Ceramic product shape evaluation is an important part of product development, an important method to optimize product shape design, and is of great significance to reasonably locate users’ consumption psychology and promote the development of ceramic product industry. In this paper, we propose an eye-tracking-based evaluation method for ceramic products from the user’s point of view, in view of the fact that there are few studies on ceramic product shape evaluation, and it is mainly led by designers and enterprise leaders subjectively, with low user participation and lack of objective evaluation means and objective data support. In this paper, through the implementation of eye-movement experiments, we obtain and analyze the eye-movement data related to the semantic perception evaluation of product modeling and the overall evaluation of modeling, establish the mapping relationship between user evaluation and eye-movement data, and provide objective data support for modeling evaluation. This paper provides an objective data support for the styling evaluation. This paper provides new ideas for the ceramic product modeling evaluation method, which helps to promote the development of ceramic product industry, improve the brand recognition of enterprises, and help the marketing personnel to make reasonable marketing planning plans. For the semantic perceptual evaluation of ceramic product styling based on eye-tracking, the effectiveness of product styling design concept communication is evaluated. Ceramic products are constantly changing and developing, with new shapes appearing and old shapes being eliminated. Continual innovation and development of ceramics based on inherited traditions can give them a new look and color under the existing modeling style. Compared with other categories, although ceramic modeling has relatively abstract formal characteristics, but it is the extension of the modeling, still has obvious morphological characteristics, and the impact on people’s aesthetic mood.

Products no longer exist simply as carriers of useful functions, but more and more consumers are beginning to pay attention to the spiritual aspects of the feelings brought by products. This paper brings machine learning algorithms to the discipline of industrial design and proposes a method to evaluate the design of product shapes using a multilayer perceptron genetic algorithm neural network (GA-MLP-NN) algorithm, quantifying the product shape, using computer-aided design technology to achieve shape optimization, shape, and color scheme generation, and using interactive feedback with users to finally generate a product shape with market demand. In this paper, we use the combinatorial innovation method to arrange and combine the detail elements in the solution library to generate the modeling solution, combine the multilayer perceptron genetic algorithm neural network algorithm with product modeling, and establish the interactive genetic modeling system for the product, use this system to design the product modeling solution, and finally get the product modeling solution satisfied by the target users; using the multilayer perceptron genetic algorithm neural network method to evaluate the product modeling items. The mapping relationship model between morphological feature space and imagery cognitive space was constructed based on multiple linear regression equations, and the multiple regression model for each affective dimension was ideal. The results show that the model performance is reliable. The weights are calculated, and the appropriate people are selected to score and calculate the modeling scheme, and finally, the satisfactory product modeling scheme is obtained.

Expert system is a methodology to adapt algorithm of successful decisions in one sphere of scientific and practical activity into another. Widespread information technology is an identical intelligent computer program that contains the knowledge and analytical skills of one or more experts in the field of application and is able to draw logical conclusions based on this knowledge, thereby solving specific problems in designing the process equipment without the presence of an expert (a specialist in a specific problem area). The expert system allows to solve problems in a narrow subject area. The modern realities of introduced automated production do not provide a quality result, because all design decisions are made on the basis of subjective knowledge and intuitive feelings. One way to solve this problem is to develop formalized human-machine design methods in the early stages of creating a project of process equipment. This study describes the process of developing an expert system, which is aimed at solving problems of product modeling, optimization synthesis of the process operation structure and layout of the process machine. In the study, the author identifies the stages of process equipment designing, identifies the components of the expert system, and describes the procedural model of the design process. The result of the paper is the developed structure of software and information support of the automated information system for the design of process equipment. The developed system will speed up the decision-making process in the design of process equipment and receive competent advice. The expert system will serve as a basis for the introduction of intelligent production and smart consumption, which confidently goes hand in hand with the Fourth Industrial Revolution

The construction industry is one of the most unpredictable and human-dependent sectors of production. This is due to the large flow of information during construction, which requires clear organizational activities. Traditionally established methods of communication on construction sites require modernization. That is why the concept for practitioners "Building Description System and Construction Product Modeling" was developed in 1970. The building society supported this concept and called it "Building Information Modeling" - BIM. The new wave of digital design required a strong material and technical base, the analysis of existing documentation and the creation of design tools began. The authors of the article use the highly specialized NavisWorks software to analyze possible losses as a result of combining the existing design documentation into BIM models on the example of one of the Nur-Sultan projects. The residential complex located in Nur-Sultan was chosen as the object under study. The residential apartment building was chosen because of the scale of the project and its full implementation in the BIM system. The article makes a comparative analysis on finding the intersections on the principle of combinatorics. The section of structural and space-planning solutions is checked for intersections with the sections of heating and ventilation, water supply and sewerage, then the logic is repeated. Exceptional combinations are selected to check for conflicts (collisions).

At present, machine learning artificial neural network technology, as one of the core technologies of enterprises, has received unprecedented attention. This technology is widely used in automatic driving, pattern recognition, teaching aid, product modeling, and other fields. According to the development of product design, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the decision-making of product design. The neural network optimized by genetic algorithm is studied, and the technical analysis of neural network algorithm before and after optimization is mainly carried out. The basic process of product modeling design model based on image processing under the background of big data is introduced. The multidirectional group decision-making model of product modeling design scheme in big data cloud environment is constructed. The final decision model can improve the overall design efficiency, shorten the manufacturing period, and provide a new idea for product modeling design.

Background: Curved modeling technology is originated from the geometric lofting and designing of aircraft, automobiles, and ships. The control points of the traditional B-spline mesh should be placed regularly in rows and columns. A T-spline surface is a type of B-spline surface that allows T-junctions. It can overcome the limitations of traditional B-mesh topology and has its own advantages in surface splicing, surface fining, surface simplification, and so on. T-spline has wide application prospects in product modeling, art design, animation production, numerical control machining, volume data expression, and other aspects. Objective: The objective of this paper is to summarize the properties, algorithms, and applications of T-splines. It helps scholars in determining the research status of T-splines and further exploring the theories and applications of T-splines. Methods: This paper reviews the theories of T-splines and their applications from four aspects. First, we discuss the development of the concept, properties, algorithms, and reconstruction of the T-spline. Then, we conduct an isogeometric analysis using T-splines. Next, we demonstrate the applications of T-splines in actual scenarios. Finally, we present a brief summary of the paper and future expectations. Results: The paper provides a brief introduction of the relevant papers on T-splines. Currently, many studies have been carried out on theories and applications of T-spline. Among these, the spline theory on T-mesh has aroused widespread interest in engineering, especially in computer-aided geometric design (CAGD) and computer graphics. Conclusion: The T-spline surface is the most important new spline surface in the CADG field since the creation of the B-spline surface and non-uniform rational B-spline surface. Although the surface modeling technology based on the T-spline surface is developing rapidly, there are still some problems that need to be further studied.
