This paper takes the advantageous ability of Kalman filter equation as a means to jointly realize the accurate and reliable extraction of 3D spatial information and carries out the research work from the extraction of 3D spatial position information from multisource remote sensing optical stereo image pairs, recovery of 3D spatial structure information, and joint extraction of 3D spatial information with optimal topological structure constraints, respectively. Taking advantage of the stronger effect capability of Wiener recovery and shorter computation time of Kalman filter recovery, Wiener recovery is combined with Kalman filter recovery (referred to as Wiener-Kalman filter recovery method), and the mean square error and peak signal-to-noise ratio of the recovered image of this method are comparable to those of Wiener recovery, but the subjective evaluation concludes that the recovered image obtained by the Wiener-Kalman filter recovery method is clearer. To address the problem that the Kalman filter recovery method has the advantage of short computation time but the recovery effect is not as good as the Wiener recovery method, an improved Kalman filter recovery algorithm is proposed, which overcomes the fact that the Kalman filter recovery only targets the rows and columns of the image matrix for noise reduction and cannot utilize the pixel point information among the neighboring rows and columns. The algorithm takes the first row of the matrix image as the initial parameter of the Kalman filter prediction equation and then takes the first row of the recovered image as the initial parameter of the second Kalman filter prediction equation. The algorithm does not need to estimate the degradation function of the degradation system based on the degraded image, and the recovered image presents the image edge detail information more clearly, while the recovery effect is comparable to that of the Wiener recovery and Wiener-Kalman filter recovery method, and the improved Kalman filter recovery method has stronger noise reduction ability compared with the Kalman filter recovery method. The problem that the remote sensing optical images are seriously affected by shadows and complex environment detail information when 3D spatial structure information is extracted and the data extraction feature edge is not precise enough and the structure information extraction is not stable enough is addressed. A global optimal planar segmentation method with graded energy minimization is proposed, which can realize the accurate and stable extraction of the topological structure of the top surface by combining the edge information of remote sensing optical images and ensure the accuracy and stability of the final extracted 3D spatial information.

In this manuscript, an advanced battery equalizer with open-loop control is proposed. This equalizer is based on a two-layer hierarchical modular architecture. The top stringto- module (S2M) layer consists of a half-bridge inverter and a voltage multiplier (VM) rectifier, and the bottom cell-to-cell (C2C) layer is implemented by bidirectional buck-boost units. Without state-of-charge (SOC) estimation, the battery charge can be automatically transferred from high-voltage cell-modules/cells to low-voltage ones. Only a pair of symmetrical pulse width modulation (PWM) driving signals with fixed switching frequency and duty cycle are required. This reduces the control complexity remarkably. Meanwhile, the balancing current of each balancing path naturally attenuates with the convergence of cell-module/ cell voltages. This ensures a fast balancing of cell-module/cell with large voltage mismatch. The battery-recovery-effect induced balancing error is also effectively mitigated. Moreover, simple control facilitates a simultaneous module and cell voltage balancing in static, charging, and discharging conditions. The operation principles are analyzed in detail. An experimental platform with eight series-connected batteries is built and tested. The measured results well validate the theoretical analysis. Both cell and module voltages automatically converge with clearly mitigated recovery effect.

Bioenergy recovery from lignocellulosic (LC) biomass is the beneficial and sustainable approach due to its abundant availability. On the Otherhand, its recalcitrant nature makes the biomass to resist biological hydrolysis and it limits the conversion potential of organics to biomethane. Thus, it is essential to evaluate the association among the recalcitrant nature of LC biomass and its biomethane conversion efficiency. Consequently, this review critically recaps the recalcitrance of LC biomass and its effects on bioenergy recovery, its composition and characteristics. In addition, various enhancement approaches (pretreatments) were conferred as main aspect which plays main role in biomass disintegration and biomethane increment. Based on up -to -date information, elevated energy input and cost necessities of the pretreatments are the main factors that mediates the economic feasibility of the process. The present review apart from spotlighting the pretreatment efficiency, it also focusses on the challenges and limitations of enhancement strategies, energy and technoeconomic feasibility of the various pretreatments of LC biomass.

The extract from Cnidium officinale rhizomes was shown in a prior experiment to markedly recover otic hair cells in zebrafish damaged by neomycin. The current study was brought about to identify the principal metabolite. Column chromatography using octadecyl SiO2 and SiO2 was performed to isolate the major metabolites from the active fraction. The chemical structures were resolved on the basis of spectroscopic data, including NMR, IR, MS, and circular dichroism (CD) data. The isolated phthalide glycosides were assessed for their recovery effect on damaged otic hair cells in neomycin-treated zebrafish. Three new phthalide glycosides were isolated, and their chemical structures, including stereochemical characteristics, were determined. Two glycosides (0.1 μM) showed a recovery effect (p < 0.01) on otic hair cells in zebrafish affected by neomycin ototoxicity. Repeated column chromatography led to the isolation of three new phthalide glycosides, named ligusticosides C (1), D (2), and E (3). Ligusticoside C and ligusticoside E recovered damaged otic hair cells in zebrafish.

At present, online travel agency (OTA) service failure events emerge continually, which makes the OTA service operation mode face new challenges. This study uses the situational experiment method to explore the effects of OTA employees’ emotional intelligence and emotional labor (surface behavior and deep behavior) on the effect of service recovery. The results show that the emotional intelligence of OTA employees has a positive impact on the surface behavior and deep behavior; the emotional intelligence and deep behavior of employees have a significant positive impact on service recovery satisfaction, but the positive impact of employees’ surface behavior on service recovery satisfaction is not statistically significant; finally, service recovery satisfaction has a positive impact on customer loyalty. This study helps to better explain the mechanism of OTA service recovery effect and provides a theoretical reference for improving the service recovery effect of OTA.

Abstract The widespread use of adhesives in timber construction has negative implications for the end-of-life disposal or re-use of the structural timber components. To promote the circular bioeconomy, it is preferable to substitute adhesives with more sustainable alternatives such as wood-based connectors. Today, robotic fabrication technologies facilitate the development of dowel-laminated timber (DLT) products whereby hardwood dowels are used to connect timber laminates as a substitute to adhesives. In recent years, thermo-mechanical densification of wood has resulted in significant improvements in the mechanical performance of the wood. This modified product often termed compressed wood (CW) has a shape-recovery effect which may be beneficial for the development of DLT products and timber-timber connections with improved friction fit with time. To test the hypothesis, accelerated ageing tests were carried out on CW-timber and hardwood-timber dowel type connections subjected to variable climate conditions. Finally, the capacity of the connections or friction fit was assessed using pull-out tests. Results show that the shape-recovery effect leads to the continuous expansion of the CW dowels and facilitates a friction fit with the timber substrate yielding higher pull-out loads when compared to hardwood dowels.

A simple method to prepare a high-content rutin fraction from Forsythia koreana flowers (HRFK) is described. Rutin, isolated for the first time from the flowers, was identified from spectroscopic data including nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry, and infrared. As a result of HPLC quantitative analysis, the content of rutin was found to be 80.0 ± 0.02% in HRFK. Our previous study reported that F koreana MeOH extract (FK) significantly recovered alloxan-induced pancreatic islets in zebrafish. However, HRFK as well as rutin exhibited an enhanced anti-diabetic effect compared to FK in our latest experiments. In conclusion, HRFK, as well as rutin and FK, have potential as anti-diabetic agents.
