The goal of this article lies in establishing possible dependence of the age status and the rate of aging of the individual with their intimate and sexual relations. The subject of this research is the peculiarities of correlation between satisfaction with intimate-sexual relations and the parameters of age and biopsychological aging. It is empirically determined that the overall satisfaction and dissatisfaction with intimate-sexual relations reduce with age, while the component of “mutual satisfaction” enhances. The increase of age status is associated with inclination of evaluations in the intimate-sexual relations towards negative characteristics. The high rates of aging, on the contrary, create grounds for satisfactory assessment of intimate-sexual relations. The acquired conclusions testify that the opinions of people with different age status and rates of biopsychological aging in assessing satisfaction in the intimate-sexual sphere are quite unified, particularly in terms of the characteristics of “desirability”. Psychological youthfulness of people in the intimate-sexual sphere is related to the parameter of “activity” and priority of “stability with the regular partner” over the desire to experiment through inclusion aggression and easy to approach partners in the repertoire of sexuality. For persons with high rate of biological aging are observed the priority of “mutuality”, sense of intimate-sexual satisfaction, and a no desire to experiment. The novelty of this research is lies in differentiation of the contribution of age status and rate of aging into personal subjective assessment of the intimate-sexual sphere. The author outlines the most significant interrelations between the type of age and the rate of aging and the characteristics of intimate-sexual satisfaction, which gives a more accurate perspective on the contribution of meaningful sexual relationships to the processes of longevity, and choice of adequate strategies for educational and counseling purposes, as well as therapy.

Sexual life and intimacy mainly is based by one’s personality, knowledge and attitudes toward others. Someone’s personality can tell us how they approach all sorts of different things in life, including sexual life. To audit sexual life it is necessary to assess it through asking people who have a regular partner or whoever they are having sex, or their last relationship. The study included 500 subjects from Albania and Kosovo. The questionnaire was delivered through Survey planet app. The audit was opened during June 2019. Questionnaire contains 15 questions with A, B, C alternatives. The data were analyzed through SPSS software. Using the program, a series of Student’s t-tests was conducted for independent samples and correlation analysis with Pearson’s coefficient. The answers were categorized in three categories: mostly A, mostly B and mostly C. Female respondents were 54.6 % whereas 45.4% male. The majority, 78% ranked in age group 21-50 years old, from whom 71.4 % were married. Mostly A score frequently found at 53.60 % of participants which sounds like they and their partners have a really healthy and satisfying sex life.  “Mostly B” answered by 32% of participants which means that they were mostly satisfied with their sex life, and it seems like sometimes they can feel a little disconnected. Mostly C score is most commonly found at 14.40% of participants. This study shows that more than a half of the participants have a satisfying and a healthy sexual life.

PurposeHigh-risk sexual behaviour is a factor affecting the health of sexual minority students, yet few related studies have been completed among Chinese students. This article explores the distribution of sexual minority groups and its association with high-risk sexual behaviours and symptoms of sexually transmitted infections(STIs) among Chinese college students.MethodsAn internet-based questionnaire was applied, and a sample of 17 966 surveys from 130 Chinese colleges was collected. Based on their self-reports, participants were classified into the following groups: homosexual male or female, heterosexual, bisexual, and sexual orientation unknown. High-risk sexual behaviours were defined as having sexual intercourse before the age of 18 years, having one's sexual debut with a non-regular partner, having had more than four sexual partners before investigation, and having mostly had sexual intercourse without using condoms. Logistic regression models were constructed to analyse the associations.ResultsThe proportions of the homosexual males and females, and the bisexual groups were 1.62%, 0.88% and 5.07%, respectively. Homosexual males were more likely to have their sexual debut with a non-regular partner (OR 4.79, 95% CI 3.38 to 6.78), having more than four sexual partners (OR 5.81, 95% CI 4.06 to 8.32), having their sexual debut before the age of 18 years (OR 1.92, 95% CI 1.34 to 2.76), and not using condoms for most episodes of sexual intercourse (OR 1.47, 95% CI 1.00 to 2.17). Similar associations also existed among homosexual females. A positive association between sexual orientation and having symptoms of STIs (OR 1.49, 95% CI 1.02 to 2.18) was found among homosexual males.ConclusionsSexual minority groups among Chinese college students had a greater risk of engaging in high-risk sexual behaviours and having STI symptoms. Future studies and interventions should focus on this population.

This article presents the results of a survey carried out among 1,427 Novosibirsk university students (medical, engineering and humanities specializations) with the purpose of assessing their awareness concerning the prevention of HIV and STIs, as well as risky sexual behaviour. The level of knowledge about HIV is shown to be rather high among Novosibirsk university students. However, an insufficient level of awareness concerning rare HIV transmission routes is identified. In addition, the respondents are found to adhere to out-of-date views concerning HIV patients. Female respondents in this age group tend to trust their regular partner, thus neglecting preventive measures. More than half of the respondents have a positive attitude towards using a condom during sexual intercourse.

ObjectivesWe examined the prevalence of inconsistent condom use and its correlates among people living with HIV (PLHIV) in the Asia-Pacific region.MethodsBetween 1 October 2012 and 31 May 2013, a total of 7843 PLHIV aged 18–50 years were recruited using targeted and venue-based sampling in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR), Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Vietnam. Logistic regression was used to explore the association between condom use behaviour and demographics, social support, stigma and discrimination and various health-related variables.ResultsOverall, 43% of 3827 PLHIV practised inconsistent condom use at sexual intercourse with their regular partner. An even higher proportion, 46% of 2044 PLHIV admitted that they practised unprotected sex with a casual partner. Participants from Lao PDR reported the lowest prevalence of inconsistent condom use for both regular and casual partners, while participants from the Philippines had the highest risk behaviour. Inconsistent condom use was significantly associated with belonging to a key population (drug user, sex worker or refugee subpopulation), not knowing that condoms are still needed if both partners are HIV positive, having a regular partner whose HIV status was either positive or unknown, having experienced physical assault and not receiving antiretroviral treatment.ConclusionsThis large seven-country study highlights a high prevalence of inconsistent condom use among PLHIV in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to knowledge-imparting interventions, the adoption and expansion of the ‘Test and Treat’ strategy could help to maximise the prevention benefits of antiretroviral treatment.

Integrated Biological and Behavioral Surveillance (IBBS) states that in 2011, the HIV prevalence among waria in Indonesia has reached 22%, increasing from 2009 (18.96%). Such occurrence is because transvestite usually has multiple partners in intercourse both oral and anal sex, and rarely use condoms. Similarly, the male regular partners of transvestite also have sex with multiple sexual partners. Therefore, they also have a high risk of spread of HIV/AIDS. The objective of this study is to analyze sexual behavior of male regular partner of transvestite in Efforts to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. The study was carried out in 2014 using qualitative approach. Data was collected by in-depth interview on 6 male regular partner of transvestite through purposive sampling and triangulation informants of peer educators.
