To date, effective means of predicting pregnancy labor continues to lack. Magnetic field signals during uterine contraction have shown, in recent studies, to be a good source of information for predicting labor state with a greater accuracy compared with existing methods. The means of labor prediction methods from such signals appear to rely on a supervised learning post-processing framework whose calibration relies on an effective labelling of the training sample set. As a potential solution to this, using a reduced electrode channel from magnetomyography instrumentation, we propose a multi-stage self-sorting cybernetic model that is comprised of an ensemble of various post-processing methods, and is underpinned by an unsupervised learning framework that allows for an automated method towards learning from the trend in the data to infer labor state and imminency. Experimental results showed a comparable accuracy with those from a supervised learning method adopted in a prior study. Additionally, an architecture of how an intelligent cybernetic model can be used for labor prediction and cost saving benefits within a clinical setting is offered by this study.

In the article, based on the material of micro story of F. Brown “The answer” (1954) the spectrum of key philosophical problems is analysed which are raised by the science fiction writer: from the issue about existence of higher intelligence in the Universe to the fundamental value foundations of being. In the course of analysis and interpretation there are viewed in detail artistic concept sphere and story symbolism, there are revealed its intertextual and motivational parallel with Judeo-Christian theology (Bible tradition) and general philosophical context (consonance with some ideological installations of Xenophanes of Colophon, L. Feuerbach and others). By the opinion of the article author, specified text must be attributed to the category of “stories-warnings”, containing consistent anti-utopian critics of scientific (cybernetic) model of surviving. Within the last one there is inevitably paradoxical reversal of roles of creator and its creation, leading of fatal end.

The technology of cybernetic models’ creating for the synthesis and refinement of algorithms for controlling the autonomous underwater vehicle’s (AUV’s) motion is considered. The paper gives a description of the following sequence of actions performed at each stage of the cybernetic model development: dynamic model type and parameters identification, controller type selection, construction and analysis of the considered control loop block diagram, determination of the controller’s optimal parameters. The synthesis of heading, pitch and depth stabilization regulators for streamlined shape AUV during propulsion engines controlling is performed. The results of numerical modeling and research of the various factors influence on the quality of control are presented.

Currently, there is an urgent scientific problem of ensuring the effective implementation of the automatic spacecraft (AS) flight program, taking into account the material, energy and information resource limitations of onboard systems (OS). The consumption of OS resources largely depends on the synergistic phenomena that occur during intersystem interaction in the AS. By using these phenomena, it is possible to increase the efficiency of the use of existing resources, as well as to supplement them with new "synergistic" resources [1,2]. At the same time, synergistic phenomena can lead to premature development of the OS resource and unforeseen (non-calculated) failures and accidents [3]. For purposeful search and use of these synergistic phenomena, it is necessary to conduct a special study of the processes occurring on board. Research becomes possible only when moving from the system-cybernetic model of AS as a " black box "to a system-cybernetic model that provides" transparency "of AS as a" white box", which requires high accuracy and complexity of analysis of processes occurring on board [4]. This situation determines the urgency of developing new engineering techniques and modeling technologies. To create them, it is necessary to solve the problem of the initial stage of building models that describe in one form or another the engineering knowledge of OS development experts and flight control specialists [5]. The development of a universal method for solving the problem of the initial stage of modeling is significantly complicated due to the wide variety of OS, each of which has its own emergent and synergistic properties, which largely depend on the "non-clonability" of their elements [6,7]. In order to simplify the modeling of real OS functioning processes, taking into account their specifics, it is proposed to carry out preliminary development of a formalized cognitively structured aggregate-flow metamodel ("model of models") of the AS flight control process, which contains information about potentially existing capabilities for controlling the state of vehicles in various conditions of implementation of nominal and abnormal processes. Creating a conceptual metamodel allows you to make the transition from the subject formalized model to the next stages of modeling-formal-mathematical and material-functional modeling, which take into account the individual characteristics of the processes on board the AS when controlling its flight. At the same time, the problems of overcoming the complexity of the metamodel, including its dimension, are solved.

This paper is not a comprehensive survey of the architectural career of Arata Isozaki, one of the most distinguished practicing architects in the world today and the 2019 winner of the Pritzker Prize, but a specific look at his formative years of the 1960s when he began to build his own design methodology. It delineates Isozaki’s encounter with the avant-garde art movement of the 1960s, collectively called “Anti-Art, ” against the backdrop of the “anti-spirit” of Japanese society. Although Isozaki’s artistic side has been overstated at times, previous studies rarely addressed how his intensive interactions with art circles played a role in shaping his design methodology. I would like to examine the convergence of creative individuals and cross-disciplinary connections to understand Isozaki’s architectural thinking. This study examines how Isozaki’s collaborations with his artist contemporaries enabled him to formulate the notion of the “invisible city, ” a radically new design concept characterised by the expansion of the nature of architecture from producing isolated built-forms to all-encompassing natural and manmade environments. However, after drawing on communications and information theory, which prevailed in 60s architectural circles, Isozaki’s destructive and anarchistic connotation of “invisible city” was channeled into a systematic cybernetic model and eventually transformed into a constructive planning method. I will discuss the realisation of a cybernetic environment at the Festival Plaza of Expo’ 70 and trace the legacy of “invisible city” in his later postmodern work.

This paper was developed with the motivation to design a contemporary approach to the teaching process, as well as to improve and modernize the existing theories and practices, and it is in the function of the necessary reforms of the entire educational system.Generally speaking, the paper is devoted to the methodical concept of the newly proposed model of teaching, which was created within the modification and methodical adaptation of the G. Mayer’s former cybernetic model of learning in individualized teaching. Based on the scientific didactic knowledge, an innovative methodological model was constructed – a multimedia teaching strategy, based on the integration of individualization models in educational software. In this paper, certain key segments and implications are presented, as well as the methodical procedure for the preparation and realization of the multimedia strategy that was mentioned.

This article is an integrated study conducted to develop a learning model which would make it possible to identify the students' changes of knowledge, abilities and skills acquisition over time as well as the formation of special features of their individual background. The authors have demonstrated how the traditional system of students' learning and cognitive activity management can be improved. Also, they have justified the application of the cybernetic model based on fractional equations for the description and evaluation of the student's learning process. As a result of the findings, students who assimilate the content of teaching information and form personal experience in different ways have compiled different groups; the learning curve constructed on the basis of the heterogeneous differential equation of second order with integer powers has been compared with the set of models with equations of fractional order of aperiodic and fractional power components.
