This paper considers different perspectives of indicators produced by official statistics agencies, with an emphasis on technical aspects. We discuss statistical methods, impact, scope and action operationalisation of official statistic indicators. The focus is on multivariate aspects in analysing and communicating such indicators. To illustrate the points made in the paper, we use examples from well-being and sustainability reports, from the UN sustainable development goals and a Eurobarometer example. The overall objective is to enhance the added value of official statistics indicators, as they are communicated, and thus strengthen evidence-based policy-making.

Bamboo is very popular in the countryside of almost all Southeast countries, particularly in Vietnam. Its ability can replace some kinds of wood in decoration and household goods. Bamboo grows up rapidly and can be harvested within 3 to 5 years of planting; in the meanwhile, the harvesting time of other hardwood trees must be from 8 to 10 years or longer. The inherent characteristics of bamboo are lighter than other wood materials and have a value in social and environmental benefits. Its advances in manufacturing technology have created high-value products such as bamboo flooring and bamboo furniture that can substitute for wood flooring and wood furniture. Bamboo plywood presses play an important role in the production of bamboo plywood in the industry. The machine has the function of pressing bamboo powder, and binder has been mixed from the front to the bamboo plank to meet the technical requirements. This article presents a design of bamboo plywood pressing machine that combines the heating function for the blocking board and keeps that temperature during the pressing process to create a suitable size bamboo plywood according to customer requirements. The simulation results show that the complete bamboo plywood-pressing machine is appropriate and authentic to the initial design. The result of the design was applied to manufacture the machine in DCSELAB workshop via a collaboration project between Langtre PhuAn company and the DCSELAB. The system is installed a resistance flat plate capacity of 1KW, and 2 resistors flat plate with the capacity of 0.8KW. The first manufactured machine is now in the initial working session in Langtre Villige, Binh Duong province. The initial experimental products were accepted by the partner company, and we have recommended some measures to ameliorate time by time the quality as well as the productivity of the machine. There is really not yet an official statistic on the comparison with the products of a similar machine, and we are attending the response of the customers.

2.Types of land use of Shkotovsky distict as one of the specific districts of Primorye by physicalgeographical features are reviewed in this article. The material for districtss lands structure was collected by basing on the mapping of a structure of land use, studying of a statistic material, which is given on the official website of the administration of Shkotovsky district and normative documentation of the administration of Shkotovsky district. The space photos made by Sentinel2A are used in this work as the main source of information for cartographic analysis. The satellite is equipped with opticalelectronic multi spectral sensor MSI. ArcMap 10.5 programme was used for creating of the map of the land use of Shkotovsky district. The main result of the work is the map of the types of lands, created for 2017 year. The cartographic analysis was made with scale 1:100000. In the final part of the work the comparing of the official statistic material and data, which were gotten as a result of the cartographic analysis, has been made. As a result, some mismatches of the data were found. So, the indicator of the share of forest territories does not coincide. The cartographic analysis showed that there were less forests area than it can be seen in statistics. The data on agricultural lands and territories of settlements also do not coincide. Some possible sircumstances of mismatches were offered by the author. In general, according to the results of mapping, forests prevail in the structure of land use in the Shkotovsky district, the area of which is 1957.75 km. Another type of land is confined to settlements meadows. Their area is 131.16 km. The area of woodlands is 410.12 km. A much smaller area is occupied by territories with mountaintundra and subalpine vegetation 5.45 km. Agricultural land covers an area of 81.55 km. 53.8 km of the territory of the Shkotovsky district are occupied by settlements.

The thesis examines the construction of official statistics using the qualitative case study of the UK Office for National Statistics' 'Measuring National Well-being' programme. Its major original contribution is to critically engage with the making of official statistics, theorising their construction as a social process. This provides novel ways of explaining the form and content of official statistics. It also furthers debates on 'well-being' through an examination of the concept's theoretical and institutional history. The research argues that official statistic-making is an activity conducted by actors with agency. This agency is not taken into account by existing accounts of the nature of official statistics, which are more abstract and which do not engage with the statistic-making process. It is argued that attention to the social processes of official statistic-making make a fuller understanding of the form and content of statistics possible. This argument is supported by an examination of the 'Measuring National Well-being' programme. The institutional and theoretical context for this programme presents a number of challenges to existing accounts, highlighting the need for agential action. This context is explored through semi-structured interviews with those involved in the creation of the programme, triangulated against secondary material such as meeting minutes produced by the Office for National Statistics and published statistical outputs. In the specific case of the 'Measuring National Well-being' programme, the research finds a high degree of autonomy for those constructing the programme. This freedom was used to position the programme within wider European and international statistical contexts, rather than domestic political ones. Despite being a programme in a new area of social research, the final content of the programme fitted within established ways of thinking partly as a result of path dependency created by the statisticians' pre-established ways of working.More generally, it is argued that approaching the construction of official statistics as a social process helps explain the form and content of the statistic. The research demonstrates that it is possible to trace linkages between the features of the final statistic and social interactions which gave rise to them. It is argued that this is applicable beyond the case study used and beyond statistic-making in the UK.

In Brazil, during the four last administrations of Worker’s Party (PT) 2003-2015, the support to the agrarian reform seems to have stagnated, even with the influence of landless workers' movements. Thus in 2016, the impeachment President Dilma Roussef have marked a brutal stop in the agrarian reform process. How to explain that which seems at first to be a contradiction and has become a decadence of an important federal public policy?. Furthermore, how can we evaluate the debates within Brazilian society and the federal government on this theme? The article analyzes the tensions, debates, advances and impasses of the past fifteen years of agrarian reform policy in Brazil looking at the interaction between social movements and public policies. The method associates bibliography, official statistic synthesis and research results in Northeast, Amazônia and Cerrado regions among several projects. The first part results put on evidence the crescent reduction of agrarian reform settlements and beneficiary families since 2006. The second part presents the main reasons offering an analysis of government and society debates in Brazil about land reform. The analysis conclude to the less of power and representation in the society of the pro agrarian reform large and popular coalition.
