<p><em>The research aims to: 1.) determine the role of pesantren in the millennial perspective, and 2.) determine the pattern of leadership in Islamic boarding schools in the millennial perspective. It is interesting to study the development of Islamic boarding schools in the millennial era as a legacy of education during the Islamic era, particularly its role in the millennial perspective and its leadership pattern. The qualitative research method was used in this study. All leaders, caregivers, teachers, residents near the Islamic boarding school, and students at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar comprise the research population. Purposive random sampling was used to select the research sample. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used to collect research data. Data triangulation is used to verify the accuracy of the data. This research yielded the following findings is Islamic boarding schools, in their role in the millennial era, can keep up with the times. still exist and are improving. This Islamic Boarding School is a salafiyah that can keep up with the times as well as Science and Technology without departing from the existing guidelines. Without departing from the rules enshrined in Islam's teachings.</em></p>

Diniyah education has been implemented by all educational institutions in Indonesia, starting from the lowest level, namely SD/MI to SMA/MA. Initially this diniyah education was implemented in Islamic boarding schools during the month of Ramadan. The aim is to foster morals, character, and strengthen worship for students during the month of Ramadan. The purpose of this study was to identify the role of diniyah education carried out in the world of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the role of diniyah education can be measured through 4 things, namely increasing student religiosity, developing sustainable education and in accordance with the development of the times, being patient with calamities, and increasing husnuzon attitudes in students.

The development plan of the Islamic Boarding School in the middle of the times it is not impossible to do. As the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School is an educational institution that is civilized. The development of Islamic boarding school can be done through two aspects; boarding school as an educational unit and boarding school as a place of education units. Islamic Boarding School as an educational unit in the form of Muaddalah Islamic Boarding School while boarding school as a place of education unit is a main unit of doing other educational institutions. Development of the Islamic Boarding School can also be developed through the role of Islamic Boarding Schools that do not merely act as an educational institution, but also serves as a social institutions and economic institutions of society.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in community economic empowerment in Pacet Village, Mojokerto. This study uses a qualitative research approach to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects, such as subjects, perceptions, motivations, actions, and so forth. The results showed that the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic boarding school had a role in community empowerment around the boarding school. The role of Islamic boarding schools is shown by the activities of the business units of PT. Rijan Dinamis Selaras which involve communities around the boarding schools so that the benefits can be felt directly by the people of Pacet Village and its surroundings.Keywords: Economic Empowerment, Islamic Business, Islamic Communities

Discussion about the role of boarding schools in the formationand development of education, in particular the Islamiceducation, in Indonesia hardly needs to be debated and doubt.Long before Indonesia became independent, the institutions leadby the scholars (kyai) is present in the Earth. History shows thatthe boarding school is not only able to keep resistance fromexposure to the times, but also can take care of its developmentwhich continues to increase over time. According to existing data,the institution was first established, especially in Java, in the 15thcentury by Maulana Malik Ibrahim (one of the oldest walisongo)and then developed by the other walisongo. At the end of the 19thcentury, the number of boarding school in Java developed reaches300 boarding school, and based on the Notes Database boardingschools of ministry of religion RI, the number of boarding schoolsthe year 2018, this amounts to about 21,321. The resistance andsustainable development of the boarding schools that certainlycould not be released from the academic tradition developedwhich has a pretty strong distinction. One of them is the patternof his education is transformative. It makes boarding school isnot simply a religious institution that merely engaged in theworld of religious education for the students, but at the sametime have the concern and active role of the community in jointlyempower themselves. These values also did not escape from Al-Falah boarding school Somolangu, Kebumen. It will also makeboarding school can be instrumental in giving a concretecontribution for global life.

The purpose of the study was to find out the title role of Pesantren believer Cooperative Mandiri Sidoarjo towards economic empowerment and independence employee boarding schools. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach to the case study method. Data collection was carried out by interviews and direct observation to informants, namely those in charge of pesantren, cooperative and cooperative employees (santri). And secondary data collection comes from journals, text books and other literature. The result of this study is the Mukmin Mandiri Pesantren Cooperative plays a major role in enhancing the empowerment of cooperative employees (santri) and playing an optimal role in supporting the independence of the cottage. The economic empowerment of pesantren employees conducted by the Mukmin Mandiri Pesantren Cooperative is by making the Cooperative a work field, a place to apply knowledge and a place to increase income. As for the independence of the cottage, that is to become the main source of funding for Islamic boarding schools in carrying out operations and the sustainability of Islamic boarding schools. Going forward, the Cooperative will further optimize the empowerment of union employees (santri) to print better students in the field of entrepreneurship and religion.Keywords: Cooperative Boarding School, Economic Empowerment, Independence of Islamic Boarding Schools

Pondok Pesantren is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia. The significance of the kiai's role in the boarding school is directly proportional to his leadership in managing and directing the entire community in his cottage, especially the students and their influence in society. While the model in leading his Islamic boarding school, each kiai has his own method for advancing his pesantren. This happened because of the kiai's focus on developing his boarding school and the environmental conditions of the surrounding community. This article was describe how the leadership role of kiai in Islamic boarding schools in developing the institutions. This research  was descriptive research methods with a qualitative research approach. The main finding in the researcher was the figure of a kiai with his charismatic character that able to have a positive effect in the development of the Islamic boarding schools. Aim of scope this research is analysis the role of work motivation in employee performance in Tanjung Balai North Tanjungbalai District office Research method is a method used by researchers in collecting research data. In this study the method used is a qualitative research method which is a research method whose case study leads to a detailed and in-depth description of the portrait of what actually happens according to what is in the field of study. The results showed that the role of work motivation in employee performance in Tanjung Balai North Tanjungbalai District office that motivation is very influential is the work itself which it has if appropriate, but in reality there are still employees who find it difficult to carry out motivation due to the employee wanting to retire, this ditujukkan of employees in completing the work given is always not maximally done well, and the work given to employees in accordance with the expertise and ability of employees so that in the completion of the work will cause a feeling of dislike of the work with results that are not good too. So that it can be said that the work of the employee itself motivates them to work.

Abstract The role of the cottage pesantern in fostering morals already uncontested again with a lot of challenges and temptations for the life of the students. This study aims to describe and learn about the role of boarding school in fostering promiscuity teen in SMK Ma'arif 1 Kebumen. This study is a field research and types of qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique that used qualitative descriptive analysis which consists of 3 grooves of the activities that take place simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusion. This technique is used as a reference for the writing of the results of research and facilitate understanding of the description, which presented the results of the end of the study. The research will be looking the role of the pesantren in the development of character in SMK ma'arif 1 Kebumen. Expected from the coaching to the youth as the next generation can give birth to a generation better. The generation that is able to maintain values but can contribute to the development of the Indonesian nation from the physical and spiritual. The Covid-19 pandemic affects the emotional mental condition of the tahfidz al-Qur'an Islamic boarding school students. The existence of Covid-19 has had a physical and psychological impact on every student. The students who are in the boarding school environment must practice social distancing. The students at the Islamic boarding school must stay in the cottage with the application of the quarantine method. This study aims to obtain and provide an overview of the mental and emotional disorders of students in Islamic boarding schools who are currently in quarantine. This type of research is qualitative research with this research method being descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques in this study, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on data analysis, tahfidz students from Islamic boarding schools in Banyumas experienced a decrease in reduced deposits and some even could only do muraja'ah.

Islamic boarding schools are traditional Islamic educational institutions to study, understand, explore, live, and practice Islamic teachings by emphasizing the importance of religious morals as guidelines for daily behavior. Curriculum management is important, to make the mission and vision of the boarding school targets in accordance with the boarding school objectives based on the level and necessary. Curriculum management includes planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum activities. The curriculum management of Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic boarding school, is al Qur'an-based (Qur'an and Interpretation Development). This study is a qualitative research method, with data collection using interviews, observation and documentation and triangulation as an anlysis.  The results of the study are conducting deliberations and coaching with the boarding school caretakers and all religious teachers / clerics (planning), the implementation is the activity of qur'any learning and tafsir amaly, and in evaluation is the responsible report to ustadz/ustadzah about the results, supporting factors: the curriculum has made can be followed since  all teachers are the alumni of the Islamic boarding school Al Urwatul Wutsqo, and the inhibiting factor is the bussines of the teacher ho are studying, so that their time is disturbed.
