivation and the relationship between them. The sample of the study included 164 students. The researcher used the measure of perceived self-efficacy and the measure of achievement motivation. The measure of perceived self-efficacy consisted of 72 paragraphs distributed on nine dimensions. While the measure of achievement motivation consisted of 20 paragraphs. It has been conducted the necessary honesty and reliability coefficients for them.The results indicated to the high levels of perceived self-efficacy and achievement motivation, to a correlation which is very weak and a positive direction (proportional) with statistical significance between perceived self-efficacy dimension (behavioral) and achievement motivation, to six correlation relationships which are weak and a positive direction (proportional) with statistical significance between perceived self-efficacy dimensions (emotional, social, self-confidence, others-confidence, cognitive, moral) and achievement motivation, to the presence of correlation relationship which is medium and positive direction (proportional) with statistical significance at the significance level (α = 0.05) between perceived self-efficacy and its two dimensions (persistence and perseverance, academic) and achievement motivate.

The objectives of this study were to determine the relationship between self-beliefs and achievement motivation among engineering students. 305 boys and 254 girls from different engineering colleges of Punjab responded to all psychological measures used in the study. Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (Muris, 2001) and Perceived Competence Scale (Pintrich and DeGroot, 1990) were used to assess the self-beliefs of the students, whereas, Deo and Mohan's Achievement Scale (1985) was used to measure achievement motivation among the students. Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation were computed to find out which variables correlate significantly with achievement motivation among these students. The results revealed that in case of male engineering students, two dimensions of Self-efficacy i.e. Academic Self-Efficacy and Social Self- Efficacy were found to be positively correlated with their achievement motivation, whereas,in case of female engineering students,all three dimensions of Self-efficacy i.e. Social-Efficacy, Academic-Efficacy and Emotional-Efficacy were found to be positively related to their achievement motivation. The results also revealed that the perceived competence was a significant correlate of achievement motivation among both male and female engineering students. Overall, the results indicate that self-beliefs play a significant role in influencing the achievement motivation among engineering students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat self confidence mahasiswa, hubungan pemahaman konsep geometri dan self confidence mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran Mikro. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran Mikro terdapat 8 keterampilan dasar mengajar, salah satunya adalah keterampilan menjelaskan dimana mahasiswa harus dapat mengorganisasikan konsep geometri transformasi dalam tata urutan yang terencana secara sistematis, sehingga mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Perlu adanya self confidence dalam menyampaikan materi khususnya pemahaman konsep geometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh hubungan yang linier antara pemahaman konsep geometri transformasi dan self confidence mahasiswa calon guru matematika pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran Mikro. Tingkat keeratan hubungan kedua variabel berdasarkan koefisien korelasi berada pada kategori kuat yaitu 0,700. Hubungan kedua variabel tersebut menunjukkan arah positif artinya, peningkatan pemahaman konsep geometri transformasi berbanding lurus dengan self confidence mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep geometri, self confidence, pembelajaran mikro.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of self-confidence of students and relationship between understanding the concept of geometry and self-confidence of students in the Micro Learning subject. This research is quantitative research. In the Micro Learning subject there are 8 basic teaching skills, one of them is the skill to explain where students must be able to organize the geometry concept of transformation in a systematic order planned so that it is easily understood by students. Self confidence is needed in delivering the material, especially understanding the concept of geometry. At a significance level of 5% a linear relationship was found between the understanding of the geometry concept of transformation and the self confidence of mathematics teacher candidates in the Micro Learning subject. The relationship between the two variables based on the correlation coefficient is in the strong category, 0.700. The relationship between these two variables shows a positive relation, it means that as the understanding of geometric concept gets better, the self confidence of mathematics teacher candidates get higher. When their teachers are well equipped to foster inclusive and equitable classrooms, students from marginalized communities show higher rates of academic achievement, motivation, self-confidence, and self-efficacy. However, many teachers complete preparation programs feeling underprepared to work in culturally diverse classrooms, making high-quality professional development (PD) in this area crucial. We undertook a meta-ethnographic, systematic literature review of 40 studies of multicultural education–focused PD programs in order to better understand the forms and features of such programs that contribute to teachers’ self-efficacy and success in working with culturally diverse students. We found a small literature base with too much variation across types of programs studied and outcomes analyzed to draw conclusions about the factors that contribute to effectiveness. However, the extant literature does point to important questions and considerations for both providers and researchers of multicultural education PD. One area for future research is how PD providers navigate tensions or challenges arising from resistance to discussions of diversity and equity. Another is locating the balance between providing specific knowledge about students’ cultures and guarding against promoting stereotypes or broad generalizations. Researchers and PD developers should also pay close attention to their underlying theories related to both teacher learning and multicultural education.

This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and self-efficacy with burnout. The study was conducted at the mobile brigade police of the Republic of Indonesia North Sumatra. The number of respondents in this study were 196 members of the mobile brigade with non probability sampling techniques. Based on Spearman rank data analysis obtained a significant level between workload with burnout with a significant value of 0,000 <0,05, meaning that there is a partial relationship between workload and burnout. While the relationship of self-efficacy with burnout with a significant value of 0,000 <0.05. This proves that there is a partial relationship between self efficacy and burnout. While the significance level of the workload and self efficacy with burnout with a significant value of 0,000 <0,05 are related simultaneously, then the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The correlation between workload and self efficacy with burnout on members of the mobile brigade, North Sumatra is 90%. The conclusions of this research are workload and self efficacy have relationship significant with burnout. Keywords: Burnout, workload, self-efficacy.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dan efikasi diri dengan burnout. Penelitian dilaksanakan di satuan brigade mobile kepolisian daerah Sumatera Utara. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 196 anggota satuan brigade mobile dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data rank spearman diperoleh taraf signifikan antara beban kerja dengan burnout dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, artinya membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan secara parsial beban kerja dengan burnout. Sedangkan hubungan efikasi diri dengan burnout dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan secara parsial konsep diri dengan burnout. Sedangkan taraf signifikasi beban kerja dan efikasi diri  dengan burnout dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 berhubungan secara simultan, maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Besar korelasi hubungan beban kerja dan efikasi diri dengan burnout pada anggota satuan brigade mobile kepolisian daerah Sumatera Utara sebesar 0.90%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah beban kerja dan efikasi diri berhubungan signifikan dengan burnout.   Kata Kunci: Burnout, beban kerja, efikasi diri.

This article reveals the features of the development of self-esteem and achievement motivation in older adolescents. Adolescence is considered a crisis period in human ontogenesis. In modern studies, there is a steady increase in the formation of unfavorable personality traits in adolescents. At this age, problems with self-esteem of the individual are more common, since the teenager's interest in himself, his self-perception and the need to understand himself are activated by the processes of puberty and psycho-physiological changes. The danger of this tendency for the future generation lies in the fact that inadequate self-esteem can cause the development of insecurity, complexes, anxiety, aggression, and can also act as a factor in suicidal behavior of adolescents. It should be noted that for many years Kazakhstan has been among the ten countries in the world in terms of the number of suicides among adolescents and youth. In modern socio-economic conditions, it is especially important to achieve a high level of development of a teenager's personality, and the formation of such qualities as self-confidence, motivation to achieve success. Therefore, the study of the relationship between self-esteem and the motivation for achieving success of the younger generation, along with modern social and revolutionary changes, is one of the urgent problems. The article presents an analysis of the results of an empirical study, the purpose of which was to identify the relationship between self-esteem and motivation for achieving success in adolescents. To achieve the goal of the study, the following psychodiagnostic methods were used: the method of G.N.Kazantseva "Study of general self-esteem"; the method of A. A. Rean "Motivation for success and fear of failure". The results suggest that there is a close positive relationship between self-esteem and achievement motivation in adolescents

Studies dealing with the issue of polycentric urban development, both functional and morphological, often promote different approaches to the measurement of polycentricity. Relying on data on commuting patterns and the intra-regional distribution of population in Poland in 2011, we apply two measures of polycentricity to shed more light on the functional and morphological development of urban regions in Poland. We also explore the relationship between the two dimensions of polycentricity, using a functional/morphological primacy index and a general functional polycentricity index. The results reveal regions for which the different measures suggest divergent conclusions, while also implying that the measure used can determine the strength and statistical significance of the relationship between the two dimensions to polycentricity. As, in our view, it is the measure advocated by Burger et al. (2011) that best seems to differentiate between the different forms of urban structure, we use this to summarise patterns of polycentric urban development in Poland. The results illustrate: the statistical significance of the relationship between the two (morphological and functional) dimensions to polycentricity in Poland’s urban regions, and the way in which the level of functional polycentricity is higher than the degree of functional polycentricity.
