Es tiempo para reflexionar sobre las consecuencias que, para el pensamiento historiográfico, significan los nuevos modos de representación simbólica del tiempo relacionados con los cambios materiales e intelectuales de fin de siglo. Los viejos paradigmas positivistas y estructuralistas, de naturaleza moderna (racionalidad, explicación, objetividad, linealidad, teleología, necesidad, normativismo, universalidad), van dando paso a nuevos modelos de construcción del relato histórico según patrones fenomenológico-hermenéuticos (interpretación, ruptura, azar, relativismo, localismo). La crisis de la idea ilustrada de progreso está impulsando una nueva concepción "anti-histórica», en la medida en que la historia se convierte en espacio temporal pluridimensional, ambiguo, efímero, atemporal. El nuevo tiempo de la historia deja de ser proyectivo. ¿No estaremos ante la elaboración simbólica de una experiencia vital verdaderamente ahistóríca? ¿Qué puede representar ello en lo que respecta al cambio social? ¿Paralización? ¿Congelación y perpetuación del nuevo orden? ¿Es posible ya la anticipación del futuro desde un presente desligado de toda secuencia racionalmente inteligible para el sujeto?.It's time to think about the consequences which, to the historiographic though, mean the new ways of symbolic representation of time related to the material and intelectual changes at the end of this century. The old positivist and structuralist paradigms, of modern nature (rationality, explanation, objectivity, lineality, teleology, necessity, universality), are giving way to the new models of construction of the historical discourse following phenomenological-hermeneutical patterns (interpretation, rupture, chance, relativism, localism). The crisis of the enlightened idea of progress is urging a new non-historie conception, as for as history turns inte temporal space which is also multi-dimensional, ambiguous, ephemeral, nontemporal. The new time of history is no longer projecting to the future. Isn´t it possible we are facing a symbolic elaboratlon of a vital experience which is truely nonhistorie? What can it represent in the social change? Can it be paralysation? Can it be freezing and perpetuation of a new order? Is it already possible the anticipation of the future from a present which is detached from any sequence rationaly understandable to the subject?

The subject of this essay is Andrzej Waśkiewicz’s book Ludzie – rzeczy – ludzie. O porządkach społecznych, gdzie rzeczy łączą, nie dzielą (People–Things–People: On Social Orders Where Things Connect Rather Than Divide People). The book is the work of a historian of ideas and concerns contemporary searches for alternatives to capitalism: the review presents the book’s overview of visions of society in which the market, property, inequality, or profit do not play significant roles. Such visions reach back to Western utopian social and political thought, from Plato to the nineteenth century. In comparing these ideas with contemporary visions of the world of post-capitalism, the author of the book proposes a general typology of such images. Ultimately, in reference to Simmel, he takes a critical stance toward the proposals, recognizing the exchange of goods to be a fundamental and indispensable element of social life. The author of the review raises two issues that came to mind while reading the book. First, the juxtaposition of texts of a very different nature within the uniform category of “utopia” causes us to question the role and status of reflections regarding the future and of speculative theory in contemporary social thought; second, such a juxtaposition suggests that reflecting on the social “optimal good” requires a much more precise and complex conception of a “thing,” for instance, as is proposed by new materialism or anthropological studies of objects and value as such.

The development of Shīʿi jurisprudence has mostly been studied from the perspective of its relation to political authority. A handful of works that have examined the subject from a purely legal perspective, neglected the influence of Muslim societies on the evolution of Shīʿi legal theory. The paper examines the development of Shīʿi jurisprudence from a legal perspective and argues that there is an intrinsic connection between Islamic law (both Sunni and Shiʿi laws) and Muslim societies. Therefore, the changing values and expectations of society prompt changes in Islamic rulings. In this sense, the evolution of Shīʿi legal theory is no different to Sunni legal theory, and there are striking similarities between Khomeini's theory of Wilāyat al-Faqīh and the Sunni legal notion of maṣlaḥa which both aim to respond to the exigencies of the social change.

Uga merupakan salah satu tradisi lisan masyarakat Sunda, di dalamnya terkumpul segenap memori kolektif. Analisis terhadap uga meliputi nilai-nilai dalam bentuk simbol yang tersirat di dalamnya. Uga mampu meramalkan perubahan sosial sesuai dengan zamannya. Apabila dilihat dari orientasi waktu, uga dapat  menunjukkan: (1) tercipta dan dituturkan pada masa lampau; (2) dituturkan pada masa lampau dan terjadi pada waktu lalu; (3) dituturkan pada masa lampau dan sekarang (sedang terjadi); (4) dituturkan pada masa lampau, ramalan untuk masa yang akan datang. Fungsi uga di samping memprediksi ia juga harus dijadikan sebagai alat antisipasi tentang sesuatu yang bakal terjadi di waktu yang akan datang.Abstract:Uga is one of Sundanese oral tradition containing most collective memory. Analysis of the Uga includes the values in the form of symbols that implied in it. It  is able to predict social change in accordance with its time when viewed from the orientation of time. It  can  show that (1) it could be created and spoken in the past; (2) it was spoken and taken place in the past;(3) it was spoken in the past and is still being used now; (4)  it was spoken in the past and predictions for the future. Besides its functions to predict the social change, it  can serve as a tool in anticipation of something that might happen in the future.

During the past forty years the dominant preoccupation of scholars writing on Livy has been the relationship between the historian and the emperor Augustus, and its effects on the Ab Urbe Condita. Tacitus’ testimony that the two were on friendly terms, and Suetonius’ revelation that Livy found time to encourage the historical studies of the future emperor Claudius, appeared to have ominous overtones to scholars writing against the political backcloth of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. Though the subject had not been wholly ignored previously, the success of the German cultural propaganda-machine stimulated a spate of approving or critical treatments. While some were hailing Livy as the historian whose work signalled and glorified the new order, others following a similar interpretation were markedly scathing.

the use of plastics can provide convenience and practicality, plastic also has a particularly bad impact on the environment. Plastics contain artificial inorganic materials which are composed of chemicals that are dangerous enough for the environment. This waste of plastic is very difficult to decompose naturally. To decompose plastic waste itself, it takes approximately 80 years to completely degrade. Currently the government is increasingly active in providing awareness to the public to reduce the use of plastics in life, then providing teaching on how to treat plastic waste into goods that are beneficial to life. Participatory action research has three word elements, all of which have a connection between Participation, Action and Research. In the process of carrying out social change for the better, it must involve all levels of society who are the object or target as well as the subject where the social change must be carried out. utilization of organic waste which can be used as various kinds of valuable creativity and has a selling price that can improve the community's economy, and also make the environment clean and healthy. Making society in a harmonious and peaceful environment. There won't be any problems. The village will be safe and secure.

The article analyzes the sociocultural basis of constituting the symbolic space, the content of the symbolic violence phenomenon, the cultural and symbolic potential of the toponymics objects. It is established that practices of symbolic violence consist in constructing a system of subjective coordinates by imposing rules, senses, meanings, values that become self-evident. Symbolic space encompasses the collective consciousness of the socio-cultural community and has the ability to form a system of subjective coordinates where the individual's life activity unfolds. The intelligibility of symbolic space is conventionally established, which is provided by the process of socialization. Pursuing the goal of domination, hegemony, coercion, symbolic violence moves the real confrontation into a symbolic environment, directing the influence on the mental structures of the social subject. Giving to senses and meanings a legitimate character is a way to explain and substantiate social relations, their cognitive and normative interpretation. Accumulating the experience of community coexistence throughout its history, habitus is a set of dispositions that motivate an individual to a certain reaction or behavior. Habitus, which generates and structures practices, combines the individual tendency of the actor to act adequately to the situation, the interaction of actors in the community, and the interaction of the community and each of its members with reality. As a historically changing phenomenon, habitus determines the nature of interactions between individuals whose communication skills are consistent with the functioning of social institutions. An important component of the symbolic space and part of the cultural and historical discourse are the objects of toponymics, which explains the constant ideological and political interest in this segment of socio-cultural life. Objects of toponymics act as a marker of ordering social space, a tool for including the subject in socio-spatial landscapes. The renaming of toponyms demonstrates the connection between the social conditions in which it takes place and the reaction of the social relations entity to changes in the toponymic space.

<p>What is the future of right-wing politics in India? Is India as a nation laden in the cultural foundation of conservatism and purity or it is a diversity moulded through the power of right-wing into a singular cultural system? The recent crises of right-wing politics in India founded in the new politics of social change where the historical oppression of diverse groups based on social class, religion, gender and caste has been politicized with new meaning under the garb of ‘doing’ development, cultural revivalism and the discourses of neoliberalism. Present research attempt to understand how the social identity of an authentic leader is shaped by the global neoliberal values and in what way the preference of authentic leaders by the group is moderated by the social class mobility and change. Also, some of the systematic attacks on the freedom of universities gave rise to students’ politics and movements with new vocabularies of resistance and leadership. It is need of the time to understand the leaders conscious ‘doing’ and conscious ‘not doing’, constructing the meaning of a nation in a different way or limiting it. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

On the basis of the preceding argument, the author posits that the emergence of a new emergent virtual understanding of the individual, has brought us to the absolute limit of the normalizing complex. This vision of the subject as a virtual entity indicates a growing awareness of the presence of an existential uniqueness, or Otherness (born out of normalization’s inherent allusion to the Other as what lies beyond the norms), in everyone’s life that challenges the attempts at conceiving the social body in terms of normality. This has implications that are as yet undefined for our current legal system that has developed thus far in relation to the dynamics of normalization. Faced with the expansion of Otherness in our society, the author intimates that we may be forced to rethink the structure of our legal discourse, and imagine new foundations for the future of democracy and politics.

We have been facing with several challenges in all over the World. Global and local economies are facing threats as well as the increasing numbers of migrants that have not been seen for several decades. Resources are becoming scarcer and more expensive as we consume more. Technology and especially the internet and social networking are changing the way we work, interact and communicate. The question of "Why is the study of social sciences so critical to our future?" has been asked number of times in the past! To speak of the future of the social sciences is not an easy task especially nowadays where the dynamics of the World has been dramatically changing which brings lots of crisis with pain at every level from local to global.  The name of this change has been called as the "New Order of the World" as some of the players lose their power and importance while new players comes in to show themselves and claim that they are also important and cannot be ignored!
